Emma Robertson, Dwayne's little sister, and Luis Mendoza were roommates in a dorm room they shared with Dwayne, Goldberg, and Kenny. One evening, while Dwayne and Goldberg were out hanging out, Emma and Luis were sitting on their bed talking. Suddenly, Luis leaned in and pecked Emma on the lips. They started kissing, but Emma pulled away, saying "Oh my God, we're roommates. We can't do this. If Dwayne catches us, he'll be furious."

"Don't worry, princesa," Luis reassured her. "I won't let him catch us."

Emma was hesitant, but Luis put his arm around her waist and kissed her again. We do it, on his bed.

We were sitting on the bed, talking and laughing, until we got tired and laid down. We pulled the covers up to our chins, and I turned to my side, feeling Luis's arms wrapping around me from behind. We were so comfortable with each other, and it felt like we belonged together.

As we drifted off to sleep, we heard a faint sound of yelling. I sat up, wondering what was happening. It sounded like Luis and Dwayne were arguing, about something related to us. I looked around and saw Luis's shirt on the bed. That's when I realized what was going on.

Dwayne was upset about me and Luis being in bed together. "What the hell is going on here?" He shouted, startling us.

I tried to explain to him that we were just sleeping, but he kept arguing. "You two are roommates, not lovers. What kind of message are you sending to everyone else in the dorm?" Dwayne said, his voice rising with each word.

Luis spoke up, his voice calm but firm. "It's not just about sending a message, Dwayne. We're in love. We care about each other, and we want to be together."

Dwayne scoffed. "Love? You've only been dating for a few weeks. You're risking everything for a fling."

"It's not a fling," Luis said. "We've known each other for months, and we've been building our relationship slowly. We didn't want to rush into anything, but we knew we had feelings for each other."

I joined in, feeling the need to defend our relationship. "Dwayne, Luis and I have talked about this. We're both adults, and we're capable of making our own decisions. We're not hurting anyone, and we're not breaking any rules. We're just two people who have fallen in love."

Dwayne shook his head. "I just don't get it. You guys were such good friends, and now you're turning everything upside down."

Luis put his hand on my shoulder. "We're still friends, Dwayne. More than that, we're partners. We support each other, and we make each other happy. Isn't that what matters?"

Dwayne looked at us, his expression softening. "I guess you're right. Maybe I'm just being old-fashioned. I don't want to lose either of you."

We hugged it out, and Dwayne apologized for overreacting. From that day on, he became our biggest supporter. He even helped us plan our first date, and he gave us relationship advice. We were grateful for his understanding and acceptance, and we knew that we had made the right choice in being together.

As we lay in bed, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that I had found my soulmate. Luis was my companion, my confidant, and my lover. And even though we were sharing a dorm room, it felt like we had found a home with each other.
