You waited anxiously for Dean to come home from practice, while staring at the positive pregnancy test in your hand. Your mind was racing with a million different thoughts and emotions. You were excited, scared, and nervous all at the same time. You had taken the test by yourself and hadn't even told your best friend yet.

Finally, you heard the sound of his keys in the door and your heart began to race. You took a deep breath as he walked in and smiled at you. "You're not upset or anything?" you asked, still feeling a bit uncertain.

"Upset? Why would I be upset?" he replied, his voice gentle and reassuring. "You're carrying our baby, the most precious gift in the world. I wouldn't let anything happen to you or our little one."

As he spoke, he placed a gentle hand on your belly, and you felt a rush of warmth and love wash over you. You had always known that Dean was a caring and loving partner, but in that moment, you felt it more strongly than ever before.

"I'm just so scared, Dean," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.

"I know, sweetheart. But we'll get through this together. We'll be the best parents, I promise," he said, pulling you into his arms once more.
