As you finished brushing your teeth, you couldn't help but hum a tune under your breath, feeling relaxed and content after a long day. Les walked into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around you, resting his chin on your shoulder.
"You should sing more often, babe. Your voice is beautiful," he whispered, planting a soft kiss on your cheek.
You turned around to face him and smiled, feeling your heart swell with affection for him. "You really think so?" you asked, still a little shy about your singing.
Les nodded, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Yes, I do. I mean, I don't really know anything about singing, but I know that I love hearing you sing. It makes me happy."
You couldn't help but feel touched by his words. "Thanks, Les," you said, feeling a sudden surge of emotion. "That means a lot to me."
He smiled and pulled you in for a warm hug, holding you close to his chest. You could feel the steady beat of his heart, and for a moment, the world outside seemed to fade away.
"I love you," he said softly, his lips brushing against your forehead.
"I love you too," you replied, feeling your heart race with excitement and contentment.
As you changed into his shirt and gym shorts, you couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious. You had always been more mature than Les, and sometimes you felt like you needed to keep up a certain persona around him. But as he watched you change, his eyes sparkling with affection, you realized that he loved you for who you were, flaws and all.
"You look so cute in my clothes," he said, grinning widely.
You rolled your eyes, but couldn't help but smile back. "You're such a goofball, Les."
He shrugged, still smiling. "Hey, you knew what you were getting into when you started dating me."
You chuckled and crawled into bed next to him, feeling his warmth envelop you. As he wrapped his arms around you, you felt a sense of safety and comfort that you had never felt with anyone else.
"I'm so glad we have tonight just to ourselves," he murmured, his breath warm on your neck.
You snuggled into his embrace, feeling a sense of peace wash over you. "Me too," you replied. "I just want to enjoy this moment with you."
And that's exactly what you did. As you drifted off to sleep, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the way Les made you feel. Despite your differences in maturity levels, you knew that he loved you unconditionally, and that was all that mattered.
As you lay in bed with Les, his arms wrapped tightly around you, you couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this moment. Life had been so hectic lately, with work and other responsibilities taking up most of your time. But right now, all that mattered was the two of you, together in this cozy little cocoon.
You shifted in his arms, resting your head against his chest. You could feel his steady heartbeat, and it was like a lullaby, calming you and easing your mind.
"I feel so lucky to have you in my life," you said quietly, breaking the silence.
Les tightened his grip on you, pulling you even closer. "I feel the same way, babe. You make everything better, just by being here."
You smiled, feeling a sense of contentment wash over you. "I'm glad I can make you happy."
"You do more than that," he said, his voice low and husky. "You make me feel alive."
You could feel your cheeks flush with heat at his words. Les had a way of making you feel special, even on your worst days. He knew just the right things to say to lift your mood and make you feel loved.
As you lay there, wrapped up in each other, you couldn't help but reflect on how far you had come as a couple. It hadn't always been easy, but you had been through so much together, and it had only made your bond stronger. You had faced challenges and triumphs, and through it all, you had always had each other's backs.
"You know," Les said suddenly, breaking your reverie. "I was thinking tonight, maybe we could do something special together. Just the two of us."
You looked up at him, intrigued. "Like what?"
He grinned, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Well, I was thinking we could make dinner together. And then maybe we could have a movie night, just the two of us. And if things get really wild, we could even play some board games."
You laughed, feeling your heart swell with affection for him. "That sounds perfect. I'd love that."
"Good," he said, his voice low and husky. "I want tonight to be all about us. No distractions, no worries. Just you and me, together."
You felt a sudden surge of emotion, a lump forming in your throat. This was why you loved Les so much – he always knew just what you needed, even when you didn't.
As you settled into the evening, cooking dinner together and snuggling up for a cozy movie night, you couldn't help but feel grateful for this moment. Life was full of ups and downs, but as long as you had Les by your side, you knew you could face anything.
