Our Love Always Finds A Way

"I wanted to talk to her, you know mother to mother"

     Adam went to Chelsea's first thing in the morning. When she opened the door, he stormed in
"We're you actually taking my kid to Paris with out telling me about it first"he was annoyed
"Calm down Adam, I just found out about it"she told him
"And you thought the right thing to do was tell Connor, before me"he yelled
"I know he's upset" she said
"Of course he is upset Chelsea.He's going to be leaving his home, his family and all his friends"he told her
"He has done it before, he's adjusted fine"she said
"Well he was younger then and now he doesn't want to go" he informed her
"Well what teenager wants to move, but frankly he doesn't have a choice in this" she said
"Right, but I do" he raised his voice and pointed at himself "And you are not taking him"
"Or what" she huffed
"Or nothing Chelsea, I don't want to fight for custody but I want you to think about him. He is finally in place where he happy, don't disrupt him please consider letting him stay here.. with and Sally"he said
"So your solution is I don't get to see him because of my job"she said
Adam sighed before her said something "We can come up with a plan, like he can come stay with you on school breaks, holidays"he suggested
Chelsea rolled her eyes

   Sally was sitting on the couch drinking her tea when Connor came downstairs. He looked around
"Where's Dad" he asked
"Oh he went to see your Mom" she told him as she sat her tea on the coffee table. She looked at him "Connor what is it" she asked
"They are going right" he said
Sally gave him a smile "Come here" she reached out for him
Connor came over and sat next to her she took his hand
"Your Dad is fighting for you Connor. Like you,he doesn't want you to go."she told him
"What about you" he asked
"What about me?"she looked at him
"Do you want me to stay"he asked her
"Of course I do Con, I love you"she smiled "You are the best bonus kid I could ask for. All I  want and all I ever wanted from the moment you became apart of my life is for you to be happy, if that's here with us then I'm all in and I'll fight for you too"she told him
  Connor hugged her, Sally wrapped her arms around him and held him

    Chelsea took a deep breath and sat on the couch. Adam came over and sat beside her
"This job has been my dream Adam, you remember when we were together" she said
Adam nodded "Of course I'm not trying to take away your dream"he said
"Just my son"she said not looking at him
"He is our son, and I know you want what's best for him Chels. As soon as he found out he could have told us and be excited for it but asked to stay with me and Sally"he said
"I didn't handle this right" she put her head in her hands "I should have discussed it with you"she told him
"It happens, it's not like you left with him without me knowing" he chuckled
Chelsea have a small laugh
"I know you Chelsea you'd do anything for our son" he said
Chelsea nodded
"Then let him stay with us"he said

    Adam came home, Sally stopped what she was doing and came over to
him
"How did it go" she asked
"There's a lot we need to figure out"he looked down "But.."
"But what"she was concerned
He looked up and smiled "It's a boy" he chuckled
"She's letting him stay"she smiled
"Yea, she realized pulling him out of school wasn't the best idea. But this might mean he'll be spending holidays and summers with her"he told her
Sally wrapped her arms around him "What ever happens all that matters is his happiness" she said still holding him
"You are right"he pulled away "I should go tell him" he said
Sally smiled and nodded, then gave him a kiss before he went upstairs. Sally watched him head up before grabbing her purse and left

   Sally was sitting at the table at Crimson Lights. Chelsea walked over to her
"Thanks for meeting me" Sally smiled
"I was expecting your call" she said as she sat down
"When I left Adam was telling him the decision, but I wanted to talk to you about it"Sally told her
"What are you not okay with it" Chelsea asked
"No, I'm definitely for it, but as a mother now I know you're not"she said
"I'm disappointed my son doesn't want to go but I understand. I got to do what is best for him and do what I always have been doing ... putting him first" she said with tears in her eyes
"Hey, who knows he might hate it staying with us permanently"Sally laughed
"Are you kidding me that kid loves it with you guys and for a teenager he loves being with his sisters"she told her
"Ya, he is special in that way. You raised one spectacular son Chelsea" she took her hand "And I promise you I'll take care of him"
"I'm not worried about that at all"she smiled "Soon you'll have your hands full with four kids under the same roof, you ready for that"
Sally smiled "Yes"
"Everything okay with the baby"she asked
"Yes, everything looks good"she placed her hand on her bump
They stayed and chatted for a little while

    Sally returned she was setting down her things when Connor ran over to her
"I get to stay Sally" he said all excited
"I heard, I'm so happy for you" she smiled
Adam came over to them "Con, can you go get your sisters for me"he asked him
Connor nodded then left
Adam looked at Sally "So where did you run off too" he asked
"You know where" she gave him a look
"To see Chelsea" he said
"I wanted to talk to her, you know mother to mother" she told him
Adam pulled her into him "Was she okay, there wasn't any cat fight " he asked
"No"she pulled on his shirt a little " I feel bad though" she said
"Why"he asked wiping her tears away
"Because she isn't going to have her child with her"she rested her head on his chest and cried
Adam knew part of this meltdown was hormones he just rubbed her back and kissed the top of her head "God, I love you" he said softly
"If you love me now just as my emotions are starting to be all over the place, I can't wait to see if you still love me when I'm complaining how uncomfortable I am" she looked up at him
"I'll always love you but I love you more  knowing you are growing this baby"
"Speaking of this baby"she said
"What is it okay, are you okay" he got a little worried
"It's fine, I'm fine" she kissed him "But I was thinking we need to come up with a nickname. Like we did for Mazie and Hadley"
"Oh nuggets, that we totally ditched"he laughed
"True, but we started calling them other names that for them, which we will do for this little one"she looked down
"What are you feeling for it"he asked
Sally paused and smiled "What about Bug"she asked
"Big" he repeated "Our little love bug"he placed his hand on her bump

Connor came back down with them girls. Adam took Mazie
"Are all ready for dinner"he asked
"I know I am" Sally said taking Hadley

Later that night they we all in the pool. Sally was twirling Hadley around. While Adam and Connor were playing with Mazie, who was splashing
Mazie leaned in and kissed Connor
"You love your big brother don't you you"Sally said
"I love you too Mazie"Connor kissed her back
"Hey Bud, you're cool with living here, I know you asked I just want to make sure you are sure"
"Yes, I don't want to live in Paris" he told him
"Okay, you still need to visit Mom though and we will work on when that happens"
"That's fine"he looked at both Adam and Sally "Thanks for letting me stay here"
"Connor this is your home too your aren't just staying here.. you live here" he placed his hand on Connor's shoulder
Sally smiled "And we will always do what's best for you, your mom and dad and I"

The end of the night they were locking up,Sally poked her head in Connor's room to say goodnight. He was playing a video game
"Five more minutes, okay" she told him
Connor nodded "Night Sally"
Sally smiled "Night"
Sally was heading into their bedroom when all of sudden a wave of nausea came over, she ran by Adam to the bathroom. He followed
"Hey, hey are you okay" he knelt down beside her
Sally was trying to compose herself "I thought.. I thought I was coming to the end of this"she cried
Adam rubbed circles on her back "I'm sorry" he kissed her shoulder "You were doing so good" he said softly
"I thought so too" she said leaning back into him "I guess Bug has other ideas"
Adam was rubbing her shoulders "If I don't say it enough thank you for going through this" he rested his chin on her shoulder
"Welcome" she said as she closed her eyes
"Are you ready to go to bed"he asked
Sally nodded
"Come on"he said picking her up and kissing her forehead

Adam laid Sally on the bed, he knelt down next to her. He started stroking her bump
"Hey Bug, this is your Daddy speaking. I need to tell you something really important" he said eyeing Sally "You need to go easy on Mommy, she is everything for you and it would make Daddy feel better knowing she's not suffering so much" he said kissing her bump
Sally just ran her hand through his hair "I love seeing you in this mode"she said softly
"What bad cop"he chuckled
"No"she shook her head "Caring"she smirked "It's sexy"
Adam moved up and hovered over her "Oh you think bossing our unborn child is sexy, wait til you see me dote on you hand and foot for the rest of this pregnancy" he kissed her lightly
"Can I get that in writing Mister" she caressed his cheek
"Oh you don't need to my word is good when it comes to you" he smiled
Sally pulled him back down to her to kiss him
Adam then rested his head on her bump "What are you hoping for this time" he asked
"I don't care, I love it no matter what" she said "Because it's our child"she smiled "What would like" she asked
"I love our girls so much, but I'd love to see a little boy, our little boy with your eyes. But I have this feeling Bug is going to be a girl with her Mommy's everything"
"Oh really" she said
"Yes just you wait and see" he said
