Mighty ducks imagine/ preference

Locker room speech.

"This isn't a hockey game it's a circus." Coach Bombay said with his hands on his hips shaking his head slightly. The buzzer rang period 2 is over, meaning one more period to redeem ourselves.

We walked into the locker room, some of us taking off our jerseys trying to cool off. I stood next to Fulton, who I am dating. I was talking to Dean and Fulton when coach walked in.

"You guys enjoy that?" He asked and we all cheered yeah. "Okay well so did they. Because they're still 3 points up, and we're one period away from defeat." Coach said. Looking around at everyone.

We all sat down while he talked Miss Mackay next to him. "Well if we can beat them, we might as well keep our pride." Jesse said standing up.

Yeahs came from everyone as we all looked like we've given up. Coach let out a sigh and shook his head before saying "Jesse, that's not pride, sure when Dwayne roped that big guy part of me cheered, but guys I've been there." Coach starts.

"I know how you feel. I wanted to cream that jerk that busted my knee when I played in the minors."

"And I really really wanted to go after Stanton, for that cheep shot." Coach said walking past me and Fulton looking at every single one of us kids.

"But you know what? My knee will heal, and if become someone I'm not, if I sink to there level. Well I've lost more than my knee. You understand?" Coach finishes. I mutter a yeah, I look over at Fulton and Dean who give each other a look.

Coach walks back where he stood in the first place, you could tell he knew he said the right things. Everyone could tell, but you know he wasn't finish.

"We're not goons, we're not bullies. No matter what people say or do, we have to be ourselves." Coach officially finishes for now.

Coach looks in my direction but then looks at Dean. "You. Who are you?" He says pointing to Dean. "Dean Portman." "From where?" "Chicago, Illinois..." Dean said sounding nervous.

"You." Coach said pointing to Guy. "Guy Germaine." He said with a slight smile. "From where?" Coach asked. "St. Paul, Minnesota." Guy says.

Coach points to Jesse. "You" he says. "Jesse Hall, from Minneapolis, Minnesota." Jesse says.

"Who are you?" Coach said pointing to Julie. "Julie Gaffney from Bangor, Maine." Julie says.

Coach points to Luis. "Luis Mendoza Miami, Florida." Luis answers in response while standing up.

"Greg Goldberg, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania." Goldberg said standing up. "Les Averman. Brooklyn Park, Minnesota." Les said standing up beside Goldberg.

"Fulton Reed Stillwater, Minnesota!" Fulton said sounding proud as he stood up, Dean hitting Fulton's shoulder. "Bella Conway, Minneapolis, Minnesota." I smile standing up next to Fulton who wrapped his arm around my shoulder bringing me into his chest.

"Russ Tyler, Los Angeles, California." Russ said standing with a huge grin on his face. "Charlie Conway, Minneapolis, Minnesota." My brother said with a smile as he stood up next to Russ.

"Ken Wu, San Francisco, California." Kenny said standing next to me I pat his shoulder as he looks back at me with a smile.

"Connie Moreau, Minneapolis, Minnesota." Connie said standing up next to Luis, Guy standing up next to her with a grin on his face.

"Adam Banks, Edina, Minnesota." Adam said standing up, Julie standing up after him. "Dwayne Robertson, Austin, Texas" Dwayne said standing up wearing a grin, Jesse patting his shoulder.

"Michelle McKay, Duluth, Minnesota." Miss Mckay said. "And I'm Gordon Bombay from Minneapolis, Minnesota." Coach said. We all clapped and cheered with smiles on our faces.

"We're team USA. Gathered from all across America. We're going to stick together, you know why?" Coach said. That's when Jan walks into the room. "Because we're ducks. And ducks fly together" Jan said. Coach looked back to see a smile on his face.

" that's right Jan." Coach said pointing to Jan. "Just when you think they are about to break apart." Coach said.

"Ducks fly together." We all said. "And when the wind blows hard and the sky is black?" Miss McKay said. "Ducks Fly together!" We all said.

"And when the roosters are crowin and cows are spinning circles in the pasture." Dwayne said and we all froze looking confused but coach started it off. "Ducks fly together!" We all said.

"And when everyone says it can't be done, ducks fly together..." Coach says. "Now new ducks and old ducks must unite under a new banner, and I thought perhaps..." Jan says.

We walked onto the ice with New Jerseys on. Where not team USA.. we're team USA ducks.

The game continues and the shoot out happens, Coach switched Goldberg out with Julie. Gunner does the triple deke glove side, hitting the puck.

Everyone in the audience and the teams waited, until Julie opened her glove dropping it onto the ice.

Team USA ducks won, the crowd goes wide while we all get up and cheer going onto the ice. I hugged Fulton and kissed his cheek. We went to cheer with the team us skating around Charlie holding up the American Flag waving it around and he ran across the ice.
