"Slow down woman .. I just got you back .. I'm not rushing this"

Adam took the phone from Sally not saying a word. He then brought them to the couch still holding onto her hand
"I tried to tell you about this .."he started saying
"And what you chickened out" she replied
"We started talking about other things and I knew I couldn't tell you yet"he turned towards her "While you were away I did some thinking on what's best for our family"he said
"So what's best is .. we stop working at OUR company"she getting mad
"No.. no ..N+S is our first baby,but this family is everything to me Sally.. you are everything. So I got to thinking... we will still own the company in Genoa City.. and we will own the one here"he told her
"Wait you want to expand the company.. why"she questioned him
Adam stayed silent for a bit fidgeting with her hand "I just think.. we need a change"he looked at her "Sally we talked about moving before to Kansas"
"Ya,but that was before the girls were born, and we had Connor to consider"she told him
"True but Connor is an adult now. So it's a perfect time the kids are young enough they adjust to California"
"When would we move Adam"she asked
"In a few weeks"
"WEEKS"she was in shock "How did you even come about the expansion so fast"
"Well.. we don't have building quite yet .. so we do our work remotely until we find one. I mean your fashion line will do great out here .. great competition for Forester"Adam was rambling
Sally stopped "Adam ..Adam stop"she said
He did and stared at her
Sally glanced over at him "What did your father do now" she asked
"What makes you think Victor did..."he started saying
"Tell me now..if you are afraid to tell me don't be"she squeezed his hand "I can take it"she took a deep breath
Adam looked away not saying away
Sally let go of his hand and looked down at the ground "He has a problem with me..again"she looked at him "Doesn't he"
Adam slowly nodded "He is stubborn you know that. It's his way or no way"he rubbed his face and groaned "When he found out you left and took Wes..."
"Let me guess... he wanted me arrested for kidnapping"she said
"Something like that"he sighed "And he wouldn't stop telling me to get custody of the kids"he grabbed her hand and moved in closer to her "I stood up to him .. so did Nikki. You know I'd never take the kids away from you" he added
"So what .. you want to move.."
"Yes I do Sally..."
Sally stood up "Adam I didn't do this for you to decide to move"
Adam stood up with her and placed his hands on her shoulders "I know you didn't .. this is all me Sal."
Sally turned away and went to the pictures on the shelf "What about the girls...Adam we can't spring this on them right when they get home "Hey girls while you were at camp daddy moved us". That's fair to them. Also their home is Genoa City, we would be taking them away from their family.They don't have family here"she said
"Okay you have a point.."he said "But Sally some of that family attacked their mother. I won't stand for that" he began to pace "Sal, this ordeal opened my eyes.."he said
"To what you pick nut case for a wife"she chuckled
Adam shook his head "Don't ever say that about yourself again" he said "No it opened my eyes to the family you choose and create is more important than the family you are born into"he stated
Sally had tears in her eyes "Well I agree"she gripped his shirt "Choosing you Adam Newman was the best choice I made"she said softly
"So Sally .. do you want to make this move"he asked
She let go of his shirt "I want to talk to the girls first .. I mean it's big change, they just got a new brother I just don't want to overwhelm them" she said
"Okay, that sounds good to me"he said
Sally smiled and came up and hugged him, sighing.Adam held her
"Now what do we do"she smirked up at him
Adam went over and grabbed his phone
"Are you calling Nick .. cause that's not what I was talking about"she was rambling
"Hold your horses Spectra"he laughed
"Follow You, Follow Me" started playing
Sally smiled and shook her head "Our song"she said softly
"Yes.."he took her hands and pulled her close and began to dance with her "It came on the radio the day after you left.. as I was going to Kansas" he proceeded to tell her
Sally pulled away  to look at him "Wait hold on a second you go to Kansas the day after your wife leaves you.. what happened if I died you what fly to Paris"she asked sarcastically
"Ha ha"he chuckled "I had to find you"he said softly "It's where you went before .. so I thought maybe.."he paused "Then I thought Kansas is my place"he looked around "California is yours"
Sally gave him a smile "But you didn't come to California when you realized why, I mean you take off to Kansas"she asked
Adam took a deep breath and nodded "You were in good hands.. even if they weren't mine"he looked at the hand clasped together. He looked back up "I really hope you weren't too mad at him"
Sally looked down for a second "In the moment I was" she looked at him "I realized he was doing what was right ...even if I was struggling I had no right keeping you from seeing Wes. I just was to focused on me"
Adam glanced away, Sally's followed him
"Adam what is it"
"I'm sorry if you ever regretted Wes"he slowly told her
"Adam.."Sally was stunned "I never regretted our son.. not for a moment.Why would even think that" she asked
Adam caressed her cheek "Because I brought up us having another baby and I kept thinking while you were gone. If we didn't have a baby you wouldn't be suffering"
Sally placed her hand on his "Adam I'm so sorry you felt this way"she said softly "It was his birth and everything after that played a part .. not our son"she said then gently kissed him
   Adam let go of her other hand and cupped her face then deepened the kiss, walking the over to the couch. Sally pulled him down on top of her. Adam's hands were moving all over her body
Sally began to unbutton his shirt, breathing heavily. Adam pulled away
"Are you sure" he asked
"Yes"she whispered
Adam didn't waste any time, their shirts were off and on the floor. Sally sat them up and straddling him, his hands on her back. He began kissing down her neck. He heard her moan and he smiled into her
"I missed that sound" he said with a little chuckle
"I missed you"she ran her hands in his hair "Now are we going to make love or what"she asked as she began kissing his neck
"Slow down woman .. I just got you back .. I'm not rushing this" he picked her up bridal style
Then laid her down and they made love like their was no tomorrow

They were laying on the bed, Adam was laying on Sally her arms wrapped around him slowly stroking her fingers tips along his arm. Adam then began placing kisses on her palm
He turned over his arms wrapped around her. Sally looked at him lovingly
"What's that look for, can't get enough of your sexy husband"he smirked
Sally giggled then she said softly "I just want to thank you for not giving up on me"she said all choked up
"I couldn't even if I tried Sal"he kissed her stomach. He then sat up and took her left hand "Do you see this ring"he showed her her wedding ring "This is your reminder that .. this .. us it's Forever" he kissed her hand "I love you too much, I was lost without you"he moved up onto of her "I don't want to go through life without by my side"
Sally smiled at him "Same"she whispered then pulled him to kiss him
"Are you up for another round"he asked
"Sure"she turned them over so she was on top "But I get to lead this time"

The next morning they were still in bed wrapped up in each other's arms. Sally opened her eyes first. She took in being back in Adam's arms. Sally gently ran her fingers tips along his arm that was draped over her
"You can't let me sleep in after last night" he mumbled in his sleep
Sally started laughing "Hey it's not my fault you're a light sleeper"
Adam reached over and kissed her neck. "You know I used be"he muttered
Sally turned over and was about to his him but Wes's crying interrupted them. They both laughed
"Our boy is up" she said softly she buried her face in the crook of his neck and moaned
"Go"she looked up at him "It's been too long since you greeted him in the morning"she said
Adam nodded and got out of bed and put his clothes on "Be back" he said quickly kissing her then left
Sally sat up and hugged her legs against her chest. Listening to the him on the monitor
"Good morning biscuit"he said "Did you have a good sleep.I know daddy did"he told him
Sally lightly chuckled knowing what he was referring too
Adam returned after a few minutes smiling at her
"Say good morning to mommy and tell her you are all changed"he said coming over to her side
Sally smiled "Morning my baby" she reached for him
Adam handed him to her, then laying on his stomach in front of her. He watched as Wes laid on her curled up into her and she placed kisses on his head
Sally looked at him "Why you staring" she said
"You holding our son.. this glow you have..I realized it wasn't there before"he rubbed her arm
Sally glanced down at Wes "It shows you how powerful our minds are"she looked at him "You know.. it made me not see or feel things I so desperately wanted"she took a deep breath "It scared me Adam" she was rubbing Wes's back
"How so"he asked
"I love our kids Adam.."she said
"I know you do.."he started saying
"I'm not finished.. I love our kids.. but as I was trying to understand what was going on .. there was second there I thought I was like Helen"
"Oh honey" he came up to her "The only thing you have of that woman is part of her dna"
"I thought maybe this is why she couldn't be a mom to us"she laid her head on Wes's "But I remembered what she did to us.. so"
"Look at him in your arms.. like Haddie .. he mama's boy. It just took some time" he kissed her
Wes began to fuss, Sally looked down
"He is hungry.. but I don't want to leave this moment.. with you"she said
"Hey" he nuzzled her cheek "I'm not going anywhere and you're not going anywhere again"
Sally lightly shook her head
"So let's go feed our growing boy and start our day together " he took him from her "But first mommy needs to put clothes" he giggled to Wes

They were making breakfast.. Adam was holding Wes as he made the eggs.
Sally looked at him
"You look really hot in dad mode" she leaned against the counter smiling at Wes
"Stop flirting with me"he pointed the spatula at her
"You just want me to stop because you can't do anything because your holding him" she stuck her tongue out and went to set the table
The next thing she felt a piece of cheese hit her shoulder. She turned back and playfully glared
"Oh you.."she chuckled
"What it was him" he point to Wes
Sally pretend to scold him "Oh Wesley I should yell at you but wow you have some arm for a three month old"she came over to them
"What can I say our son is talented"
"Or his daddy is still a big kid" she kissed Wes then looked at Adam
"You love me"he leaned close to her
Sally went into kiss him but stop and walked away
"That's mean" he said all sad
"Well so is throwing food at your wife" she teased
The door bell rang, Sally looked over at the direction
"That's probably my brother" he told her coming over and placing Wes in his chair
"Wait Nick is here" she asked
"Ya he offered to fly down with me.."he said going too answer the door
"Can I help you"he greeted
Sally came over and saw who it was "Cindy.. what brings you by"then is it hit her "Oh my session" she said.
"Yes..when you didn't show are answer my texts I thought I drop by" she said looking back at Adam
"I'm so sorry"Sally smiled at Adam "As you can see Adam is here. Cindy this my husband, Adam this my therapist Cindy"she introduced them
"Nice to meet you"he shook her hand
"You too, Sally talked fondly of you"she smiled
"Cindy why don't you come join us breakfast. I can bring you up to speed" Sally told her

They were all sitting at the table, Adam feeding Wes. As Sally told Cindy what had happened since seeing her. Cindy was pleased with this turn around with Sally
"I told you something would click and you'd figure it out"she smiled
Sally smiled at Adam "Ya you did, I just never thought it would be that."
"We suppress traumatic things Sally .. you are well aware of that. Your mind was protecting while everything else inside you wanted that connection. Looking at you now compared to first meeting I'm impressed with the improvement"
"Well I can't thank you enough I don't know if I'd be at this place if I had another therapist" Sally said
"I want to thank you as well"Adam said "Because of you I see woman I'm in love with"he then looked at Sally "And you I'm so proud of you.. for over coming this"he took her hand
The door bell rang again
"That's got to be my brother" he chuckled
"I'll get it"Sally said getting up placed a kiss on the side Adam's head and went to the door
"Hello Nick"she greeted him
"Hi Sally, it's good to see you" he said
"You too"she stepped aside "Come in" she told him
Cindy was getting up "I'm gonna go. I hope you keep in touch and if you need anything you know you can call me"
Sally smiled "I know thank you" she hugged her goodbye

Nick walked over to where his brother and nephew were
"Hey Wes"he gave him a little fist pump "So how are things going" he asked looking between them
"Better" Sally said coming in after him and going over to Adam and wrapping her arms around his neck "Adam told me about his plan with the company" she came out and said it
"I hope you aren't mad" Nick said sitting down
"I'm just a little stunned ..and concerned"
"Because of our father"Nick told her "I understand and I want to promise I'm only running the GC location you guys are full control"
Sally looked down at Adam "Thank, I get where Adam is coming from I do"
"He loves you Sally .. and honestly I applaud him" he looked at Adam "You have become this great man who puts his family first with out being controlling"
Adam placed his hand on Sally's arm "She makes it easy. Sally wants to talk to girls first before we officially find a building"
"Of course..in case you decide I did look into places here for you guys"he held up his hands "Only making it easier for you considering how fast you decided" he said
"I want to do it"Sally said
Both and Adam looked at her confused
"Sally, we don't have decide right now.. let's talk to the girls like you want and go from there" Adam
"We will, but Adam you wouldn't prematurely make a decision like this if you didn't think it was right"she bent down next to him and smiled "It feels right"
