As I walked down the hallway towards my locker, I spotted Dean leaning against the wall. He looked upset, and my heart went out to him. I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Hey man, everything okay?"

He shook his head. "No, not really. Can we talk?"

I nodded and followed him to an empty corner of the hallway. He took a deep breath and looked me in the eye. "I just found out that my girlfriend cheated on me. And I want to get back at her."

I raised an eyebrow. "How?"

He hesitated for a moment before saying, "I want you to be my fake girlfriend."

I almost choked on my own spit. "What? Hell no, Dean. I didn't mean anything like that when I said I'd do anything for you."

He looked taken aback. "I know, I know. But I just thought...I don't know. It's stupid, forget it."

We stood there for a few moments in awkward silence before his ex-girlfriend walked past us. Dean's jaw clenched as he watched her go by, and I knew that he was hurting.

Before I could say anything, Dean leaned me up against my locker and pressed his lips to mine. I melted into the kiss immediately, wrapping my arms around his neck. He pulled away, and we both looked over to see his ex staring at us.

Dean put his arm around me and pulled me into him. "This is my new girlfriend," he said, glaring at his ex. "We're dating now."

His ex rolled her eyes and started to say something, but Dean cut her off. "We're together, okay? You had your chance and you blew it. Now leave us alone."

She huffed and walked away, and I couldn't help but feel a little bit smug. Dean turned to me and hugged me tightly. "Thank you," he whispered in my ear. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

I hugged him back, feeling something stir inside me that I hadn't felt before. We walked to my car, and as I was about to get in, Dean grabbed my arm. "Hey," he said softly. "I know this is crazy, but I kind of like pretending to be your boyfriend."

I looked up at him, my heart pounding in my chest. "What do you mean?"

He smiled shyly. "I don't know. It just feels...right, you know? Like we're meant to be together."

I stared at him, speechless. He stepped closer, placing a hand on my cheek. "I know we've been friends forever, but I've always wondered what it would be like to be with you. And now that we're pretending, it's like I can't stop thinking about you."

I opened my mouth to say something, but Dean leaned in and kissed me again, his lips soft and warm against mine. I kissed him back, feeling a rush of emotion that I couldn't explain.

We pulled away from each other, both of us breathing heavily. "Wow," I said, leaning my forehead against his. "I don't know what to say."

He chuckled. "You don't have to say anything. Just...let's see where this goes, okay? I know it's crazy, but I can't stop thinking about you."

I smiled, feeling giddy and happy and scared all at once. "Okay," I said softly. "Let's see where this goes."

Dean hugged me tightly, and I knew that no matter what happened, we would always be there for each other.
