     The next morning Sally woke up to find Adam's side of the bed empty. Panic set in
"Ad...Adam"she called out looking around. She jumped out of bed Ana ran out
   Sally started to frantically look in wack room upstairs "No no no"she kept repeating. She started to cry "Adam" she screamed
   As she was running to the stairs,Adam came up then as fast as he could
"Sally"he said
   Sally went into his arms "I thought I dreamt it, I thought it wasn't real that you were actually" her voice was breaking
Adam was stroking her face "Shh,I'm right here"he said softly and pulled her into a hug "I'm sorry I scared you" he was running his hands through her hair
   They  pulled away and sat on the step
"I couldn't sleep, so I went downstairs" he told her
Sally calmed down and took his hand "I hate feeling like this,like I'll wake up and"
"I know.. it's still new and surreal"he leaned into her "But we can't let you get so work up"he smiled "We have this new little nugget to think about" he leaned into her
Sally smiled then hugged him tight "Don't ever leave again"she said into him

     Adam answered the door and saw Victor on the other side
"Happy to see me Pops"he said
Victor just embraced him in a hug
Sally came down with the girls, Adam came over and took Hadley from her
Victor looked at Sally " My apologizes on not believing you"he told her
  Sally just nodded and adjusted Mazie on her hip a little. Avoiding eye contact
Adam could sense something was up but decided to not bring it up just yet
"So are you going to tell me how all this happened"Victor asked
Adam gestured for them to go into the next room "Come on"he told him

Victor was furious after hearing the story
"You mean to tell me no one knew who you were"he said
"No, I didn't have my original license so who they thought I was wasn't really me"
"So what ever happened to that Helen woman. Is she dead or alive" he asked
Adam felt Sally tense up next to him, he placed his hand on her thigh and rubbed it
"I don't know Dad, the last thing I remember about her I was driving and then everything went black" he told him
"But like you, we never found a body"she started "So she um..could still be... out there"Sally started to panic
Adam turned to her "Sal, we are safe okay" he kissed her forehead "I'm back and we don't need to worry about her right now" he said rubbing her shoulder
Sally just nodded
"It's a good thing Adam is back"Victor mumbled
Both Adam and Sally looked at him, before Adam could say anything Sally felt like she was gonna be sick
"Excuse me" she said before running out
Adam turned back to his father "Look I don't what your deal is with Sally, I'll find out soon enough but right now my main goal is keeping her safe and you better make sure Helen is long gone"Adam told Victor
Victor stood up "Fine, just as long as you keep an eye on your wife"he said then leaving

Sally came back down to find Victor gone. Adam was sitting with the girls
"Victor left" she asked
"He had a meeting or something" he told her
Sally nodded and avoided eye contact
"You okay" Adam asked
"Ya" she gave him a small smile "Are you hungry"she asked walking into the kitchen
Adam followed "Sally, what is going with you"he asked "Is it the baby" he got worried
"No, the baby is fine.. so am I" she told him
Adam believed the baby was fine but he wasn't buying she was
Sally quickly made a sandwich
"After we eat, what would you like to do" she tried to change the subject
Adam watched her, he came up to her put his hand on hers to stop her
"Sally, please talk to me"he said
"There's nothing to talk about okay" she gave him a quick kiss and smiled "We can have Connor come over, you two have lost time to make up for"she suggested
"Maybe later, I'd like to go into the office" he told her
Sally shook her head
"What is that for" he was confused
"Typical Newman always work on the brain"she laughed "I wonder how you function as Alex" she smiled
Adam pulled her into him "I was more focused on who you were then anything else"
Sally smiled she wrapped her arms around his neck "Fine, we can go into the office" she pointed her finger at him "But..you are only there to see the place not work.. got it"she told him
"Yes Doctor" he kissed her

Adam and Sally arrived at the office, Sally was pushing the stroller she saw Adam's face light up
"Did you miss this place" she asked
"What, no not as much as I missed you" he smiled
Sally laughed "Nice try, I can see it in your face"she looked at the girls "You know I haven't been here since.." she looked at the spot she saw him standing before
"Sal, are you okay"he saw her looking off
"Just thinking, I came here after you "died" to distract me from my grief and to try to not lose this company"
"Sally, you know I wouldn't have cared if you didn't continue with N+S"
Sally nodded " I know but this place" she looked at the window "I couldn't risk losing this too"
Adam gave her a questionable look "Sally what do you mean"he asked
Before she could continue, Audra walked in surprised
"Oh, the rumors are true"Audra smiled
Both Adam and Sally smiled at each other
Audra looked at Sally "It's so good to see you Adam and Sally you seem like yourself again"she smiled
"Thank you it's so good to be next to this one again" he put his arm around Sally
Sally moved a piece of hair out of her face "So how are things here" she asked
"Good, don't you two worry N+S will be here when you two come back" she told them

Adam was sitting at his desk, while took the girls to daycare for a little while. He was looking at pictures of them on his desk when Nick walked in
"Oh, I didn't expect to see you here" Nick said standing at the door
"Same"Adam responded
"Ya, we are holding down the fort and helping out Audra for Sally"Nick told him
"We"Adam questioned
"Yes, me and mom" Nick informed him
"Wait Nikki is helping out, why would she do that" he was shocked
"For Sally, she has been there for her"he told him
Adam nodded "Well I'm glad she had someone" he said staring at her picture "Um Nick, can I asked you something"
"Shoot" Nick said coming in
"Can you be honest with me and tell me how bad it was for Sally. They you all keep refusing to tell me and deflecting it. I know something happened"he said
Nick sat down "Are you sure you don't want to ask Sally herself" Nick asked
"Sally wouldn't say anything to me, she kept changing the subject. That's how I know it's bad"
Nick sighed "In the beginning it wasn't anything alarming, she coped normally. The time she came into the office, that's when I noticed she wasn't okay" he said
"She told me she afraid the company would be taken from her and it would be like losing you all over again"
Adam nodded "She did mention that when we came in. Is that all"he asked
Nick looked down
"What else happened Nick"he asked
"The night she informed me she was seeing you was probably the worst I have seen her. I won't go into the details that's for Sally to do, but Adam she was terrified Dad would take the girls from her"he told his brother
Sally walked in not realizing Nick was there "The girls were so happy to see Stacey...."she finally saw and there faces "What is going on"she asked looking between both of them
Nick got up "I'll give you two privacy" he said patting Sally's shoulder as he walked by
Sally looked at the door then back at Adam "What just happened" she asked
Adam got up and came up to her "I'm so sorry" he said softly
"Why" she was so confused
"Because of what you went through, Nick was telling me.."
Sally started to freak out "Adam it was nothing"she stepped aside "Nick thought the worst when found me in the pool"
Adam have her a looked "The pool"he said
Sally looked back at him "He didn't tell you that part" she asked
"No, he wanted it to come from you" he told her
"I was seeing Adam, my mind was on you" she started to cry "I just found out I was pregnant"she placed her hands on her stomach "I was so numb, but I wouldn't have.. I wasn't going to"she started shaking
Adam came up and pulled her by the waist into him "Come here" he held her tight "You were in so much pain" he said softly
Sally cried into him "I lost my strength when I lost you"
"I know" he rocked her "Nick also told me about your fear of my Dad taking the girls"he said
"He would have Adam, so I left"
They pulled away
"I'm going to talk to him, and let him have it" he told her
Sally shook her head "Don't you are back now, it's not important" she told him
"I know, but he had no right..."
Sally's phone went off, she looked at it "Crap"she said
"What is it" he asked
"I forgot I made a doctors appointment for the baby"she told him
"Alright, let's get the girls and go"he said all excited
"No, I'm dropping you off, you need to rest" she told him
"I'll rest after. I'm not missing a moment of this pregnancy Sally" he told her
"It's the boring appointment, you can come next time" she smiled
"Fine" he took her hand and kissed it

Sally left the appointment and walked in the park, she sat down processing the appointment
"You are real" she smiled looking at the sonogram"I told Daddy not to come because I didn't want to disappoint him if you weren't real" she sighed "But there you are little one"she giggled "We'll come up with a special nickname for you" she rested against the bench end placed her hand on her stomach "I can't wait to see who you are"

Sally entered the house and found Coco was there
"Hello Coco, this is a surprise"she greeted her
"Hello sis, I came to make sure you were okay, since you left in the middle of the night"
Sally looked down "I'm sure Adam filled you in on everything" she smiled at him
"Yes, it's quite a story" she said
"You can say that again"Sally kissed Adam's head
Adam wrapped his arm around her waist "Everything go okay" he asked giving her a look
Sally nodded and smiled "We will talk later" she softly said
Coco started talking again "So, do we know what happened to Mom"
The word mom triggered something in Sally "She is gone okay and she is not Mom Coco" she yelled at her
Coco was startled "Okay, I'm sorry. It's just I never got to see her" Coco said
"Consider yourself lucky, I wish I never had" Sally ran off
They both watched her leave, Adam was concerned for many reasons
"I didn't mean to upset her"Coco said
"I know you didn't Coco, she is processing everything. Give her some time" he told her
"I should get going, call me if you two need anything" she smiled

Adam found Sally in the kitchen making tea. Sally turned and saw him in the doorway she flipped out
"I can't believe after everything that woman has done to us, she still is calling her Mom"she groaned and slammed the tea kettle down
Adam walked over to her "You know your sister didn't mean to upset you Sal"
Sally looked at him "She should know, Adam just the thought of Helen upsets me. She is the reason I almost lost you, she tortured us"she said
Adam stood there letting her vent
"Coco is so lucky Adam, because she doesn't have these memories of her.."she said
Adam placed his hand on her shoulder "Just breathe, she can't hurt us anymore" he kissed her cheek "I know how about we talk about this baby" he smiled
Sally smiled back "That reminds me" she ran to grab the sonogram. She came back in "Wanna see our baby"she asked
"I thought you said this was the boring one" he raised his eyebrow at her
"Don't be mad at me, I lied" she told him
"Why would you do that" he asked
"Because I was afraid that .. I wasn't pregnant and I didn't want to disappoint you, I'm sorry" she said
"I could never be mad at you Sally, but you shouldn't have to go alone. I'm your husband now, I want to be there for you always" he said softly
Sally nodded "So do Roy want to see this baby or what" she laughed
"Give it to me" he reached for it
Sally handed it to him and leaned against the counter
"Look at our baby" he smiled so big "It says you are eight weeks"
Sally looked at it "Ya, I probably would've figured it out sooner if I wasn't confusing it with grief" she said
Adam placed his hands on each side of her and kissed her "I love you" he smirked
