I woke up early in the morning, excited for our girls' day out with Connie and Julie. I knew Fulton was busy with his own hockey practice, so I didn't bother him with our plans. I wanted to surprise him later with all the fun we had.
I spent hours getting ready for the day, carefully selecting my outfit and jewelry. I wore my favorite short dress and paired it with black converses for comfort. I curled my long brunette hair and put on my gold jewelry, including a necklace with Fulton's initial, gold bracelets, a necklace with a hockey stick charm that Fulton gave me, and a necklace my dad gave me.
When I finally stepped out of my room, Connie and Julie were already done getting ready. They looked beautiful in their outfits, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for their friendship. We made our way to Rodeo Drive, chatting and laughing along the way.
As we walked, I felt a sense of security knowing that my two best friends had my back. I knew they would always be there for me, just like I would be there for them. The bond we had was unbreakable, and it gave me a sense of peace.
As we arrived at Rodeo Drive, and we started shopping.
Fulton's Pov:
I was on my way to hang out with my buddies, Dean, Charlie, Jesse, and Averman when I decided to stop by my girlfriend Kaylee Dawson's dorm to say hi. As I arrived, I realized she wasn't there. In fact, neither were Connie nor Julie. I wondered where they could be and went to Averman's dorm to ask my friends. As soon as I asked, they all broke and told me that the girls went to Rodeo Drive.
I immediately knew that I had to go get them. I didn't want anything to happen to my girlfriend or her friends. Dean, my teammate, decided to come with me.
As we arrived at Rodeo Drive, I saw the girls and made my way over to Kaylee, who was wearing a beautiful short black dress and black converses. I yelled to get her attention, and she turned around, looking shocked to see me there.
"What the hell are you doing here, Reed?" Kaylee asked.
"I came to make sure you and the girls are safe," I replied.
"We're fine. We can go home and hang out," Kaylee said.
Dean and I protested. We didn't want the girls to go home alone. An argument ensued, but eventually, the girls agreed to go back to their dorm to change and hang out with us.
As we arrived at Averman's dorm, the girls went to change, and we waited for them. I couldn't help but notice that Kaylee was sitting away from me. I wanted to make things right, so I went over to her and grabbed her waist, setting her in my lap.
"Are you mad at me?" I asked Kaylee.
"No, I'm not mad," Kaylee replied softly.
I leaned in and kissed her cheek, making her smile. We stayed like that while we all hung out, enjoying each other's company.
As the night went on, Kaylee and I talked about everything and anything. We laughed, joked, and shared stories. I was so happy to have Kaylee in my life, and I wanted to make sure she knew that.
"I love you, Kaylee," I whispered to her.
Kaylee looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with love.
"I love you too, Fulton," she replied.
Together, we sat in each other's arms, feeling grateful for the love we shared. It was a night we would never forget.
