"I didn't realize something so simple and precious would be difficult to do"

A few weeks have passed, Sally has been going to therapy which has been helping sometimes Adam would go with her.He was so proud of his wife. After today's session they went out to lunch before picking up the girls
Adam was staring at Sally as she was looking at the menu she looked up at him
"Adam why are you staring" she looked at him.
"I'm so proud of you I just want you to know that"he said
"Thanks"she smiled
"It's not easy to talk about past traumas, believe I know"he took her hand "You amaze me Sal, watching you the past weeks I know it wasn't easy to but you have become so strong"he said
"I never wanted to be that who is codependent on her husband .. that's not me"
"Sally,you needing me during this time isn't you being codependent on me. That's what I'm here for"he smiled
Sally got emotional "You have been my rock because dealing with this while almost nine months pregnant is hard"
"I know which is another reason I'm in awe"he smiled "And when we get home I'll give you the most amazing massage"he eyed
Sally sighed "Oh I'm going to hold you to that. Now enough of this deep conversation"she chuckled "Let's enjoy this time alone" Sally smiled
"Sounds good"he said looking back at the menu

After they ate they went home. Adam looked at his phone as Sally laid on the couch
"Coco just texted saying as soon as the girls are up from their nap she'll bring them home" he told her
"Sounds good"Sally closed her eyes
Adam came over and sat next to her and lifted her legs and rested them on his lap and began to rub them
"What are you thinking about"he said softly
"Why couldn't we be seahorses"she mumbled
Adam ran his hand up her leg "I wish we were too. I hate I can really do much to help"he said "Do you want that massage now" he asked
Sally opened her eyes "I have another idea in mind that will help"she said
"Okay and what is that"he asked
"You could try and get this baby out"she smirked
Adam was surprised "Are you implying what I think you are implying"he asked
Sally sat up and leaned over as much as she could "Yes"she whispered
"I could try"he leaned over and kissed her lips "Are you sure you want to go into labor"
Sally nodded then kissed Adam,he deepened the kiss. Lowering her back down on the couch. Before they could go any further the doorbell rang. Sally groaned and Adam laughed into her shoulder
"It's going to have to wait for now" he gave her another kiss and getting up
Sally sat up and reached for him "Adam help"she said
Adam pulled her off the couch and walked with his hands around her as they went to the door

   They answered the door and Coco was holding Mazie and holding Haddie's hand who was standing beside her. She walked over to Sally
Sally struggled to pick her up and smiled at her.
  Since Sally's baby bump had gotten bigger Hadley's hasn't been able to cuddle like she likes to  which upset her. She reached for Adam
"Come here Bean" he took her and kissed her cheek
Sally got sad "Come in Coco" she told her walking away
Coco and Adam looked at each other noticing Sally's mood change, they walked into the other room
Sally sat on the couch crying
"Sally why are upset"Coco asked
"I can't hold my daughter or hold her the way she likes"she looked at her bump "I'm so done"
Adam placed Hadley by her toys and went over to Sally
"Sally you know this isn't forever pretty soon you'll be able to cuddle Hadley hopefully in a few weeks"
Sally groaned
Adam rubbed her back "Sally can I ask what changed you were fine earlier"he asked
"I'm just tired Adam."she told him
Adam pulled her into him she rested her head on his shoulder
"Sally I know I don't know what it's like but I'd admire you. Not because you are my sister but because you're doing it all on top of being pregnant, you are working and being a mom two those beautiful girl, who love you"Coco said
"I'm sorry"Sally cried
"Sally there is nothing to be sorry about. You are allowed like Coco I don't know what it's like and I'd probably would be complaining non stop "he said
Causing Sally to laugh "You probably are right, thanks for that" she kissed his cheek

   Later on they were in the pool Adam thought it might help relieve some of the pressure
Adam was holding her she leaned back
"Adam, I hope you know my meltdown earlier it doesn't mean I totally hate being pregnant"she said
"I know, your body is going through a lot and this time other things happened"he looked at her
"Knowing that I get to carrying your baby is everything" she turned to  him
"Can I ask you is this time around easier with one or not"he caressed her cheek
"Well I do love not having a baby in my rib cage for half the pregnancy" she laughed
Adam pushed her up gently against the wall of the pool and kissed her. He began to run his hand up her leg. As Sally kissed his neck
"You still want me to try and help Bug out" he asked  still kissing her
"Here" Sally pulled away and looked surprised
"No not here"he laughed too"But it would make a good story to tell them"
"Yes, please" she moaned "Try again"

After they laid on the bed holding hand catching their breath
"Anything"Adam asked looking over at her
"Besides Bug doing gymnastics... nope" she said laughing
Adam rolled on his stomach
"What are you gloating that you can do that and I can't" she pouted
"No,no, no I promise I just want to discuss something with Bug and I needed to be close" he began to talk to her bump "Hey Bug first Daddy is so sorry for what just happened"he smirked
Sally giggled "Mommy isn't"
"Oh I'm aware"he looked up at her then went back to talking to the baby "Look I know Mommy is being a little impatient and wants you out and so do I but I can already tell you are like Mommy you do things on your own time"he kissed her bump "We will be here waiting"
Sally was crying
"Sally why are you crying now" he asked softly
"I love you and I love how patient you are"she told him
Adam slid up to her and kissed her
Sally quickly pulled away fro the kiss Adam looked puzzled
"Are you okay" he asked in concerned
"Yes Bug is just pressing on my bladder"she got up and ran to the bathroom

Adam entered the bathroom after she was done. He came up behind her, she looked at him through the mirror
"What are you up to"she asked
"Just stay there" he told her.
He placed his hands around her waist and carefully lifting her bump a little. Sally felt Instant relief she sighed and relaxed into Adam
"God I love you" she mumbled
Adam smiled "I had a feeling this would help a little"he said swaying them a little "Thanks for doing this for us"he kissed her neck "Not that you had a choice"he chuckled
Sally laughed "How long can you do this"she asked
"As long as you want"he said softly
"Can you feel the baby moving, they don't seem to like it"she chuckled
"No"he said stroking his thumbs
After a couple minutes Sally told him he could stop
Sally turned around and hugged him "Thanks"she said
"You are welcome" he rubbed her back

Sally was in the girls room rocking Hadley before bed
"Mommy promises you as soon as this baby is her she's gonna give you all the cuddles you want... just like you like Bean"she smiled at her
Adam stood in the doorway holding Mazie who was having her bottle watching Sally
"I didn't realize something so simple and precious would be difficult to do"she said
"Mama"Haddie smiled at her
Sally smiled back and kissed her head
"You see you aren't losing a bond with her... she's still your girl"Adam told her
Sally hugged her and look over at Adam "That she is"and smiled

It was during the night Sally woke up feeling uncomfortable. She sat up in bed and waited
"Adam"she said
Adam rolled over to look at her "What are you okay.."he asked
"I'm not ..sure"she said
Adam sat up with that response and turned on the light "What are you feeling, do you think you're in labor"he asked
Sally gasped and then groaned in pain
"Okay I'm going to take that as a yes" he shot out of bed "Have you been feeling like this long" he asked coming over to her side
Sally shook her head "probably a half hour"
"Alright I'm going to go get the girls"
"No .. no"Sally said through the pain "Don't wake them call Coco"she told him
Adam could tell she was in discomfort he help her up and she leaned on him
"You okay" he said holding her
Sally nodded into him, she looked at him
"Let's go have baby" he kissed her

It was almost 6:00am and they were heading home Sally was still pregnant. Adam looked over and took Sally's hand this got her to look at him
"This isn't my first baby so how could I realize it was heartburn and not labor"she said
"It's okay Baby" he said
Sally looked at her bump "Maybe Daddy is right, you are like me"
"It's not every day I hear you say that I'm right"he laughed "Just soak up these last moments with you and Bug"
Sally smiled at him "I will, I won't ask anymore to get them out" she leaned her head back and groan "I still would like them out though"
Adam shook his head and laughed then rubbed her shoulder
