You and Fulton had been dating for two years, and your relationship was the envy of all your friends. But lately, things had been rocky between you two. One day, while discussing future plans, you both had a heated argument that led to hurtful words being exchanged. It was the first time you had fought like this, and it left both of you emotionally drained.

Despite your attempts to make up, the damage had been done, and you both decided to take a break. You missed him terribly and longed for the late-night phone calls, the kisses, and cuddles.

A few months later, you were walking in downtown Minnesota, lost in thought when you bumped into someone. As you looked up, you saw Fulton standing in front of you. You both said sorry, and as you were about to walk away, he grabbed your arm, turning you around to face him.

"I'm sorry," he said, his voice filled with remorse. "I know I hurt you, and I hate myself for it. I miss you so much."

You could see the sincerity in his eyes, and a part of you wanted to forgive him, but you couldn't let go of the hurt just yet.

"You hurt me, Fulton," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know if I can forgive you."

"I understand," he said, his eyes never leaving yours. "But please, just hear me out. I love you. I know I messed up, but I promise to make it up to you. I'll do whatever it takes to make things right."

His words touched your heart, and you felt the walls you had built around yourself slowly crumble. You took a step closer to him, and he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you in for a hug.

"I miss you so much," he whispered into your ear, and you felt a tear roll down your cheek.

"I miss you too," you replied, your voice cracking with emotion.

In that moment, all the hurt and pain melted away, and you both realized just how much you meant to each other. You spent the rest of the day talking, laughing, and reminiscing about the good times you had shared.

In the end, you both learned that no matter how much you argue, love is stronger than any disagreement, and that sometimes, it takes a little bit of pain to realize just how much you truly love someone.
