You and Adam were invited to a party, and you both decided to go together. The atmosphere was lively, the music was loud, and the alcohol was flowing freely. You started drinking from your friend's drink, and before you knew it, you had drunk more than you could handle.

Adam noticed the change in your behavior and cut you off from drinking. You were a little upset, but you knew he was right. A little while later, you tried to kiss him, but he pushed you away gently. You started tearing up as you felt embarrassed and rejected.

Adam followed you out of the room, and you both started talking. You were crying and asking him if he loved you. He took your hand and looked into your eyes, "Of course, I do. I love you with all my heart, but I don't want to take advantage of you when you're not in your senses."

You shook your head, feeling ashamed of your actions, and apologized to Adam. A little while later, you started to sober up, and Adam took you home. As you sat in the car, you couldn't help but feel grateful for having someone like Adam in your life.

As you arrived home, Adam walked you to your doorstep and held your hand. You looked up at him, feeling vulnerable, and whispered, "I'm sorry for what happened tonight. I don't want to lose you."

Adam cupped your face in his hands and wiped away your tears. "You won't lose me. I'm here, and I'll always be here for you."

You both leaned in for a kiss, and this time it was slow and gentle. It was a reassurance of your love for each other. As you pulled away, Adam whispered, "I love you, and I always will."

You smiled, feeling a sense of contentment, and replied, "I love you too, Adam. You're my everything."

Adam held you close, and you both stood there, feeling the warmth of each other's embrace. "I don't ever want to see you hurt like this again," he said, his voice soft and tender.

You looked up at him and said, "I know, and I'm sorry. I promise I'll never drink like that again, and I'll always be careful."

Adam smiled at you, his eyes filled with love and concern. "I know you will. You're strong, and you're amazing. You don't need alcohol to have fun or to feel good about yourself."

You leaned your head against his chest, feeling safe and secure in his arms. "I'm just glad you're here with me. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Adam kissed the top of your head, his fingers running through your hair. "You'll never have to find out. I'm always going to be here for you, no matter what."
