"Where...is ...she"

        ******A Hour Before******
    Sally just put the girls to bed, she heard Connor in the shower so she went downstairs to decompress. Sally went out to the pool she sat on the edge taking in the peace and quiet. Sally pulled out her phone looking through the photos of her and Adam. She came across one that she remembered Adam taking. It was a selfie,Sally was laying on the grass, Adam laying on her with his head on her stomach. Sally stared at it, she hated the angle he took it at. Sally started thinking of that memory

Sally tried reaching for the phone, Adam pulled away
"Adam give me that to me, I need to delete it. I look horrible" she said
" No" he turned to look at her "This could be your favorite picture someday" he smirked as he put in favorites
"I doubt it" she pouted
Adam slid up to her and laid on top of  her "And if I ever hear you say you look horrible again, I'll just show you just how beautiful you are" he kissed her "And I won't stop until you believe it yourself"
Sally ran her fingers through his hair "You are so blinded by love"
"What's so wrong about that" he said
Sally chuckled and rolled them over so she was on top and kissed him

Sally let her tears fell "You were right Adam" her voice broke as she ran her fingers over the photo "This is my favorite" she sighed "Oh God I thought each day was supposed to get easier. But it's not, I keep thinking about every memory you are going to be missing"she took a deep breath "I don't want to go into this next chapter without you Adam" she cried
Sally then felt someone touch her leg, she jumped then saw Adam
"I'm going crazy" she said
Adam shook his head "No you're not"he kissed her knee "Come in with me" he smiled
Sally just stared at him
"Don't make me pull you in"he said
Sally jumped in wrapping her arms around him
"Why do you keep showing up "she asked
"I'm confused as well Sal, sometimes I'm in a room I can't make out, than I'm here with you and home"he caressed her face "Sal, I need you to figure this out before it's to late"
She looked at him confused "How do you expect me to if I can't figure it out myself"
Adam pulled them under water and he pulled her close she wrapped her legs around his waist
"Sal, I can't let you give up"he rested his forehead against hers "Our love will find a way"he whispered
"Nothing is making sense Adam"she said
"I know"he said, Adam then started to hear muffled voices"I have to go, I don't want to leave but they won't let me stay" he said hugging her "I love you so much. I believe you will find the answers to find me"he started to fade
"No, not yet" she tried to pull him back to her
   Sally was brought back to reality when she heard a splash, she felt arms wrapping around her and pull her out. Sally started freaking out and hitting
"Sally stop, you are okay. It's Nick"he said trying to calm her down and getting her attention
"Where is he" Sally was frantically looking around
"Where's who, Connor he is fine, he is upstairs" he told her
"No ...no" she looked around "Where's Adam"
Nick was stunned

  Sally was out of the pool now sitting on the edge. Nick came over and wrapped a towel around her and sat beside her
"What are you doing here" she asked confused on when he arrived
"Connor called me, he got worried" he told her
Sally realized "Oh no" she ran her hands through her wet hair "Are my kids okay" she asked
"They are fine, Connor is in his room. Mazie and Hadley are asleep. I'm more worried about you"
Sally tried shaking it off "I'm fine Nick, I had a bad moment"she wrapped her towel around herself
"Sally I would accept that answer if this was the first time, I caught you spacing out"
"It was nothing, I got lost in thinking of Adam"
"So lost you didn't Connor call for you, you were so lost that when I got here, it didn't look good, and when I got you out, you were looking for Adam"
Sally got up "Thanks for coming" she didn't want to talk about this. She started walking back in the house
Nick followed "Sally, I know losing Adam is hard on you. You can talk to me about it"
"You" she chuckled "You didn't like your brother, so why would I talk to you about what's going on"she thought a second "To trap me, I tell you I'm seeing my dead husband so you Newman's can take my kids from me"
Nick step forward "Sally I promise that's not what would happen"
"I don't believe you" she crossed her arms "Did you and your sister come up this plan to haunt me"
"No, why would say that"he asked
"I heard her, say something about not finding a body" she looked at him
"I'm sorry you heard it that way, but Sally that car was so totaled so of course there would be no body" he looked around "Where's your sister tonight. I thought she was staying with you"
"She is,I just wanted one normal night with my kids alone"she plopped down on the couch "I guess we'll never be normal again" she said
Nick didn't say anything, he sat on the coffee table in front of her
"Sally, you can let it out"
"It's been almost a month since and all I do is miss him. I can't sleep. I just lay there imagining him holding me, sometimes I feel him. And I try to be the mom my kids need they are so young, the deserve happiness from me"she said as tears fell "All while I'm missing that part of me"
"That's the grief, it's not pretty" he told her
"But" she started saying then stopped
"But what Sally" he leaned closer
"Sometimes, I see him" she said looking at her wedding ring " And it's like he is still here some how"
"He'll always be with you and the kids" he said
Sally shook her head "No, I see him Nick"she looked at him dead in the eye
"You what"Nick was shocked
"It doesn't happen all the time. I hear his voice,I can feel his touch and when I see him it's so vivid"she paused "It feels real"
"Okay think you need to rest"he said
"Wow" Sally said disgusted "You say I could let it out, and now I see it. You think I'm going nuts"
"No Sally not all"he said
"Are you sure because first you find me in the pool, probably thinking the worst and now I'm confessing I'm seeing my dead husband. If someone told me that I'd think their crazy too"she started panicking "And now that you know all this, you'll definitely tell your dad and he'll do something to take Mazie and Hadley from me" she was shaking
Nick grabbed her and held her "Sally that's not gonna happen. Im on your side in this. I have been there, you're not crazy, I think your mind is trying to process everything"
Sally nodded
"Will you be alright tonight "he asked "I can call your sister"
"No, I'm fine. Think I'll change then go talk to  Connor. Then go to bed" she sounded exhausted
"Call me for anything okay" he said
She walked him to the door , he left

Sally knocked on Connor's door
"Come in" he said
Sally opened the door and saw him sitting on the bed "I'm sorry I scared you"she sighed
"Are you okay, I heard Uncle Nick screaming your name"he asked
Sally walked in his room "I should be the one asking you that"sitting on the bed
"It was weird it was like you were somewhere else"
"I know" she said softly "I had a bad moment missing your dad"she told him
"Is me being here to hard for you"he asked
Sally looked at him "Connor no, I love that you are here, and still want to come, you make it easier" she cupped his face "You remind me so much of him" she smiled "Now I know it's pretty late, do you still want me to stay for a bit"
Connor scooted over for her to sit next to him, she did and he took her hand
"So what did you and your dad do with this time"she asked "You don't have tell me"
"No, it's okay. It depend on our moods, sometimes we talk about the day,sometimes we would get silly like do shadow puppets"he told her
Sally laughed "Your dad was such a dork"
Connor nodded in agreement "I think Hadley will get that side of him" he suggested
Sally looked over "You think so"she asked
Connor nodded
"I hope you are right"she whispered

The next morning Chelsea came by to pick up Connor. Sally told her everything that happened, not the part about seeing Adam
" I will understand if don't him to come over anymore" she said all worriedly
"Sally, it's okay. I'm glad you told me, believe me I had moments like that. I totally understand. You didn't do anything to harm him"
Sally nodded " I could have though"
"No couldn't even with all this, you'd never hurt him, you'd hurt for him" she told her
Sally smiled
"I know this is probably far from your mind right now but I was thinking we could all spend Christmas together"Chelsea suggested
"I like last year"Connor said
Sally and Chelsea smiled
"Can I get back to you" Sally asked
"Of course I'll understand if you just want it to be the three of you"
"I'll see you soon Con"Sally smiled and hugged him

After they left Sally went to the girls room. She saw their smiley faces
"How are my girls"she said picking them up and bringing them over to the rocking chair
"Mommy needs to figure out what's going on" she whispered "Before she loses you two" she kissed their heads
Sally was looking around the room at the photos they had on there, one caught her eye, she got an idea
"How would my girls like to take a trip with Mommy" she said not taking her eyes off the photo

The doctor looked at the monitor, then the man in the bed. He started to open his eyes
"Welcome back" he said " We weren't sure if you'd wake up Mr. Wilson "
The man opened his eyes fully , everything began to focus for him. The beeping becoming noticeable
