As I walked towards Dwayne's cabin in the woods, I couldn't help but feel my heart beating faster with every step. I knew deep down that I had feelings for him that transcended mere friendship.
As soon as I opened the door, Dwayne greeted me with his usual smile, and we sat down to watch a hockey game. But my mind was elsewhere, and as soon as our eyes met, I knew that he felt the same.
Suddenly, Dwayne leaned in and hugged me tightly, his lips pressing against mine. I kissed him back, savoring every moment of his touch. And then, he asked me the question that changed everything.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Dwayne asked, his eyes filled with love and affection.
My heart racing, I replied without hesitation, "Yes, I will be your girlfriend."
Dwayne pecked my lips, and we stayed in his bed, cuddling and talking for hours on end. He told me about his past, his dreams, and his fears, and I listened intently, feeling grateful for every moment that we shared.
As we lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that I had found the love of my life. And I vowed to cherish every moment with him, no matter what life threw our way.
