Adriana sat in her living room, snuggled up next to Charlie, her boyfriend of two years. They were celebrating their anniversary together, eating pizza, and watching a movie. As they sat there, cuddling, Adriana's mind wandered back to the promise they made to each other five years ago, when they were just seven years old.

She turned to Charlie and asked, "Do you remember when we were kids and we made that promise at the pond? Together forever?"

Charlie's eyes lit up as he remembered that day. They had been playing hockey at the pond next to their houses, and after a particularly exciting game, they had made a promise to each other, ending it with "together forever." Even though they were just kids, they had both meant it with all their hearts.

"Of course I remember," Charlie replied, a smile spreading across his face. "We were just little kids then, but I knew even back then that we were meant to be together."

Adriana felt her heart swell with love as she listened to Charlie's words. "I feel the same way, Charlie. You make me so happy," she said, taking his hand in hers.

They cuddled together on the couch, enjoying each other's company and talking about their future. "I can't imagine my life without you, Adriana. You're my best friend, my partner, my everything," Charlie said, looking deeply into her eyes.

Adriana felt tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she looked back at him. "I love you so much, Charlie. I'm so grateful that we found each other," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

As they leaned in for a long, romantic kiss, Adriana's mind once again drifted back to that day at the pond. They had both been so young, but even then, they had known that they were meant to be together.

Over the years, they had grown up together, always remaining the closest of friends. And when they had finally started dating two years ago, it had felt like the most natural thing in the world.

As they finished watching the movie, Adriana couldn't help but feel like this was the best anniversary ever. Just her and Charlie, together, forever. They had come a long way since that day at the pond, but their love for each other had only grown stronger. And as they cuddled up together, Adriana knew that they would be together forever, just like they had promised all those years ago.
