"Sally Newman do you want a new house for Christmas"

     The Spectra Newman family room looked like Christmas threw up, everything was scattered everywhere. They were all sitting on the floor, Mazie and Hadley were over by Adam while Eden was sitting with Sally
Adam pulled out there stocking "Should we change things up and put these on the staircase"he asked Sally
"No, they should be where they have always been over the fireplace"she told him as she pulled out the pillows "Eddy can you go put these on the couch and chair please"she asked handing them to her
"Okay Mama"she getting up
"Oh look it's our Santa plate" Mazie said pulling it out of the tote
"Oh man do you girls remember making this"Adam asked taking it from her "They were what three" he asked looking at Sally
Sally nodded "Yep and Eden was two"she said
"Daddy's handprint is Santa"he told them placing his hand over the one on the plate "And each of you did three reindeer"he smiled
"Where's mine" Eden asked coming next to him
"Yours are these three"he pointed
"Who did Rudolph"Mazie asked
Sally gave Adam a look "Um we.. don't remember"she said "We only remember Eden's because of how tiny her hands were"she add
"What did Mommy do"Haddie asked
"Oh Mommy did the writing "Merry Christmas"" Adam said
Hadley leaned against Adam
"You tired Bean" he asked rubbing her head
She nodded, Adam took her in his arms
"Let's go take a nap then Bean"he kissed her head
"But Christmas" she mumbled
"Don't worry we won't do anything without you. Go rest Bean" Sally said
Adam carried her up to her room
"What do we do now"Eden asked
"You can go play if you'd like"Sally said playing with the stockings
"Okay Mama"Eden said running off
Sally watched as Mazie came over and hugged her
"Oh Maz"she said in surprise hugging her as she rubbed her back
Mazie gripped onto her mom tighter and buried her head in Sally's neck
"Mazie Moo, you okay"Sally asked softly
Mazie nodded into her
Sally just held her and rocked her back and forth
Adam looked on for a moment before he enter
"She's asleep"he saw Sally's concern "She is fine I checked her temp no fever"
Sally smiled still holding Mazie, Mazie's head resting on Sally's shoulder
"Hey Maz, wanna help me hang these up"Sally asked
"But Hadley.."she said
"Shh.."Sally put her fingers up to her lips, making Mazie giggle
One by one Sally and Mazie hung them up
"Oh no"Mazie freaked out
"What's wrong Mazie"Adam asked
"Bentley doesn't have a stocking he needs one"she told him
"Well Daddy needs to go pick up  a new tree, I'll go do that now while your sister is sleeping.So I'll pick him up one"he said
"Okay good"she smiled
"It's going to be weird not have a real tree this year"she said
Adam came over and pulled her into him "I know"
"But I'm just so thankful Hadley's home"she said trying not to cry in front of Mazie
"Me too"he kissed her. He looked at Mazie "Mazie Moo do you want to come with me, you can pick out Bentley's stocking"he asked
Mazie shook her head "I want to stay with Mommy"she told him.
Both Adam and Sally were shocked by her response
"Wow okay..I see who the new favorite is"he said grabbing his keys, he smiled then left
"Mazie would you like to help me pop the popcorn for the tree. So we are ready for when Daddy comes back"she asked
"Yes"she said all excited "Should I go ask Eddy"
"Sure go ask her, just don't wake Haddie please"
Mazie ran up the stairs

Adam walked into Crimson Lights, Jack was sitting at a table
"Hey Adam how is it going"he asked
"It's going better now that Hadley is home"
"Oh wow she came home"he said
"Yes she came home yesterday"Adam smiled
"That is great news, I'm sure you and Sally are over the moon" he said
"Yes"Adam said"Haddie wanted to be with home for Christmas since missing Halloween and Thanksgiving"
"Well her coming home is the best present you two could get"Jack said
"It sure is, Hadley wanted to decorate so that's what we are doing"he smiled
"Sounds fun"Jack smiled back "Look when you and Sally are up for it I want you two to take a weekend away at my cabin. Just tell me when alright"
"Thank you that's very generous of you Jack ... thank you"
"Give Sally my best" he said
Adam nodded
Sharon came over "Hey Adam what can I do for you"
"Do you have any muffins and brownies left"he asked
"I do, but give me a minute and I'll give you some fresh ones"
"Aw thanks"he smiled

When Adam returned home he heard laugher coming from the kitchen. When he walked in he found his girls sitting at the table throwing popcorn at each other giggling. Hadley was sitting on Sally's lap throwing at her sisters
"And why are we throwing popcorn"he asked setting down the goodies
"Mommy started it"Mazie pointed at her mom
"Oh Mommy you are a bad girl" Adam acted ashamed of her
"What they were teasing me about eating it"Sally acted hurt and eating another piece
Adam came up behind her and kissed her head "A craving" he asked softly
Sally smiled up at him and fed him a piece
"Girls let's go decorate the tree before Mommy eats all of the popcorn"he teased her

They were all in a circle finishing up stringing the popcorn. Adam and Sally watched their girls work together they let them do it themselves. Adam caught Eden feeding some to Bentley
"Eden Rain" he said sternly
Eden looked over knowing she was caught "Sorry, but he was feeling left out"
"Well Daddy got him a stocking, besides Mommy's already eating the popcorn we don't need anyone else"he smirked at her
Sally looked hurt "Well it's thanks to your baby"she said throwing a piece at him which he caught in his mouth

When they finished all three girls were sitting on the couch eating their muffins. Adam and Sally were putting the finishing touches on the tree
"How is it you found the biggest artificial tree in Genoa City"Sally chuckled
"Hey it may not be as big as Rockefeller center but my girls deserve the best"he said
Sally came up to him and placed her hands on his shoulders leaning her head on him "How is it you spoil them with out spoiling them"she laughed
"That's my talent as Girl Dad"he bent down and pulled out some mistletoe
"Daddy what's that"Hadley asked biting her muffin
"Oh this is a magic plant"he gave Sally a questionable look
Sally just laughed at him
"What does it do"Eden asked
"Well you see you hang it up usually over a doorway and if two people get caught under it"he leaned forward "They have to kiss" he whispered
Adam held it up over him and Sally smirking
"Adam nice try"she playfully pushed him and tried moving away but he pulled her into him
"Come on give the girls an example"he said
"Fine"she said then leaned up and kissed him
The girls giggled as they pulled away. Adam pushed his nose against Sally's cheek
"Alright girls go get ready for bed"Sally clapped
All of them jumped off the couch and came over by them. Adam held the mistletoe up and kissed them as the passed by
"Oh girls this is important if someone tries to kiss you and you don't want to, you can say no"he told them
They nodded and went up the stairs

Later that night after the girls were asleep Adam and Sally were downstairs packing up the the totes to store away. Sally stood by the fireplace running her hand over Hadley's stocking
Adam looked over "Sal you okay"
"Ya"Sally gave him a smile "I'm just thinking about how different this Christmas could have been. I know she can't be around many people yet. But Adam we could have been at that hospital for Christmas"
Adam set the tote down and came up and wrapped his arms around her from behind. She leaned on him as he ran his rubbed her arms
"I know it's hard not to think about. That's why I wanted to go all out and give her the best"he rested he's head on hers
"You are the best Adam"she took his hand and kissed it
They stood there for a minute
"Oh I almost forgot I have Bentley's stocking"he went over and grabbed it
Sally hung it next to Eden's, she looked over and saw him standing there with something behind his back
"Adam Newman what do you have there"she asked
"It's not the official one, but someone else needs a stocking"he said pulling out a little stocking "A place holder for Little one"he smiled
Sally giggled"You're a dork"
Adam came over and placed it in between his and Sally's "Our last Christmas as a family of five" he smiled "I do think next Christmas we might need to place them on the staircase"he said
"Or we could just buy a bigger house"she smirked
"Sally Newman do you want a new house for Christmas" he asked
"What gave you that idea"she smirked and wrapped her arms around his waist
Adam smiled at her
"I love our house we built a life here it was actually my first real home."she sighed "But we out grew this house Adam. I know some day Mazie and Hadley are going to want separate rooms it's better to be prepared"she told him.
"Okay" he kissed her forehead "We will start looking"
"Now you really are the best" she kissed his cheek "But we don't have move right away, just later on okay" she said softly
"Sounds good" he said, he started stroking her bump "Hey Little one do you want your own room"he asked
"Right now they kind of already do"she joked
"Are you calling yourself an Airbnb"he chuckled
Sally started laughing and leaned on him "Petty much"
Adam went over to the tote and went though something before he found what he was looking for
Sally was curious "Adam did you actually save that .."
"You mean this bow I put on your bump when you were pregnant with Mazie  and Haddie... sure did" he said
He came over and knelt in front of her "I wasn't able to do this with Eden"he said placing it on her bump smiling up at her "Next Christmas is going to amazing"
Sally ran her fingers through his hair smiling at him with tears in her eyes "I can't wait"she said softly
Adam wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her bump
