Damn, Fulton, I don't control karma (F. Reed)

As I walked down the street, I saw Fulton waiting for me with a big smile on his face. He wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ear, "Hey, beautiful."

"Hey, yourself," I said, grinning up at him.

We walked hand-in-hand through the park, laughing and teasing each other along the way. Fulton was always so playful, and I loved the way he could make me laugh even on my worst days.

As we sat on a bench overlooking the lake, Fulton turned to me and said, "You know, I don't believe in karma. I think that we make our own luck in this world."

I raised an eyebrow. "You don't believe in karma? What about all the bad things that happen to good people?"

Fulton shook his head. "I think that sometimes bad things happen to good people, but it's up to us to turn those bad experiences into something positive. We can't control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond to it."

I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through my chest. Fulton was so wise and caring, and I loved the way he saw the world.

We spent the rest of the day exploring the city, trying new foods, and sharing stories from our childhoods. Fulton was always so attentive, listening carefully to everything I said and offering his own insights and experiences.

As the sun began to set, we found ourselves sitting on the rooftop of a nearby building, watching the city come alive with lights.

"Damn, Fulton," I said, turning to him with a grin. "I don't control karma, but I feel like I hit the jackpot with you."

He smiled, pulling me close for a kiss. "I feel the same way," he said. "I'm so grateful for you, and I know that we're going to have a lifetime of happiness together."

I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes as I looked up at Fulton, feeling overwhelmed with love and gratitude. He was my best friend, my soulmate, and the love of my life.

As we made our way back home, I knew that no matter what the future held, I was ready to face it with Fulton by my side. Together, we could overcome anything and create our own happily ever after.
