Sun drenched (F. Reed)

Isabella Mendoza felt the warmth of the sun on her skin as she lied down on the towel, tanning. She could hear the laughter of her teammates in the water, splashing around and having fun. Connie and Julie were lying next to her, soaking up the sun as well. Suddenly, she felt arms picking her up and opening her eyes, she saw that it was Fulton Reed carrying her towards the water.

"Amor, please let me go," she said, trying to wiggle out of his grip.

But Fulton ignored her pleas and continued to carry her towards the boys in the water. Suddenly, he threw her into the water, and Isabella came up gasping for air. She swam towards Fulton and wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs around his waist.

"I hate you sometimes, papi," she said, looking at him.

But Fulton just pecked her lips in response, and Isabella couldn't help but smile. She went back up to the sand to Connie and Julie, who had seen the whole thing.

"You two are so cute," Connie said, smiling at them.

Isabella just blushed and laid back down on the towel, tanning again. Soon, the boys came out of the water, and Fulton laid down on the towel with her. She rested her head on his shoulder, his arm around her.

She grabbed her water bottle and took a sip, sitting up slightly to look at Fulton. She playfully splashed some of the water on his face, and he sat up in shock. Isabella laughed, laying down on her stomach to tan her backside. She laid her head on Fulton's shoulder again as he and the boys talked about random stuff.

As the sun began to set, they all watched the sunset together as a hockey team, or a family. They stayed in the water, playing around until they called Bombay to take them home. Isabella and Fulton went back to his house, falling asleep wrapped in each other's arms.

"I love you, Isabella," Fulton whispered, as they drifted off to sleep.

"I love you too, Fulton," she replied, feeling content and loved in his arms.
