It had been... sudden. The news came fast and suddenly both Miguel and Sensei Lawrence were on their way back home, leaving the competition. Miguel had said something happened with his mom, something with the baby. And so, it made complete sense for him to go home. There was no competition more important than his mom and little sibling.

But, that left everyone else to try and figure out what to do with the boys (along with one of their senseis) sudden absence. Miguel had been fighting better than anyone and losing him would be a major blow.

Syd paced around the boys room, everyone grouping together to figure out their next move. The days competition was over, so they didn't have to worry till tomorrow, but it was better to be ready for anything.

"We can't just sit in here all night. I'm already getting anxious just looking at Syd." Devon noted, eyes glued to Syd as the girls pacing didn't stop. "Maybe we should just all try and calm down." Demetri added, sending Eli a look to tell the boy to calm his girlfriend down.

Eli just sent his own look back Demetri's way, very aware that the girl was anxious for much more than just Miguel having to leave.

"Maybe we just need a night to take our minds off things. Finally see the town." Sam offered, looking between everyone cautiously. She was more nervous for Miguel than anyone, but she knew he'd want them to stay on the high of staying in the competition, with or without him.

Eli nodded, standing up from his bed and wrapping an arm around Syds shoulders, forcing the girl to stop in her tracks. "I think that's a great idea. I can go talk to one of the Senseis and see what they think."

"That sounds great." Sam nodded, smiling. Eli nodded back, almost beginning to bounce as he quickly ran out. Even though they'd lost Sensei Lawrence, the team luckily had Sensei Toguchi to step in with Mr. LaRusso, making the switch feel a bit easier.

Syd frowned, biting down on her lip. She didn't know how great of an idea going out was, very aware of how much could go down in a night.

"Hey. Don't worry about it, we'll all have fun." Devon smiled lightly, standing beside Syd and pulling her into a side hug. Syd smiled lightly, nodding, "Yeah, okay."

There was no point in worrying about problems for the next day, all she could do now was try to enjoy the time she still had in Barcelona with her friends and her boyfriend. For one night they wouldn't be competitors, just friends.

After a few minutes Eli ran back in excitedly, looking around the room. "Sensei Chozen said to hit the town hard!" He was met with excited responses as everyone moved to grab what they needed, ready to head out.

Syd moved beside Robby, smiling lightly as she nudged his side. "You up for a night out?" He turned to look at her, shrugging. "Can't be worse than staying in, right?"
