Wyatt was sitting on the couch waiting for Sally to return. He texted Adam to apologize for how things went down. Sally came back down and was annoyed to see Wyatt still there
"I thought I told you to leave"she groaned and walking towards the kitchen
Wyatt got up and followed her "I wanted to.. no I needed to apologize. I also want to explain"he sighed "My intention was never to upset you"he said
Sally ignored him and grabbed a glass of water
"I'm sorry for how you found out"he added
"You know as I was putting Wes in his crib I kept trying to figure out why you'd do this, go behind my back you had to of known I'd be upset" she said
"I shouldn't have done it behind your back,..."
"No you should've done it at all"she raised her voice
Wyatt sat at the counter and began "The night I ran into you, I was worried for you because you weren't the Sally Spectra I knew. And when I saw Adam's text I knew if I was worried  he had to be even more then I was"he told her
"Doesn't make what you did okay"she said "So what was your plan hmm"
Wyatt bent his head down then got up and came over to her "When I first contacted him all I was gonna do was tell him, you were okay and so was Wes and I would look out for you"he said "I wasn't planning on video chatting with him that was..."
"So it was his idea"she aggressively nodded "So when was it my first session" she crossed her arms
"No a couple sessions in, and it was all me Sally, Adam didn't feel comfortable at first but when I was watching Wes for you. I thought of Adam he could still see his son with out you seeing him.It was the perfect solution I thought "he said
"So you "offering" to watch my son was just so you could be alone and talk about me with Adam" she began to get upset
Wyatt stepped forward "Me babysitting Wes was me being a friend helping you out. I swear to you. I took it upon myself for Adam to see Wes, he deserved to at least see him.It's not fair to Wes, he is just a baby who isn't seeing his father, pretty soon he'll think I'm his father that's not right Sally"he raised his voice
Sally slammed the glass on the counter "Do you think I don't know that Wyatt. On top of everything else I'm dealing I'm keeping my son away from his father, that wasn't the original plan. Taking Wes...I mean"she pointed to the stairs "I was gonna leave him with Adam while I figured out what the hell was wrong with me"she pointed back to herself "But then I thought maybe if I was alone with out Adam just maybe me and Wes could bond."tears were streaming down her face "Adam doesn't deserve not seeing his son, but I'm also scared to face him"
"Why Sally"Wyatt said softly
"Because of his father"she said below a whisper
"Have you met Bill"Wyatt chuckled "He didn't like you either"
"Ya but I never had your children" she shout out
"I'm aware" he sounded hurt "I'm just saying you handled people like him before and you dealt with Victor for years you can take him" he said "And you have Adam to back you up right"
Sally looked down and sighed "You know just seeing Adam for a brief moment on that laptop I realized I handled this wrong and I'm not strong enough to look him in the eyes and...."she trailed off breathing heavy
Wyatt pulled her into a hug "Come here" he said softly "Sally,he loves you"he said rubbing her back "I have been witnessing it, he asks about you all the time. Watching him with Wes that love he has."he pulled her to look at out "It breaks his heart that he can't be here for you"
Sally stepped back "Was this the plan"she asked
"What"he asked confused
"To act concerned for me and be my friend to get close to me... and Wes. Were you going take my son away from me and bring him to Adam" she was asking all paranoid
Wyatt was in shock she'd even think this way
"No Sally.. you got all wrong I'd never would do that to you and neither would your husband we were looking out for you ..in our own way" he told her
Sally pulled her robe closed "I think you should go now" she couldn't look at him
"I don't feel comfortable leaving like this"
"I'm a big girl Wyatt" she groaned "I'm tired just go" she began to clean up
Wyatt nodded then started to leave but stopped and turned back
"Sally"he called out
She looked at him still with an anger in her eyes
"Promise me something... don't give up. You have made a lot of progress you may not see it .. but I do"
Sally looked away and ignored him

Adam was having an evening drink,the video call on his mind. That was the first time he had seen Sally and weeks and seeing her this angry broke his heart. He missed her so much
There was a knock at the door, he looked at his watch at who would be here at this hour. When he opened the door he was annoyed to see his father
"What are you doing here"he asked as he step aside to let him in
"Hello son" he said coming in "I came to see if you heard anything on Sally"he asked
"Why do you care"he asked "The last time I saw you, you declared my wife unfit, so don't act like you care now"
"Son she has my grandson"he stated
"I'm aware dad because incase you forgot Wesley is my son" he got angry "But if it will get out of my house faster.. she is fine and so is Wes" he told him
"You finally talked to her"Victor asked
"No but I'm seen her .. briefly" he said
"Hmm" he said
Adam gave him a look "What's that supposed to mean"Adam crossed his arms
"Well since you didn't seem too concerned about this as you should've been. I had my men track her down" he told her
Adam was pissed and stood up "HOW COULD YOU"he yelled
"No how could you son. Being okay with your wife partying it up" he yelled
"Sally isn't partying it up dad. This is no party for her" he told him
"Then why was she at bar tonight"he stated
"Because Wyatt gave her a break" he said
"Hmm maybe I underestimated you and you do have someone on the inside watching her"
"No not like you. You see my wife is truly working hard to overcome this"he said
"Son, I know you love her and you want her to come back from this. But I think you need to consider going and getting your son and filing for custody of those kids"
"Absolutely not dad" he yelled at him "Are you insane, Sally.. yes she is dealing with something we can't understand dad but she is not a bad mother. I'm not taking MY kids away from her"he screamed
"Don't you raise your voice to me" he said sternly
"Don't say stuff about my family dad" he said
"Look no matter how much you try and deny this son. She is unstable she proved that by running away with Wesley"Victor looked at him for a second before continuing "Adam, I know you love her but sometimes there not much we can do and love isn't enough. I'm sorry she's not right for this family"
Adam started pacing "Unbelievable"he groaned "I'm not acting like a Newman. But don't Newmans never give up on the love our lives. Which is what you are asking me to do" he came over to him "Would you give up on Nikki when she was drinking"he asked
"That's different" he pointed at him
"No it's not dad. I honestly thought you finally changed"he came to the realization "I thought you actually came around when we had the girls and it felt like a family of love. Nothing ever lasts with you do you what get bored or something, or is it because my wife is going through hell and doing things you don't like" he asked "You truly want her out the family...MY FAMILY" he yelled
"Exactly"he admitted
Adam nodded "Cool, Sally didn't ask for this. This wasn't her fault. My wife is getting help she's not ignoring the issues."he said "Which is why I won't ignore the bigger issue."
"What are talking about"Victor asked
"If you are truly against Sally and no longer see her as my wife, then I'm sorry dad you can no longer see us including my kids"
"I'm just protecting my grandkids"he stood up
"That's my job dad because they ARE my kids.. which is what I am doing"he told him "What you call "protecting" it's actually called controlling and I won't subject my kids to that.. not anymore" he stepped back "Now please leave me house"
Victor said nothing more and left

Sally was giving Wes his last feeding of the night she rocked him and began talking to him
"Mommy screwed up today"she whispered "I was mad at wrong person, and it wasn't Wyatt or your daddy I should have been mad at myself. My mind was all over the place and I guess seeing daddy and finding out what Wyatt did put me over the edge"she was stroking Wes's cheek, she smiled "So you been hanging with daddy that must have been fun" she said softly "I'm sorry mommy is keeping you from him,it's not fair to you beginning to know who we are and you aren't with daddy" she looked up as tears fell "Can I tell you a secret.. seeing daddy made me miss him" she told him "And I'm sure every time he sees you he misses you probably not me"she kissed his head
Sally then got up and laid him down in his crib and was stroking his face as he drifted off to sleep "I hope you dream of daddy"she whispered as she watched him fall asleep

Adam was in bed reading when his phone rang, he looked at who calling and hit ignore and placed his book down and turned the light off and laid down. The phone went off again he groaned
"Abby do you know what time it is"he said
"It's 9:00 o'clock" Abby stated
"Whatever.. why are you calling" he asked
"I ran into Sally" she told him
Adam sat up and turned on the light "You what .. you are in LA" he asked
"Yes I ran into her at a restaurant.. I'm so sorry" she said
"Is she okay" he asked
"I never saw her like this before that poor girl" she told him
"Why are you calling me .. I already know how bad it is for her"he sighed
"I'm not talking about that.. I'm talking about the confusion she has with you"
"I don't understand what you are talking about Abby..what about me"
"The longer she's away and thinking she's failed you. Every day  will get harder for her to come back from this if you don't fight for her.
"I am Abby.. waiting for her to let me in it what she asked and it's what I can to do for her"he told her
"Adam that day might not come" she said softly
"What do you mean by that" he asked
"I can't tell you why I think that.. but I can tell you this we both know trying to not to act like dad is hard.. when it comes to fighting for those we love which I know is why you aren't here..but you sitting around waiting for her .. you could possibly lose her"
Adam was confused "Abby, I think you had too much to drink. Get some sleep"he hung up

Sally was woken up in the middle of the night by Wes crying. She looked at the clock then ran to his room
"What's wrong" she said coming to him,she picked him up trying to figure out what was the matter and trying to calm him down
Sally brought him into her room sitting down on the bed rocking him. His crying got louder
"Mommy's got you"she said softly
Nothing was working he was crying harder. Sally began to panic when he was pulling away. She was beginning to give up She was ready to call Wyatt for help Until she remembered a time Mazie was like this when she was sick
Sally brought Wes into the bathroom, she laid him down on a towel so she could turn on the shower. As the water was warming up she bent down over him
"This helped you sissy I hope it helps you" she told him taking off his onesie
Sally stepped into the shower with him and let the steam surround them. She swayed with him and hummed to him
"It sounds like a waterfall doesn't it" she said softly stroking his belly
Wes began to calm down and he grabbed onto a piece of Sally's hair. She watched as he curled into her
"Oh Wes" she began to cry "I'm so sorry it's been a rocky start with me. All I ever wanted was this .. not you crying but us."she nuzzled her nose to his "It's you and me"she whispered
Those words triggered something in her and she began to see flashbacks of Wes's birth, then she heard Adam's voice telling her to hold on. Then she felt Wes being ripped away from her
"Oh my god" she said, she looked down at Wes "That's it"she cried.
Sally got out of the shower and grabbed her phone which was on the sink
"Hello" she heard a groggy voice
"Ad..Adam" she called out
Adam was wide awake hearing her voice "Sally are you okay it's.."he looked at the clock "It's 3am there"he heard her crying
"I couldn't connect with him and I didn't know why" she began sitting down on the floor
"I know baby and I felt awful" he told her
"I finally figured it out as I was trying calm him down.."
"Wait is he okay" he got worried
"Oh ya he is fine .. I didn't mean to scare you. He just had one those moments Mazie did when I had to stand the shower with her" she laughed "Anyway as I was talking to him he wrapped his hand around my hair. I looked at him and apologized even if he didn't understand" she was getting more emotional "I said something I said to him when I was in labor him"she paused "The reason I struggled bonding with him was because when he was born I had that complication and he was pulled from my arms"she stopped "When I lost consciousness"
Adam's heart broke,remembering it and how scared he was
"I lost those first moments with him, so when I was reunited with him..."
"He felt like a stranger to you"Adam stated
"Ya, you got to hold him while I couldn't"she sighed "It also made it worse for me when I couldn't breast feed so the thing I was hoping would bond us wasn't possible.. so I guess I began to shut down"
"Oh Sal, I'm so sorry you dealt with this, and couldn't understand why you were struggling" Most importantly I'm very proud of you"he told her
He listened to her softly cry for a few minutes. Sally finally calmed herself down.
Sally held Wes close to her rocking him and smiling "Hey Adam" she said
"Yea Sally" he asked
"I see it now, I finally see Wes is 100s% me" she said "He has my eyes" she said
"He has everything of you" "Which I absolutely love"he added
"Adam" she said softly
"Yes Babe"he asked
"Will you come get us"she asked
Adam cried of joy "Yes, yes"he sighed"Oh I thought you'd never ask"
