Portmans back (D. Portman)

Riley Conway was a talented hockey player, playing for the Ducks alongside her brother Charlie. Although they had a stepdad who had married their mom, they didn't really like him and often found themselves hanging out at Han's hockey shop, where they spent their days sharpening skates.

One day, Riley met Dean Portman and the two of them quickly became best friends. They had a special connection that was hard to explain, and they enjoyed spending time together both on and off the ice.

After winning the junior goodwill games as part of team USA, they returned to Minnesota and enrolled at Eden Hall. While everyone else went to school, Jesse and Dean decided to take a different path, which made Riley a little upset. However, she was grateful to have Dean by her side.

One day, during a hockey game, they were all in the locker room before the second half when Dean burst through the door, holding a scholarship in his hand. "Hey guys, miss me?" he asked, grinning from ear to ear. Riley looked around at the others before running to Dean and hugging him tightly.

"I had this scholarship laying around in my house in Chicago. Talked to my attorney and I signed it," Dean explained. Riley went back to her seat on the bench as the others came to hug Dean. "The bash brothers are back!" Fulton exclaimed.

After getting dressed, Dean came up to Riley and kissed her lips, asking her if she would be his girlfriend in front of the team. She said yes and kissed him again, feeling her heart flutter with excitement.

After winning the game, Dean and Riley ran to each other, embracing in a passionate kiss. They skated around with the team, cheering about their victory, but all Riley could think about was Dean.

He leaned her against the glass and kissed her deeply, telling her how much he loved her and missed her after being away from her for a few months. She felt her heart swell with emotion, knowing that she had found someone who truly cared for her.

"Dean, I love you so much," she whispered, pulling him close to her. "I never want to be without you."

He smiled at her, his eyes shining with affection. "I feel the same way, Riley. You're the best thing that ever happened to me."

From that moment on, they were inseparable. They shared everything together, from their hopes and dreams to their fears and worries. They knew that they had found true love, and nothing could ever change that.
