"I never want you alone with her again"

     They arrived back home late at night,Adam brought Wes up to his room, Sally stood there watching him. She is thankful to have him. She then went to let Bentley out, Adam had Elena look after him while he was away. Once Bentley noticed it was Sally he got all excited
"Hi my Benny"she said as she opened the cage. He jumped all over her
"Did you miss me" she giggled as he kissed her "I'm so sorry I went away and left you. I hope you were good for daddy"
Adam came back down "I put on ocean sounds so let's hope he stays asleep"
he told her as he went into the kitchen
Sally followed him with Bentley right behind her "If he doesn't I'll get up to him"she said sitting at the counter
"No I'll get him I already missed so much with him because of you"he snapped at her
Sally sat back in shock
Adam was drinking when he realized how it sounded "Oh Sally I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap .. I'm just tired"he came over to her
"No it's okay" she nodded a little "I deserve that" she looked down
Adam came up behind her and spun the stool so she was facing him, placing his hands on her shoulders 
"No it's not Sal and you don't" he leaned into her and kissed her forehead
Sally gave him a small smile "But really I'll get up with him. You need your sleep" she paused "You're bringing our girls home"
"Oh that's right" he took her hand "Are you sure you don't want to go together"
"It's a long drive and Wes already did a lot of travel today" she told him
"Sounds good"he to kiss her
She laid into him "I'm gonna turn in too"she told him and getting up and heading upstairs
Adam looked down and saw Bentley wagging his tail looking at the stairs
"Go"he motioned for him to follow "Go be with your girl"
Bentley ran fast to Sally

Surprisingly Wes slept through the night. Adam woke at 7am to find Bentley laying next to Sally he loved how relaxed she looked and he didn't have the heart to wake her up
Adam leaned over and gently kissed her cheek "Going to go get our girls" he whispered "Be back later"
He then looked at Bentley and pet him "Look after our girl"he told him

  Sally woke a little while later to Wes babbling. She laid there listening. She smiled at Bentley
"Let's go get your brother" she told him
   She walked into his nursing, she peered into his crib
"Good morning my handsome boy"she picked him up "The traveling must have wiped you out you slept a whole 10 hours"she giggled "A new personal best Wesley"she kissed his cheek
She was changing him "We have big days today. Daddy went to go get your sissys"she tickled him "Wait til they see how big you gotten "Let's go get some breakfast" she told him wiggling him in the air as she left the room

   Sally was cleaning up while Wes was in his bouncer. The doorbell rang all of a sudden Bentley started barking. Sally looked at him it was unusual for him to do that
"Benny, it's okay" she went over "No one is gonna hurt us"she chuckled at him as she opened the door. Her face fell when she saw Victor
"Good morning Victor " she greeted him
" Hello Miss Spectra"he said walking in
Sally sighed "It's Newman"she corrected him as she closed the door
"So where is my son"he asked looking around
"Oh he left to get the girls from camp"she told him
"I thought camp ended next week" he asked
"It does.. but we miss them. So Adam decided to go get them"she said going over to Wes "Can I get you anything, coffee"
  Victor shook his head and sat down "May hold him" he asked
Sally reluctantly let him she slowly handed Wes to Victor
"Wes, this is grandpa"she told him
Victor looked at Wes, who began to fus
"You look like your mom Wesley"he said
"I know.."she smiled at her son
"That's too bad"he shot at her
Wes cried harder so Sally took him and went to the opposite side
"Adam ... he told me how furious you were with me" she looked around nervously
"Well you took my son's child  of course I would be furious"he told her
"It .. wasn't like that.But I feel awful for the time he missed with me. Victor you will never understand what I was dealing with"she said
"So what now you come back and act like you didn't abandon your family. Everything what goes back to normal pretend to be this perfect mother"he said sternly
Sally looked down "I'm still gonna go to therapy so no it's not back to normal. Adam is the only one I owe an explanation to. He forgave me because he loves me sir"
"Believe that if you must. I wouldn't be surprised if he told you he understands and everything just to get his son home. And then he will do the right thing ..."
"And what is that sir" Sally protectively clung to Wes
"Come to his senses and divorce you and protect those kids"
Sally tried so hard to not cry, she clung tighter to Wes afraid to let him go
"They don't need protection .. not from me sir"she was shaking
"My son can't see how unstable you truly are. You clearly turned him against me"he said pointing to Wes
"I did no such thing .. he is a baby and he barely knows you"she said rocking Wes
"Who's fault is that" he said
Just then they heard the door open and the girls giggling
"Mommy I have three little girls who are excited to see you"Adam called out
Sally quickly changed her body language and wiped her tears. A smile was on her face just as the girls entered
"My babies are home... come here" she said all excited
Mazie and Haddie came over first and hugged her on each side
"Hi mommy we had so much fun" Mazie said
"Oh I'm so glad to hear" she gave them kisses
Eden came on over. Mazie and Haddie stepped aside and played with their brother
Adam came in after bringing their suitcases in and seeing his father sitting there
"Oh I didn't know you were here" he immediately went over to Sally. Taking Wes from her so she could be fully with the girls
Eden wasted no time to climb onto her mom and hug her "I missed you mommy"she said
Sally almost cried hearing her baby not call her mama. She smiled with tears in her eyes
"What I send my baby to camp and she comes back a big girl"she said
"I'm not the baby anymore"she told her
"You will always be my baby" Sally kissed her head
Eden looked at her mom and studied her "Why do you look so sad... we are home"she smiled
Sally held her closer "Oh I am so happy my girls are home"she reached for both Mazie and Haddie to join in the hug
"I can't wait to hear all about camp and the friends you made"she said to them
"Oh me too.. I tried asking but they told me no mommy needs to hear too" Adam told her giving Wes kisses
   Adam then noticed Sally eyeing Victor he could see it in her eyes something happened
"Girls, can you go get cleaned up and change into new clothes"he asked them
"Okay" they all ran out "Bye grandpa"
  Adam put Wes in his bouncer before speaking
"Dad I'm gonna ask you once and I want the truth. Why are you here and why does my wife look like she  was just shot"
"Adam it's fine .. I'm fine" she stood up and reassured him "The girls are home" she reminded him
Adam shook his head "No I'm not letting this go Sal, my father said something... something bad didn't he"he looked over at his father
Sally looked down
"I'm looking out for you son and those kids.. protecting you" he told him
"We have been over this .. that's not your job" he looked over at Sally his face softened with her "Sal, what did he say to you"
"Um.."she paused "He told me .. you only brought me  back so Wes would be here.. when you divorce me" she glared at Victor
Adam looked at back at Victor "How dare you. You push and you push until we had enough..which has happened" he told him "Please leave my house" he pointed to the door
"I want to see my grandchildren.. all of them" he told him only looking at Adam
"Not tonight.. tonight it's just us. I never want you alone with her again"he pointed at Sally
Victor got up and left slamming the door. This caused both Sally and Wes to cry. Adam went over and picked up Wes then came over to Sally and took her in his arms
"I'm so sorry babe" he kissed her head
"I ruined everything for you"her voice breaking
"No you didn't .. he did"he said wiping her tears "Look we will discuss this later .. right now we have some celebrating to do"he told her

They ordered pizza and were sitting around the table. Wes was asleep in the bassinet by Sally. The girls were telling them stories about camp
"So girls what was your favorite part"Adam asked smiling
"Mine was swimming"Mazie said
"I liked making s'mores" Haddie said taking a bite of her pizza
"What about you Bug"Sally asked wiping the sauce from Eden's face
"Arts and crafts"she said all excited "Oh I almost forgot"she said getting up from the table
"Eden Rain... get back here" Adam said sternly
"I will I just got to grab something" she said running away
Both Adam and Sally gave each other questionable looks
"Girls, do you know what your sister is up too"Sally asked
Both Mazie and Haddie shook their heads
  A few minutes later Eden skipped back into the kitchen holding two beaded bracelets
"What are those"Adam asked
Eden came over to her dad first "I made these"she told him putting it on his wrist
She then went and did the same to Sally
Adam looked at it, it said  Bug with a ♥️ bead next to it
"Mine says "Bug♥️. What yours mommy"Adam asked
"Same"Sally said softly smiling at it "I love it"she said pulling Eden onto her lap
"Can we go back next summer" Haddie asked
Adam took a deep breath looking over at Sally who was leaning against her daughter. She didn't want to tell them tonight
"You definitely can go to camp if you want .. maybe not that one"Adam
"How come"Mazie asked
"Adam .. not tonight"she said to him
"We have too ..girls go into the living room we'll be there in a sec"
Mazie and Haddie got up and went into the other room. Eden hoped off her mother and slowly walked in looking back at them
"It's okay Bug" she smiled
Sally then glared at Adam "Adam we can't do it tonight"
"I don't want to but after my father .. I just want to get the ball rolling.." he got up clearing the table
"I understand.. but you are not acting rational right now"she picked up Wes
"You should know something about that" he snapped
Sally stopped in her tracks gave him a look then went to put Wes to bed
"Sall.."he called out

  A few minutes later they joined their daughters. Sally was sitting on the couch with the girls, she slowly was combing Mazie's hair with her fingers. Adam sat at the other end and Haddie slid closer to him, Eden was resting against Sally
"So girls" Adam began "While you were away mommy and I were talking about the house at the beach
"Are we going on a family vacation before school"Mazie asked
"Not exactly"he said
Sally just stared at her daughter
"How would you girls like stay there permanently"Adam asked looking between all of them
"What does per..ma..ntly"Eden asked
Before either Sally or Adam could respond Haddie did
"IT MEANS FOREVER" she yelled
"Woah ..woah, woah Hadley why do you sound upset. I thought you'd be happy.. you love the beach"Adam wrapped his arm around him
Haddie pushed him away "I don't want to if it means we leave Nana" she yelled and jumped off the couch and ran to her room
Sally gave Adam an "I told you so" look. He put his hands in his head. Sally just held Mazie and Eden
