"Your heart will know"

      It was Christmas Eve. Sally took the girls to the Christmas market on town. She was walking through it
"This is Mommy's first time here at this time of year"she told them.
Sally got some homemade applesauce and sat in the bench
"This was one of Daddy's favorites, want to try some" she asked
  She fed Haddie first, Haddie tasted it and got a huge smile on her face "It's good isn't it, better then the canned stuff" she laughed
  Sally fed Mazie some next. Mazie got a taste of it and took the spoon from Sally. Sally giggled "Daddy would be so happy to know his girls approve" she said finishing up what was left and then cleaning their faces
   Sally sat there for a few minutes watching everyone "Are you girls ready to explore some more"she stood up and for a second she felt dizzy "Woah, Mommy must have gotten up too fast"she told them trying to shake the feeling "Come on" she said as she started walking

Angelo took Alex to the same market, they walked into a coffee shop
"We won't stay long, just thought I'd see if any of this looks familiar to you" Angelo told him
Alex nodded
"It's been awhile since I have been able to make it here this time of year, have you been here before" he asked
Alex looked around and out the window "I remember coming to something like this when I was a kid"he said
An older woman came to the table
"Well this is a nice surprise Angelo it's been too long"she smile "Dod you get e craving for my famous pie" she laughed
"Well hello Mary, I had a vacation so I thought I come spend time from my home away from home"
Alex started seeing flashes of a house he recognized. But shook it off
"I'm helping a patient out, he lost his memory"he looked at Alex "Alex this is the famous Mary, Mary this is Alex Wilson" he told them
"Nice to meet you, I hope you get your memories back" she smiled "I'll bring you two pieces of that pie, on the house"she walks away

Sally went to a booth with all types of ornaments
"Mommy should get you two your first Christmas ornaments huh" she looked at all of them
The lady at the booth came up to her "How old are they"she asked
"Almost eight months" Sally told her
She got all giddy "Oh so this is their first Christmas" she said
"Yes"Sally said trying not to cry
"Do you live around here, or just visiting"she asked Sally
"Oh we"Sally paused "We're visiting but thinking of moving"she said looking at the girls
"Well you'll love it, we have charming area"
"Ya, my husband grew up here. So it's special to us"she told her
"Well feel free to look around and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask"she smiled
   Sally browsed the ornaments, she picked up two little snowmen for Mazie and Hadley. Then another one caught her eye
"Girls look, this looks like are family in snowman form" she giggled "We need to get it"
Sally went up to the counter
"All set"the lady asked
Sally nodded
"Would you like me to personalize these for you" she asked holding the two snowmen
"If it's not too much trouble"Sally told her
"Oh not at all, it's my favorite part of this job. What are their names" she asked
"Mazie..M A Z I E and Hadley H A D L E Y"she told her
"Oh those a such beautiful names for two beautiful little angels" she said
"Thank you" Sally said
A few seconds later she was done and wrapped them up for her
"Here you go dear"she handed them to her "And Merry Christmas"she smiled

Sally was heading to the car when Mazie started crying. Sally got her out of the stroller
"Oh Maz, what's wrong" she bounced her  Mazie's head was on Sally's shoulder as she was trying to sooth her
"Dada" Mazie said
This caught Sally off guard she pulled Mazie to look at her "What did you just say. Mazie Moo that was first word" she started to cry
"Dada.. Dada"Mazie said said again this time reaching behind Sally
Sally turned and saw someone who looked like could be Adam he had a beard though, he was limping but as fast as she saw him, he was gone
Mazie started crying again, Sally soothing her "Adam" she said softly still looking in the direction

Sally came home. She and the girls were on the couch as a fire was going. Sally trying to process what just occurred
"It couldn't be, we didn't see him" she said "It's my mind playing tricks on me"she looked at them "That's it, it was only what I wanted to see, because of everything" she was biting her nail
Sally looked at the bag with the ornaments on the table "You know what, lets hang our ornaments. We need to celebrate Christmas in our own way"
Sally picked up Haddie first "Since you born first lets do yours" she said picking up her ornament and bringing her to the tree. They hung it up "It's say "Hadley's First Christmas"" she kissed Haddie's cheek "Mommy loves Bean" she whispered
Sally placed Haddie in the playpen and went and go Mazie so she could have her moment
"Alright Mazie Moo your turn"she brought her over to the tree.Mazie was fascinated with the lights. Sally smiled "Are those pretty" they have placed Mazie's ornament next to Haddie's "See "Mazie's First Christmas"" she pointed at it
Sally put Mazie in the playpen with Hadley and sat beside it "You two are the best gift Daddy gave me, last Christmas you were I here" she placed her hand on her stomach, she looked down and paused for a second "Do you two want to know Mommy's secret now"she asked grabbing the other ornament she bought "This ornament Mommy bought it's special"she smiled at it "This little snowman family it represents us, you see there's your brother Connor" she pointed at the medium size snowman "And here is you two" she showed them "And here's Mommy and Daddy snowman"she started crying "It's special because the Daddy snowman is holding a little baby snowman"her voice broke "And that represents your brother or sister"she said softly
Mazie and Hadley didn't look interested they were playing with their toys
"Mommy is having another baby..It's the first time I said that out loud" she got up and put the ornament on the tree
Sally placed her hands on her stomach "You are also the best gift Daddy gave me little one"she smiled

Alex was laying on the couch thinking "Who is she, why do I keep seeing her. And what house was that" he thought
Angelo came over and handed him a drink "Thought you could use this"
"Thanks" he said
"Maybe forcing yourself to try and figure out who she is, she could be just your imagination or something. Why don't you try to think of something else"
"No, she isn't in my imagination she is someone. I just need to place it" he rubbed his head

   Sally was laying in bed with the girls. Mazie on her left and Haddie on her right
"This baby in here"she placed her hand on her belly "Mommy didn't want to tell anyone she wanted to hide it" she cried "Not because she didn't want it because I do, Mommy didn't want any pity" she said
Hadley rested her head on Sally, Sally kissed her "Aw thanks Bean"
She looked over and saw the photo album, she picked it up and started looking through it
"Look girls this is your grandma Hope, Daddy's Mommy. Wasn't she pretty"she looked at Mazie "You were named after her Maz, Mazie Hope" she kissed Mazie's head
She turned the page "This was Daddy when he was your age" she looked at Haddie "I see so much of him in you" Sally smiled
When she flipped to the next page and couple photos fell out, she picked them up
"Oh Adam" she looked up and tears fell "When did you put these in here" she said. Sally showed them to the girls "These were from the last time Mommy and Daddy were here" she pointed "You two were in there" she pointed to her stomach on the picture
Mazie saw Adam in the picture "Dada ..Dada, Dada" she said all excited hitting the pictures
"Yes, Mazie it's Daddy" she gave her a kiss
"Dada .. Dada.Dada" Mazie just kept saying
Sally froze looking between the pictures and her daughter
"Wait a minute" she looked at Mazie "You did see him" she looked at the photo "Are you really alive"

Alex typed in "his" name on the laptop and no searches related to him came up
"Who am I" he asked himself
He closed the laptop and decided to call it a night.
He fell asleep instantly
He was in a white room looking at three doors. One said "Dark Side" then middle door said "Past" and the last door said "Your Love"
"What is this, where do I go" he said
"Adam" a voice echoed and someone came up to him
He looked at them "Its you" he said
"We meet again" she said
"Why are you here" he asked
"For you" she smiled and took his hand  "It's going to be  okay"
"I don't know who I am, everything is so confusing" he said
She looked at the doors "I know it is,but you will figure it out once open one of those doors"she said softly
"But what one do I chose"
She smiled "Your heart will know" she kissed his hand
She started to fade away from him
"Wait where are you going" he panicked
"Don't worry you'll find again" she said then she was gone

With out them realizing it they both had the same dream. They opened their eyes at the same time
Alex stared at the ceiling as everything with Sally flashed in his mind but he still couldn't place who she was

Sally shot up in bed hyperventilating
"What was that"she quickly grabbed her phone
"Hello"a voice was heard all groggy
"I need you, I need your help" Sally said trying to catch her breath
Nick sat up in bed "Sally what's wrong are you okay" he asked
"I think I saw Adam" she told him
Nick was stunned
"I can't shake the feel...ing that it wasn't in my head. I need your help Nick"
"Okay where are you" he asked
"The farmhouse in Kansas"she said moving her hair back "You can't tell anyone"she warned him
"I won't I promise. I want you to try and rest okay. I'll be there as soon as I can tomorrow"he told her
Sally hung up and laid back down. She rested her hands on her stomach
"Is our love really that strong" she asked herself
