Syd hadn't been having the best week. She'd been throwing herself into Cobra Kai more than ever, trying to find any and every reason to not think about the breakup with Eli. It had been her choice, she understood that. But that didn't stop it from killing her whenever she gave herself a moment to think about it. So, she never allowed for any time off.

Which brought Syd to a day that was meant to be a happy one, her birthday. Rather than spending the day with her brother and boyfriend, she was spending it walking into Topanga Karate alongside Tory as Sensei Silver had said he wanted his All Valley champ and biggest comeback competitor to sway students their way.

"That was a fabulous kick, Devon. But remember, we're all friends here. So watch that aggression. Okay?" The Sensei for Topanga Karate spoke, looking at the girl who was once in Eagle Fang. Syd was impressed, surprised Devon continued with karate after the tournament. "I thought she fought perfectly." Sensei Silver spoke, making the groups presence known.

Syd stood beside Tory, the two girls watching as all their official new Sensei's around them got into their positions.

"Terry, so good to see you." Topanga Karate's Sensei spoke, walking toward Sensei Silver. "Class, gather round, please. I have a bittersweet announcement to make. Sensei Terry Silver has made me a very generous offer, and I'm proud to say Topanga Karate is now under new management. We're thrilled to be part of the Cobra Kai family."

Sensei Silver nodded. "Thank you, Sensei Rosenthal. I'm sure you're all wondering what this means for the future of your dojo. Yes, there will be some changes. All for the better. And I hope you don't mind your dues getting cheaper. You'll be given a new Sensei. For today, Sensei Kim and Sensei Hyan-woo." Sensei Rosenthal walked up to Sensei Silver, confused. "You're replacing me, Terry? This wasn't the deal we made at Shabbat services."

Sensei Silver just smiled forward, ignoring the smaller man. "Topanga Karate has spent the last few years taking losses left and right. That ends today. My new Senseis will be molding you all into winners, just like our own All Valley Tournament Champion, Tory Nichols. If you wanna be taught by the best of the best, step up and take a gi from Sensei Odell. If you wanna quit, then at least take a complimentary thermos from Sensei Bacaria, as my gift to you."

Syd watched as student after student took a gi, not one of them choosing to quit as it seemed even Devon was ready to join, though she didn't take a gi. "Well, looks like your students made their decision. Shalom, Sensei." Sensei Silver spoke to Sensei Rosenthal, turning to Sensei's Kim and Hyan-woo. "Class is yours. Nichols, McKinley, you're with me."

The two girls went to move, immediately being stopped by Sensei Kim. "No. Your champion and your highly praised stay here." Tory looked at the woman confused, giving Syd a look as well who just shrugged. "What for?" Tory questioned. "I need to see who the best fighters are in this dojo. You two will help me test them." Sensei Kim decided. "Yes, Sensei." Syd nodded, watching as Tory gave Sensei Silver a look. He just shrugged, looking down at the girls before walking off with the rest of the Sensei's to film a live video, letting everyone know the expansion occurring.
