The paramedics just left, Sally decided she didn't need to go to the hospital since everything looked good with her and the baby. As Sally was freshening up Adam made up the bed for her. The baby was in the bassinet, Adam went over and just stared at his new daughter. He placed his hand on her smiling
Sally slowly came out of the bathroom,Adam went over to her and helped guide her over to the bed
"You doing okay" he said softly as he held her
"Ya"groaned a little "It's painful put it's a good pain, you know"she said smiling at their daughter
Adam smiled and picked her up and sat next to Sally. They both admired her
"I can't get over how perfect she is"Adam gushed
"I know she is"Sally said softly stroking her little head
"She needs a name"Adam said
"Wait we aren't calling her Bug"Sally looked at Adam then chuckled
"Bug Newman, it is different"Adam said, handing the baby to Sally
"Okay Bug, who are gonna be"she asked
"How about we name her after her rockstar of Mom"Adam said smiling at her
"Sally Junior, no thanks"Sally said scrunching up her nose
"Between the names we liked, she doesn't look like Sydney or Mia"Adam said "They don't say her" he said
"I know, what Eve we had they on the list"Sally suggested
Adam looked at her "Adam and Eve"he said shaking his head
"Oh ya, I never thought of that" she laughed "How is it so hard to name such an angel of a baby" she said rubbing her nose against hers
"What about Eden"he suggested looking at his phone. Once he said it the baby started cooing
Both Adam and Sally smiled at each other then looked at her
"I guess she approves, Eden Newman" Adam said softly
"Our sweet girl Eden"Sally got tears in her eyes. She lean against the headboard "Eden what, what's her should middle name be"Sally asked
Adam came up beside her "I know we chose middle names for Mazie and Hadley that meant something to us, like there's a connection to us. But what would you say her name represents tonight, the day she was born" he suggested
Sally nodded "I like that idea, but the only name I can think of is storm and that's .."she shook her head "That shouldn't be it"
They sat in silence trying decide on a middle name. The sound of the rain caught their attention and they looked at each other
"Eden Rain"they both said in unison
Adam wrapped his arms around his girls. Sally laid her head into him
"Eden Rain Newman welcome to the family"Adam said kissing her head "Your family" he added
Sally kissed his cheek "I love you" she said
"I love you too,thank you for going through all this"he kissed her cheek "Eden your Mommy is a rockstar, I'm in awe of you Sal. Watch you bring her into this world was something"
"Adam you were there for Mazie and Haddie"she told him
"I know I was, but tonight you practically did this all yourself,with no pain meds.I know how much pain you were in" he said
"The labor yes was painful but honestly her birth was peaceful. I don't if it was because it was you and me but this night was everything she was worth it" she said "I have to thank you for being my rock"
"Anything for you"he kissed her head "Here let me take her so you can rest it's a long night"he suggested
"You know I'd put up a fight because I don't want to let her go yet but.."
"You are exhausted"he chuckled
Sally handed Eden to Adam "Go to Daddy Eden"she whispered

It didn't take long for Sally to fall asleep. Adam stayed up a little longer going between looking at his wife and his daughter who was sleeping in his arms
"Goodnight Bug,I'm so glad you finally joined us"he took her little hand in his "I hope you ready to be spoiled with love"he said then laying her down in the bassinet
Adam laid beside Sally who slowly moved into him sensing him close. He wrapped his arm around her then finally drifted off to sleep

They both got a few hours of sleep before the morning light woke them up and then Eden's soft crying. Sally began to feed her. While she did that Adam called his father to inform him of Eden's arrival. He came back into the room a few minutes later and just watched her
Sally looked up at him "What does this turn you on Adam Newman" she smirked
"No, not in that way"he chuckled "It just never gets old... watching you be a mother"
"Well it is thanks to you I am"she looked at Eden "I can't get over how a couple hours ago she was inside me"
Adam crawled onto the bed "Do you miss it"he asked laying on his arm
Sally shook her head "I'll miss the kicks, but I love holding her in my arms a lot more" she whispered. Sally looked at him with tears "I do miss our first babies"
Adam caressed her cheek "I do too. I called my dad they were happy to know she is here. So when you are ready I'll have them bring them home" he smiled
Sally nodded still looking at Eden "Can we just have it be us with them meeting her. You know with our family"she asked
Adam nodded
"Would you like to do skin to skin with her" Sally asked
"I'd love too"Adam said, he was still shirtless so he just took Eden from Sally
Sally watched as Adam looked at his daughter with so much love
"We should call Connor and let him know about his sister" Sally suggested
"We could do that" Adam said rubbing Eden's back
Sally grabbed her phone and FaceTimed Connor
"Hey Con, how is Paris" Sally asked
"It's good, isn't early there"he asked
"Yes it is, but we have a really good reason for calling you"Sally panned to Adam "We have early birthday gift for you" she joked "Meet your new sister" she said
"No way you finally had the baby" he said all excited
"Yes I did, a little before midnight right here at home actually" she told him
"Oh wow" he said "Mom Sally had the baby"he yelled to Chelsea
"Wow that's exciting, boy or girl"she called back
"I have another sister"he looked back at the phone "What's her name"he asked
"Connor, I'd like to introduce you to Eden Rain"Adam said looking at the phone smiling
"We can't wait for you to meet her in person"Sally told him
"I can't wait either, she's beautiful and tiny"he smiled
"A few more weeks"Adam told him
"We love you Con. Enjoy the rest of your time there"Sally said
"Love you too, I'll be counting down the days until I can see her. Give Eden a kiss for me"he said
"We will give a whole bunch"Adam said
Sally hung up the phone, then Adam handed Eden back to Sally

A few hours later Sally went downstairs. She sat on the couch obsessing over how perfect her baby. Eden was laying on her. Adam came over to her handed her a drink
"Adam,when they bring the girls home can you put Eden in the bassinet"she said stroking Eden's face
"Of course"he sat down
"Okay thanks. When they see me I don't want to get jealous seeing me hold her. I need them to have their moment with me before they meet Eden" she told him getting emotional
"Sally, totally understand. It's a big adjustment for all of us"he said
The doorbell rang. Sally and Adam we'd surprised how content Eden was she didn't stir.Adam took her from Sally who adjusted herself a little. He placed her down.He smiled at Sally before going to get his girls
"Remember just us"Sally told him
Adam winked at her
Sally could hear the excitement from Mazie and Hadley when they saw their Daddy. She missed those giggles
Adam came back a couple minutes later holding both girls hands as they walked back in. The smiles when they saw Sally warmed her heart. Adam picked them up and placed them on the couch and Mazie crawled over to Sally first
Sally hugged her tight "Oh my Mazie Moo I know it's only been one day but I missed you"she said giving her kisses
Hadley made her way to Sally she placed her hand on Sally's semi deflated stomach looking puzzled
Sally placed her hand over hers "That feels different doesn't it"she smiled "It's because Mommy had the baby" she said to both of them
"Mazie and Hadley meet your sister"Adam told them
Sally nodded for him to bring over Eden. Adam brought her over to them
"Girls, Mommy and Daddy would like you to meet Eden"he said sitting down on the couch
They let the girls take the lead, Mazie went over first Mazie went closer first. They were concerned if it was because her Daddy was holding another baby
Mazie started to touch Eden
"Gentle Mazie Moo"Sally said softly looking on
Hadley took the moment to finally curl up to her Mommy. Which melted Sally's heart. She rested her lips on her head as she held her
"Well I'll take it as a win for one of them to take an interest to her"Adam said
"But is it an interest or jealousy"Sally chuckled
Mazie looked at Eden then Adam
"Baby steps"Adam said

Sally had Eden on the bed getting her in a her sleeper for bed, Adam came in
"Both Mazie and Haddie are asleep" he told her
Sally nodded looking like she was gonna cry "Thanks"she said staring at Eden
"Sally, what is it"he kelt down beside her
"It's the first night and I feel like I screwed up"she picked Eden
"Sal, like you said it's the first night with all three. Eden needed you. We will get into a routine soon. Don't beat yourself up"he kissed her
"I know it's all the hormones I'm sorry"she rocked Eden
Adam sat in the space beside her and started stroking Eden's nose "How is it that she is so content, like the only time she has cried was to be fed"he said
"I know"she smiled "Let's hope it stays that way" Sally laughed
Adam was rubbing circles on Sally's back "Sal, can I ask you something"
Sally looked at him "You look serious what's wrong"
"It's nothing bad. Are you disappointed we didn't have a boy"he asked
Sally looked speechless "Why would you ask me that"she shook her head"No, Adam I'm not. I'll wonder what it would be like if we had a boy but"she looked down at Eden "Look at this beautiful girl we created"she smiled at him "Why are you disappointed"she asked
"No"he shook his head "Just making sure you get everything you want in life"he kissed her cheek
Sally smiled "Adam, you've let me be apart of Connor's life and you let me love him and then you gave me Mazie and Hadley and now Eden, so you have given me everything I could ever want" she laid her head on his shoulder
They just laid there staring at Eden who peacefully slept in Sally's arm

*So how I came up with Eden was interesting, it was thanks to autocorrect lol every time I typed "when" it corrected to Eden, so I was like I guess it's a sign lol. I also love the name*
