Amber Bombay snuggled up against her best friend Adam, his arm protectively around her waist. She watched as the team skated around on the ice, her heart racing with excitement. Playing hockey had always been her dream since she was a little girl, and now she was finally living it.

As the team took a break, Amber's father Coach Bombay walked over with a smile on his face. "Hey guys, I want you to meet someone," he said, gesturing toward Amber. "This is my daughter, Amber."

The team looked at her in surprise, not realizing that their coach had a daughter who was also a hockey player. But they welcomed her with open arms, and over the next few weeks, they grew closer and closer.

Amber found herself falling for one of her teammates, Dean Portman. They spent long days on the ice and even longer nights cuddling in Dean's dorm room. Fulton Reed and Adam Banks were the only ones who knew about their relationship, and they kept it a secret.

One night, as they lay in bed together, Amber brought up the topic of their relationship. "Dean, I really like you," she said, looking up at him with big, hopeful eyes.

Dean leaned down and kissed her softly, his heart racing with emotion. "I like you too, Amber," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I don't want to rush into anything, but I want to be with you. Will you be my girlfriend?"

Amber smiled, her heart swelling with love. "Yes, Dean. I would love to be your girlfriend," she said, pecking his lips sweetly.

They spent the rest of the night wrapped up in each other's arms, talking and laughing and sharing their dreams and hopes. The next morning, Amber went to Adam's dorm room and told him everything, her heart bursting with happiness.

As she walked back to her own dorm room, Amber felt like she was on top of the world. She had found love with her teammate, and nothing could bring her down. She knew that her father would be happy for her, and that the rest of the team would be supportive.

Amber Bombay, the coach's daughter, had found her place on the ice and in the arms of the man she loved.
