"Look biscuit it's daddy. I told you he was coming"

It was early in the morning and Sally was laying on the bed with Wes by her side, he was wide awake wiggling
"How are you not tired"Sally giggled "Are toy just excited for daddy"she smiled
Sally rested her hand on her chin gazing at her son "Oh Wes, how is it that it took a overwhelming moment for it to click for me..huh" she sighed. She rolled on her stomach laying close giving him kisses "Look at those rolls" she gushed "You really are like a biscuit" she giggled "Oh baby I'm so sorry for not being the mommy you needed in the beginning"she ran her fingers along his cheek "But I'm here now.. yes I am" she kissed him
Sally rolled over and brought Wes with her "Look at you, you have my eyes, yes you do" she chuckled "But you have daddy's chin"she kissed it "I'm glad about that" she whispered.
She then held him close running her fingers softly along his back and watched the sun come up

When Adam got off the phone with Sally he quickly grabbed a couple things. As his mind was all over the place thinking of a lot of things. He called his brother. Asking him to stand in at N+S while he drove to LA, Nick suggest he'd take the jet instead
So when he showed up at the airport an hour later he wasn't expecting to see his brother there
"Nick, you didn't need to come"he said placing hi bag in the compartment
"I know, when you called you sounded really anxious and knowing you it's not good to travel alone. I know how badly you want to get to her"he told him
"Thanks"he sat down "Actually I'm kind of glad to have some time with you. After dealing with dad last night I made a decision that I need your help with"he said
"We let's hear it" he smiled

Later on in the morning, Sally was to anxious to sleep so she decided to clean the house and start on lunch. Wes was in his swing after he was fed. Sally was talking to him as she did her thing
"You love that thing don't you" she chuckled "When we go home mommy will swing you on our swing set" she put her index finger to her lips "Shhh don't tell your sisters" she giggled
Just then the doorbell rang, Sally looked at the door confused
"It's to soon for daddy"she said heading to the door "I wonder who it is" she opened the door "Wyatt" she looked shocked
He held up his hands "I know you probably don't want to see me after last night ... but Sally I need to come check on you before going to work.. "he was struggling to get the words out
Sally dropped her shoulders and sighed then came up and hugged him
"Are you hugging me me before you kill me" he asked confused
Sally pulled away and giggled "No, if you have time I'd like to say some things"she asked
"I have some time" he told her "Got any coffee" he asked
"Yes, but not what you like" she moved aside and closing the door
Wyatt watched her, she turned around giving him a confused look
"Why are you looking at me like that" she asked
"I don't you just seem .. different since last night"he said
"Oh how so" she said heading to the couch
"You don't have this dark cloud over you.. and there's something in your eyes"he said
Sally glanced over at Wes "Ya, last night something happened"she sighed "Wes had a fussy night that turned into an overwhelming night for me"she looked at Wyatt "I almost called you" she added
Wyatt came over and sat down "You could have.. but you probably were too mad to do it right"he asked
Sally shook her head "No, not exactly. I actually remember when my daughter Mazie  had a similar moment and the only thing that calmed her was the shower"she laughed "So I tried it with him and worked" she looked back at Wes
"So this moment is the cause the new Sally" he asked
"Kind of .."she paused "While was soothing him..I said something I said to him when I was pregnant and in labor with him and it triggered everything Wyatt" she said "I know why now"
"Oh Sally.. I'm happy for you"
"Thanks, I'm just glad that this nightmare is almost over"she looked at her wedding ring " I called Adam as was having my breakdown/ realization. He is coming" she smiled
Wyatt reached over and took her hand "This is great news"he smiled
Sally began to fidget with her ring taking a couple deep breaths
"I thought you'd be more excited what's going on you nervous"he asked
Sally nodded "I mean it's been a couple months, I know it's not long but at the same time it feels like eternity. I have a lot of explaining and apologizes to make it's not easy"she said
"The good news with that is Adam will listen and love you no matter what so there nothing to me scare about"
"I'm aware.. but I'm not just talking about Adam" she looked at Wyatt
Wyatt shook his head "Sally, you don't have to it's fine"he said
"It's not fine. I was out of line last night. You didn't deserve that especially with everything you did. You went out of your way to be here for me"she smiled "You had Wes visit with his father.. something I wish I was able to do.. so thank you.After everything I don't deserve your kindness"
"Hey, that's ancient history. I forgave you. I honestly could have treated you better back than"he looked at Wes "But think about it Sally, if things worked out with us .. you wouldn't have that little boy or your girls" he said
Sally got up and picked up Wes and kissed his cheek "You and your sisters are the best things to happen to me"

    Adam showed Nick what he had in mind
"And you thought about this as soon as Sally called"Nick said
"No when dad left" he chuckled "So what do you think.. you on board with this" he asked
"Are you sure about this .. you don't think your doing this to quickly"he added
"No,and before you ask ... I'm not doing this to get back at dad"
"I get it but after everything she's been through do you honestly think this is the best idea"
"It has to be. Dad won't lighten up on Sally I'm sure of it.I need to put her first and by doing that this has to happen" he said
"But the company is important to her as well. Shouldn't she get a say... I hate to say it but this is something dad would do"he asked
Adam nodded in agreement "You're right but Nick you know how I feel about her and my family dad doesn't get it he never will"he say back "I can't bring her back to that environment"he sounded so defeated
Nick sighed "I support you on this and I'm in.. but some advice though. When you see her be gentle.. she may have seemed like herself but seeing her could be a different story"he told him
Adam nodded "Thanks"

   Wyatt and Sally were still talking after Sally put Wes down for his nap
"Aren't you supposed to be at work"she asked
"I actually have the day off..I only told you I was going to work incase you didn't want to see me"
Sally smiled "So, how are you"she asked "I mean we focus on me this whole time. What's new with Wyatt Spencer"
"Same job nothing new there" " I see Miss Spectra is back in fashion.. happy for you. You got everything you wanted"he told her
"We were supposed to be talking about you" she chuckled
There was a knock on the door.Sally looked up
"I think I know who that is"Wyatt stood up
Sally smiled and hurried to the door. When her eyes landed on Adam her heart skipped a beat
"Who knocks at their own house" she laughed
"If I just walked in I would have missed seeing that reaction" he gave her a smile
Sally ran into his arms wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.Adam wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, taking in her scent
"I'm so sorry for everything" she said into him
"Shh"he said running his fingers through her hair "No I'm the one who is sorry" he pulled her away to look at him "I hate knowing how badly you were suffering. You were in so much emotional pain"he cupped her face
Sally leaned her forehead against his "But I caused you pain..from my pain"she said
Adam was stroking his thumbs along her cheeks "Listen we don't need to talk about everything right now" he whispered "Right now .. i just want to .. hold you" he cried
Adam then saw Wyatt come around the corner "Oh did you have therapy today"he asked looking between her and him
"No, Wyatt just came by to .. check on me after our fight"she said leaning into Adam
Adam rubbed Sally's back "Look, I can't thank you enough for helping her"he kissed her head
"You are both welcome.  I'm glad I was able to. Also Adam your son he is one adorable baby"he smiled
"Well thanks he gets it all from his mother"he smiled at her
"Well now that you are here I'll leave two alone to reconnect"he passed by Sally "Talk soon" he waved then left

   Sally was pacing awkwardly around the living room.Adam watched her. They haven't spoken since Wyatt left
"Sal, it's me you don't have to be nervous"he told her
Sally looked at him "This isn't nervous..it's shame"she looked down
"Sally there's nothing to be ashamed about"he said
"Adam, thanks but there is...I took your son.. I ran away from my problems that wasn't right"she stood there
Adam came up to her "Look at me"he took her hands
Sally slowly looked up at him with tears forming in her eyes
"Was I mad at how I found out .. yes.You taking Wes hurt for sure, but I realized you were hurting a lot more"he took a deep breath
"I have a confession to make Adam"she said pulling her hands away and sat down on the couch "When I decided the best thing for me to do was leave .."she looked over at him "I wasn't planning on taking Wes"her voice was breaking
"So you were planning on leaving me.. like actually walk away from our marriage and kids"he said trying to hold it together
"I.. don't know Adam.."she was struggling "When I saw you talking to Sharon about me.. something snapped and I changed my mind"she told him
Adam came over to her and sat beside her "I have to apologize I shouldn't have involved her"he said
Sally shook her head and took his hand "Don't apologize with you doing that it helped realize that.. I had postpartum depression and I wasn't just a bad mom" she said
Adam squeezed her hand "You Sally Newman are not a bad mom... why would that even cross your mind" he asked softly
"A lot of things actually.. one bad thought after another"she wiped her tears "Can we table this for now .. I know you deserve a conversation but.."
"Of course"he was stroking his thumb along her cheek "I just want to say one more thing"he scooted closer "You are the best mom to my children"
Wes started crying, Sally chuckled
"Perfect timing, your son is awake"she smiled "Go get him"she gestured towards the stairs
Adam smiled and stood up heading over to the staircase then stopped
"Adam.. why did you stop."she asked
He came back over and reached for her head "We do this together" he told her softly
Sally hesitated for a second but placed her hand in his, he guided them to Wes's room

Once they reached his room Sally let go of his hand, Adam looked back
"Go"she whispered "Have your reunion with your son"she told him leaning against the door smiling
Adam slowly made his way to Wes he had huge smile on his face when he saw Wes
"Hey Wes"he said all excited picking him up "Did you have a nice nap"he gave him a bunch of kisses "Oh I missed you" he said
Sally made her way to them "Look biscuit it's daddy. I told you he was coming"she said resting her chin on Adam's shoulder
Adam looked at her "I thought you hated that nickname"he said
Sally shook her head lightly and came in front of him "I just couldn't see what you saw."she smiled "But look at those legs.. you could just eat him up"she said pretending to eat them giggling
Adam playfully pulled away "Oh is mommy trying to eat you Wes"he gasped "Daddy will protect you" he laughed "I got you"
Sally looked at him then began to cry. This worried Adam
"Oh Sally I was only playing I didn't mean to upset you"he said rubbing her back
"No, I'm not these happy tears"she smiled up at him "I was afraid I would never get these moments"she paused "You know goofing off with him .. being us"she smiled
Adam pulled her closer to them "I knew you would"he said softly as she placed her hand on Wes

Later that evening Sally was making dinner while Adam was laying on the couch playing with Wes. Sally periodically would glance over and smile
"So how has he been, did he adjust to LA"Adam asked as he played with Wes's legs
Sally came over to them "He was great almost like he was born here" she giggled leaned over him from behind
Adam smiled at his son "Is that so Wes..are you out little beach boy"he kissed his hands
Adam brought Wes onto his chest and he curled up and was drifting off to sleep. Sally smiled
"Looks like you tired him out"she said stroking Wes's head
"Looks that way"he chuckled "I'll go bring him to his too.
Sally gave Wes a kiss "Night, night Wes"she whispered softly. She looked at Adam "Make sure you crack his window, he sleeps better hearing the waves"she told him
Adam nodded "Sure thing"he said going up the stairs
Sally let out the breath she was holding . Then went back to making dinner

When Adam returned a few minutes later he watched Sally for a few seconds, she was in her own world. He needed about telling her about N+S
"Hey Sal.."he started to say
Sally jumped
"I didn't mean to scare you" he came up to her running his hand across her back
Sally moved away "No it's okay"she went back to cooking "I guess I just got used being alone"she quickly looked at him and gave him a smile
"Oh .. you got used to being alone well I was going out of my mind cool" he nodded and walked away from her
"Adam" she said realizing she disappointed him "I'm sorry.."
He leaned across the counter and crossed his arms "Sally, I need to tell you something.."
"So do I but you can go first" she gestured to him
Adam shook his head "No,you can go"he gave her a smile
Sally nodded "Okay, it's more I need apologize for something"
Adam shook his head "Sally about leaving you don't need to apologize again. I forgive you"
Sally sighed "Well thanks, but I need to apologize for the fight we had.. the last time you saw me. I said some pretty awful things to you ... that I didn't mean"she said trying not to cry
Adam walked over to her and place his hands gently on her hips "I don't hold that against you at all"he told her trying get her eye contact "You weren't yourself" he added
"That's not an excuse Adam I still said it"she said "The one thing I regret most .. the one thing that replays in my head"she was emotional "Was what I said .. about Connor"she was shaking "I sounded like an evil stepmom"she added
Adam pulled her close and kissed her forehead
"He means everything to me. And when I saw him I felt so much guilt and I deserved that. I watch him with Wes and I know I didn't give birth to him.. but I love him like I did. I needed you you to know how sorry I was" she said "If you want me too I can't apologize to him even if he has no idea how cruel I was"
Adam hugged her to calm her down "You know when you said that .. that's when I started to realize something wasn't right"he pulled away and smiled with tears in his eyes "You and Con have that special bond, so when you said that.."he cupped her face "Not only are an amazing mom but you are also a killer stepmom"
Sally smiled

They were eating dinner,they would discuss the girls time at camp. Sally looked at Adam and could tell something was on his mind
"What's on your mind Adam"she asked taking bite of food
Adam shook his head "We have time we don't need to talk about everything we are feeling"
"No"she reached for hand "I owe your time to say things so if you need to say something.. now is the time"she said softly
Adam put his fork down and sighed "I don't mean to hurt you when I say this"he paused
Sally nodded "Adam I can take it.. what is it"
"I wish it was me"he said
"What was you"she asked confused
"That helped you through this"he told her "Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful Wyatt did what he did but..."
"I know"she whispered she rubbed his hand
She got up and picked up the plates "Adam, you have to realize you couldn't help me... not in the way you wanted to."she paused for a second "My mind was so messed up .. that I don't even know if I'd even accept you helping me"
"What to do you mean Sally"he looked at her
She looked over at him "I convinced myself... that I failed you and you wouldn't love me anymore"she said
Adam came up to her in shock about to say something but Sally continued and held up her hand
"Before you say it..I know now I didn't " she gave him a small smile
Adam rubbed her arms "I'm glad you know that now. Sally could rob a bank and I'd still love you" he got her to laugh
Sally caressed his cheek slowly "I love you more anything Adam.You did help me though, you let me figure this out on my own and my own time, even if it was killing you"
Adam looked down "But you weren't on your own Sally.. you Wyatt"his tone changed
"Hey"Sally pulled his head up to look at her "Yes Wyatt was around, but I did the work"she pulled him close "To come back to you"she whispered "Like you I would" she smiled
Adam then slowly moved towards her gently kissing her. Sally kissed him back.Adam turned her around and lifted her onto the counter, the kiss getting heated
Sally pulled him into her deepening the kiss "I missed you.. so much "she said breathless
"Not as much as I missed you" he tightened his grip on her thigh
Sally pulled away, as Adam moved to her collarbone
"You want to go up and show me"she smirked "I may even show you"
Adam smirked "Oh absolutely"he helped her off the counter
Just then Adam's phone went off, Sally pulled them back and glanced at it. Sally picked up the phone. Adam saw her the anger
"Sal, what is it"he asked coming up behind her
"Why did .. why did Nick text you saying he is officially in" she looked back at him "He's gonna run N+S" she glared at him
