Les and I had been dating for a while now, and I couldn't help but feel like I was the luckiest girl in the world. He was charming, funny, and had a heart of gold. We were both athletes, and we often found ourselves in the locker room together, chatting before practice.

As I slipped my jersey on, Les made another silly comment. "You know, babe, I think I'm going to start wearing your jersey instead of mine," he joked, grinning from ear to ear.

I laughed, shaking my head. "Les, I love you but you're a complete idiot," I teased, but my words were filled with love.

Les rolled his eyes, but I could see a hint of a smile on his lips. I reached up and wrapped my arm around his neck, pulling him in for a sweet peck on the lips. "I can't help it," I said, still smiling. "You just make me so happy."

Les wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. "That's all I want," he whispered, his breath warm on my neck. "To make you happy."

I turned to face him, still wrapped in his arms. "You do," I said, looking into his eyes. "Every day."

Les leaned in to kiss me again, and our kiss was slow and tender, filled with all the love and passion we felt for each other. It was as if the world around us had disappeared, and it was just me and him, wrapped up in each other's love.

As we pulled away, I rested my forehead against Les's, feeling his warm breath on my face. "I'm so lucky to have you," I whispered, feeling my heart swell with love.

"The feeling is mutual, babe," Les replied, his hands still resting on my waist. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

I smiled, feeling grateful for the love we shared. "I know," I said, leaning in to kiss him one more time. "And I'll always be here for you too."
