As Haley got dressed in the locker room, she couldn't help but feel disappointed that nobody on the team had remembered her birthday. Even Kenny, who always called her "my love," had been quiet about it. But as she was putting on her blue jean shorts, she felt arms wrap around her waist and turned around to see Kenny.

"Hey," he said with a smile. "You look beautiful."

Haley blushed and smiled back at him. "Thanks, but why didn't anyone say anything about my birthday at practice?"

Kenny's smile turned into a mischievous grin. "Well, we didn't want to ruin the surprise."

As they walked to the restaurant, Haley couldn't help but feel excited and nervous. Her parents, her brother Adam, and the whole hockey team were waiting for her. When they arrived, everyone shouted, "Happy Birthday!" and Haley felt overwhelmed with joy.

Coach, her parents, and Adam all gave her hugs and wished her well. The team had even gotten her presents, and she couldn't believe how thoughtful they all were. Hans and Jan showed up with a new pair of skates, and Haley was thrilled.

But when she opened Kenny's present, she was blown away. He had gotten her a beautiful necklace with a heart and a hockey stick charm, his hoodie, some perfume, and a cute stuffed animal.

"Thank you so much, Kenny," she said, giving him a hug and a kiss. "This is amazing."

As they all sat down to eat dinner, the conversation flowed easily, and Haley felt so loved and appreciated. The team had even planned a sleepover at her house, and they all stayed up late, watching movies and talking.

As the night wore on, Haley found herself snuggling into Kenny's side, and he wrapped his arms around her protectively.

"I'm so glad you had a great birthday,Haley," he whispered into her ear.

Haley smiled sleepily and nuzzled her head against his chest. "It's all thanks to you and the team. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday."

As they drifted off to sleep, Haley felt content and loved, surrounded by the people who meant the most to her.
