   *First of all I hope you haven't forgotten about this story. I'm so sorry for the lack of updating. I have been dealing with someone unexpectedly passing away & I have been taking their death pretty hard. I haven't been able to write ( the ideas still swirling in my mind). I hope you like this chapter*
            ~On with the chapter ~

Adam saw the color drain from Sally's face and instantly regretted saying all that. He went over to comfort her but Sally backed away from him
"Sally"he said
Sally held up her hand "Don't" she said
"I'm sorry"he said
"How long" she said as she began to pace
"How long what"he asked
"How long have you thought"she said as her voice was breaking "that I cheated"
Adam remain silent
Sally became frustrated "Adam how long" she yelled "The whole time"she asked
"No I swear ..."
"Then when"she asked
"Just recently but that's only because something felt off to me. Things kept happening and pointed to the possibility "he told her
"Okay can you tell me what those things were"she asked
Adam sighed
"Come on Adam ...we are here so we can talk. So tell me what caused you to assume I was unfaithful"she paused and crossed her arms "Or was it someone planting those ideas in your head"she said
Adam looked down
"Adam who was it"Sally asked
"Eden"he said
Sally was stunned "I'm sorry it almost sounded like you said our daughter"
Adam nodded "You did"he sighed
"Oh boy I can't wait to hear how our six year old made you come to the conclusion that I cheated"she chuckled
"Look I know it sounds crazy and I'll explain it but first you need to understand my mind was all over the place for months"he stopped and took her hands "I know yours was too. But you had people to help you through it"he told her
"I know" she said
"I was left with worry for you and our family. And as much as I believed you were coming back .. part of me was afraid this was it. It killed me that I couldn't be the one to save you"
"Adam, I didn't need saving"she told him
Adam nodded "You're right but I wasn't the one to help you" he replied softly
Sally looked at him and took a deep breath "I thought.. I thought you were okay with Wyatt, were you lying to me"
"No baby" he shook head and began to caress her cheek "Can you try and put yourself in my shoes with this"
Sally nodded "Okay" she said and going over and sitting on the couch
Adam came over and sat beside her facing her. He looked down and remained quiet
"Adam"she said getting his attention
Adam looked up at her "Looking at you right now I hate myself for letting my mind to even think this, like I know you better than anyone but if you saw everything through my eyes you'd think this too"
Sally just looked at him waiting for him to continue
Adam sighed "There were things I wanted to talk to discuss with you but I couldn't bring myself to do that . I just got you back. And I let it go until.."
"I understand but what I'm trying to figure out is how does Eden plays a part in this"she asked
Adam turned and looked out the window "It's silly now but when I took her to apologize to Wyatt we were on our way home"he paused and chuckled "You know our girl speaks what's on her mind"
Sally smiled
"She said out of no where .. she was happy mommy wasn't starting a new family"
"A new family" Sally said confused
"Apparently a friend at camp got a step dad and soon a new sibling.That was on her mind when everything happened .. with Coco and when she saw Wyatt"
"That makes sense" she said "So that's all it took our daughter's worry for you to question whether I cheated"Sally had tears in her eyes
"We just found out about the baby and how you reacted to it was strange. You had a panic attack...I thought maybe you freaked out because it wasn't mine"he looked down
"Adam, my reaction was because I was scared to deal with postpartum depression again. I mean I'm just now feeling like myself again"she looked into his eyes "It wasn't because the baby wasn't yours"she said softly
"I know.. now, I'm so sorry I made this into something..I hate I accused you of cheating" he took her hand
"It's okay"she sighed leaning against the couch
"No it's not Sal. That was probably the worst thing I have ever said to you"
"Did it feel good hearing it" she shook her head "But I deserve it"
"No you don't"he wiped her tears "Not after everything you dealt with,you didn't need your husband questioning your loyalty"he said
They stared at each other for a few minutes. Sally noticed something in Adam's eyes
"Adam, what is it" she asked resting her head in her hand
"It's nothing" he said
Sally scooted closer and grabbed his chin "Don't lie to me I can see you're holding something in "she said "Talk to me"
Adam looked away but leaning into her hand
"You are my whole world Sal and I got a glimpse  of you not being in my life ..I didn't like it"tears were in his eyes
Sally just leaned over and kissed his cheek "You are my world too and our kids"she looked down and sighed "And I'm sorry I have been an wife to you recently"
"Sally you aren't"he shook his head
"You can deny all you want but I have, cause I never really thought about how this effected you"she said softly "You have been so concerned with me. I should have been concerned about you"
"I'm strong Sally I handle things on my own well"he told her
Sally cupped his face "With me you don't have to be"she whispered resting her forehead against his "Right here and right now I want you to let it out, every emotion you're feeling, if you need to scream do it"she told him
Adam placed his hands over hers and stared into her eyes. He then finally broke tears pouring down his face. Sally wrapped her arms around him and laid them back on the couch She was soothing him as he sobbed

After a while Adam calmed down his head resting on her chest holding onto Sally's waist. Sally was rubbing circles on his back her lips resting on his head
"You're shirt is wet"he said with a little chuckle
"I'll take your tears over our son's spit up any day" she giggled looking down at him kissing his head
Adam sat up and began moving hair out of her face. Sally watched him and knew what he was thinking
"Hey"she said getting him to look at her "We are okay"she whispered
Adam smiled and gently kissed her lips then laid back down. He took her hand running his thumb over her wedding ring
"We've been through a lot"he said
"Yes we have"she said running her fingers through his hair "Hey Adam can you look at me for this"she asked
Adam lifted his head up and looked at her
"You Adam Newman are the only person I want to do life with there is no one else, there was never anyone else"she smiled "We have been through a lot of challenges but we have faced them all as a team"she looked down "I know this last one I didn't...but you did get me through it"
He smiled nodded
"Also I may not have shown it but a part of me was excited to carry another baby"she leaned into him "Your baby"she smiled
"You were overwhelmed I understand"he said stroking her cheek
"I'm okay, things happen for reason"she told him
"I love you Sal"he whispered as he cupped her face
"I love you too"she kissed him
"I think we should head home. Connor has been with the kids for a while"she said
"Let me take my wife home"he stood up bringing her up with him

   They brought home Chinese for dinner. They were all sitting on the living room floor. Mazie was sitting next to Connor, Haddie on Sally's lap. While Adam was holding Wes and Eden next to him. Sally just watched her children as they giggled. Eden was fed Adam a egg roll, they all laughed when some fell out and landed on Wes's head. Adam locked eyes with Sally and winked
"So Con when do you head back"Sally asked as she ate
"Tomorrow morning" he replied
"What no"the girls whined
"Girls your brother needs to go back home and back to school"Adam told them
"But his home is here with us"Mazie said
"You're right Maz" Connor said bringing her close to him wrapping his arm around her "I promise I'll be back soon" he told her

    The next morning the girls got up to say goodbye to Connor still half asleep. Connor kissed them
"Goodbye I love you now go back to sleep" he told them
They all went over and laid on the couch
Adam and Sally and Connor giggled
"They would have cried if they woke up to you gone" Adam said
Connor nodded, he then looked at Wes who was drinking a bottle in Sally's eye
"Bye little bro, you are the true early bird in the family" he chuckled "I promise to be around a lot so you aren't  surrounded by all the girls all time"
"Have a safe flight sweetie"Sally hugged him
"Son are you sure you don't want me to drive you to the airport"Adam asked
"Nah, I'm good. I'll text you when I get checked in and when I land"
"Sounds good" Adam hugged him "love you"
"Love you too" he said
Adam and Sally watched the Uber pull out of the driveway waving goodbye. Sally glanced down at Wes
"Hey Adam" she said softly
"Yes babe" he said looking over at her
"I just thought something, our sons are the perfect bookends for this chapter..us having kids"
Adam smiled and wrapped his arm around her "They are"he kissed her head "We are so blessed with these babies"he rubbed Wes's back
"Thank you for all of them" Sally said
