"Can you answer this...did I destroy Victor and Adam's relationship"

It has been a couple weeks and Adam hired movers to move some of their things, since they decided to keep this house still. Adam and Sally decided to fly to California both of them didn't want to drive with three crazy girls and a baby. Adam was placing their suitcases in the car when Haddie came up to him
"Daddy are we still saying goodbye to Nana and Grandpa"she asked leaning against the car
"Yes Bean we are stopping over before we head to the airport" he told her then kissed the top of her head "Now hop in the car with your sisters"
Adam looked over and saw Sally she was leaning against her door of the car clutching Wes tightly, looking over at the house. He came over and stood next to her. He could tell she was a little sad, he placed his arm around her waist
"You okay" he asked softly
"I don't want to screw this up" she told him not looking at him
"Are you nervous about seeing dad again" he asked
"What" she looked over at him
"Cause if you are you don't have to be.. I'm with you" kissed the side of her head
"It's not seeing him... it's saying goodbye.. to Nikki"
Adam hugged her and rubbed her back "I know"he whispered
They pulled away, Sally gently kissing Wes's head
"Do you want me to put him in the car" he asked
"No I can do it" Sally snapped and pulled away from him heading to the car
Sally buckled Wes in "Maz you good this watching your brother til we get to the airport" she asked
"Yes Mommy"she smiled
"You are such a good big sister" Adam said from the other side and kissed her forehead
"Haddie and Eden you good with watching Benny" Adam pointed at them
"Yes" they both said
"But daddy where Bentley gonna be when we are are on the plane"Eden asked
"With us" he smiled "Since its a private plane he gets to be with us"
"Perks of being a Newman" Sally said adjusting Wes's strap
Adam gave her a look then shut the door
He and Sally hopped in and he immediately took her hand. Sally looked down then over at him
"We are doing what is best for us.. for this family" he said stroking his thumb along her knuckles
Sally gave him a small smile but didn't say anything back
"Alright say bye bye house" he said starting the car
They all waved as he drove away

They were sitting in the living room at the ranch. The girls sitting on the floor in front of Adam and Sally playing with their new dolls Nikki got them
Nikki was sitting on the couch with them holding Wes "I also got the girls some activity books for the plane" she told them playing with Wes's toy
"What do you say girls"Adam said
"Thanks Nana and Grandpa"they all smiled
"Mommy can I go say goodbye to Sky" Haddie looked at her mom
"Sure you can bean" Sally told her as she ran her fingers through her hair
"I can take her"Nikki offered
"No it's okay Nikki I'll do it, you stay"he offered so Sally could have some time with her "Dad why don't you join us.. Mazie and Eden you too" he motioned for them to come

Sally stared over at the door, Nikki slide over close to Sally still holding Wes who was curled up she looked down
"It's gonna be tough not seeing him all the time like did with the girls" she said playing with his hand
"I'm sorry" Sally's voice broke
"Oh honey I didn't say that to hurt you"she told her
"You must hate me.. I know Victor does. He probably doesn't believe this move was Adam's decision"
Nikki nodded "My husband is stubborn but he didn't handle this right" she said softly "Adam is doing exactly what he should do"Nikki said stroking Sally's hair "What's best for you and the family"
Sally groaned and stood up "Do you think this move is right or is it a big mistake" she asked
"I can't answer that sweetie"she told her
"Can you answer this...did I destroy Victor and Adam's relationship"she asked looking back at her
"Oh .. no ..no you didn't. You should know by now they go through periods like this .. one of them does something other doesn't like. You didn't cause this Sally"
Sally nodded "Adam still loves his father"she said
"I know" Nikki replied she came over and hugged her "Who knows maybe this distance opens Victor's eyes on how remarkable his son is"
"Oh Nikki"she cried harder "Leaving you is gonna be so hard"
"Oh Sally" she rubbed her back "I'm only a phone call away .. I'll get a plane to you in a heartbeat if you need me"she told her
Wes began to babble causing them to giggle
"He's agreeing to that" Nikki giggled "Would you like that Wesley Vincent would you like a visit from Nana" she smiled at him
"Thank you Nikki" Sally smiled as had rubbed Wes's head
"For what"Nikki asked
"For being the surrogate mother I needed .. I wasn't expecting it from you" she told her
Nikki took her hand "I'm still here for you.. always"

They were all on the plane, the girls all asleep in their seats. Adam was feeding Wes to help with his ears. Sally was a little agitated
"Are you good with him" she asked Adam
"Ya he is just chillin with his bottle" he smiled
Sally laughed then got up and went to the bathroom
Sally closed the door and started taking deep breaths. She leaned against the sink she didn't know what was happening she began to splash cold water on her face
Adam knocked on the door "Sally you okay"
"Ya" she opened the door
Oh Babe, you okay you look really pale are you sick"
"I don't know this never happened before. Where's Wes" she looked over his shoulder
"In his seat asleep" Adam pointed
Sally nodded then felt sick and turned back to the bathroom. Adam bent down beside her
"We'll be there soon"he rubbed her back

It was dinner time when they arrived. Adam and Sally had smiles on they faces when they saw who was waiting for them
Sally turned to look at her daughters "Girls, look who is here" she said
They all looked ahead and saw their brother
"CONNOR" they yelled causing Wes to jolt
"Daddy stop the car..stop the car"Haddie said all excited
"I am" he laughed putting the car in park " Go get him" he told them
The girls jumped out of the car and ran to Connor who stood on the porch
Both Adam and Sally sat there watching
"We should go join them" he told her as he got out
Sally hopped out and got Wes out and followed behind
"Are you moving here with us"Mazie asked
"No Mazie Moo" he said "Just wanted to come visit my favorite siblings"he added
"Connie we are your only siblings"Eden said all sassy
They all laughed
Connor playfully push her "True but you guys are still my favorite"
"Can we go to the beach"Eden asked
"Eddy we just got here and your brother came to see you" Sally told her as she adjusted Wes
"Connie can come too"she pulled at him
"Fine let's go burn off some energy" he said picking her up sideways causing her to giggle
"Adam why don't you go with them I'll set up for dinner in the meantime time" she told him as she headed in with Wes and Bentley

Adam came in a little while later he found Sally in the kitchen. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her kissing her cheek
"Feeling better" he asked
"Ya, it must have been air sick or something" she said grabbing the plates "Can you" she asked
Adam nodded and went over to the table
"You know I just thought of something I think this is the first time we moved that you aren't pregnant for" he gave a little chuckle
Sally glared at him "You find that funny"she said annoyed
"No... it just an observation that's all" he came up to her "Why do you seem so bothered by that Sal"
"I'm not" she shook her head " I'm sorry... I'm just tired it's been a long emotional day"she hugged him
"Are you sure"he asked caressing her cheek
Sally smiled "Ya.. you should probably go get the kids pizza should be here soon"

While Adam was gone Sally stood frozen in the kitchen then ran up when she thought of something. She pulled out her phone she then heard Bentley come in she looked up
"Can you sense something" she asked he came up by her leg "I'm okay I promise you" she bent down petting him
Wes began to cry, she looked up
"Go downstairs wait for your sisters I'll go get your brother" she told him and kissed his nose then left the room

Adam and Connor came in with the girls
"Okay get settled in, I'll just go get mommy"Adam told them
"Dad I'll go you stay start dinner with them"Connor told him heading up

Connor found Sally in Wes's room she stood at the window staring out. Something about her behavior worried him
"Sally we're back"he said

Sally jumped and looked over "What"
She looked a million miles away
"I said we are back for dinner"he said
"Oh okay"she said softly
Connor came in and looked at Wes "Hey lil bro"he said
Wes smiled at him flapping his arms Connor took Wes from Sally
Connor looked up at Sally "Sally is everything okay" he asked as he bounced Wes
"Yes everything is fine"she smiled
"Are you sure because you are acting like before..." he paused "When we thought we lost dad" he told her
"Oh Con" she sighed "I promise I'm okay" she hugged him
They pulled away Sally smiled and gently kissed his cheek
"Con let's go down before your dad and sister eat all the pizza" she giggled

They were getting ready for bed Adam was sitting on the bed removing his watch
"So I was thinking tomorrow maybe we could drive over to the new N+S location.. maybe we can have Connor watch the kids" he suggested
"Adam we can't ask your son to babysit four kids" Sally said as she was combing her hair
"I'm sorry my son" he questioned her
Sally turned to look at him "You know what I mean... don't be panicking"
Adam nodded "I'm not"
"We can't expect Con to babysit his siblings... yes he came to visit us but he is an adult maybe he has plans"she said to him as she came over to him
"You are right" he pulled her into him and laid down "But so do you want three crazy girls running around while I show you the office"
"Adam they will be fine .. they grew up in that environment it will just be a new building and they'll be excited"
Adam held her tightly "That's true.. maybe this will make one of them eager to follow in our footsteps" he chuckled
"Tomorrow we start the next adventure" he told her and kissed her cheek before drifting off to sleep
"Ya" she whispered
Sally laid awake in his arms staring down at Adam's hand placed on her stomach

*So sorry for the lack of updates.. it's partly I didn't know where to take this chapter & life lol*
