"It's you and me little one"

   Sally and Audra were in Sally's  office going over everything for the meeting Audra was leaving for
"So even though I'll be on video chat I'd still like you to be there in person"Sally said
"Of course"Audra smiled
"So you have all the things you'll need the charts, the designs"Sally said a little nervous
"Yes I do,Sally relax" she said touching her hand
Sally sighed
Adam popped his head in her office
"Hey Babe, I'm heading out for the meeting would you like me to bring lunch back for you"he asked
"Yes please" Sally said all excited
"You got it" he looked at Audra "Have a safe flight"he tapped the door then left
"I should actually get going. I still need to get my suitcases. I will call you when I land"she hugged Sally
"I wish I was going, but I arrived at the cut off for flying" she pouted
"I know,I promise not to have to much fun" she winked
"Thanks" Sally giggled
Audra and Sally stood up, Sally wobbled a little
"Woah" she grabbed onto Audra for support
"You okay"Audra looked at her
Sally nodded "Yes..because this baby is sitting really low it's hard sometimes with balancing.. and I forget sometimes"she rubbed her bump "I'm so ready for this baby to be here" she let out a deep breath
"You have what another month" Audra asked
"Yes it can't come fast enough"Sally chuckled
"Bye" Audra laughed then left

  Sally was sketching some new designs over on the couch, she noticed the fabric she wanted was over on the desk. Sally got up and a sharpe pain went through her
"Oh" she said "They are Braxton hicks Sally you are okay" she told herself
She went about her day and was at her desk looking over the fabric thinking of her ideas for the design. The pain returned
"Ow" she leaned on the desk breathing through it "It's to early for this" she said as she sat down "Little one, you have to hold off a little bit longer okay" she rubbed her bump "You can't come just yet"
She waited a few minutes before  continuing to work. She stood at her desk sketching when another contraction hit her
"Oh God" she groaned gripping the edges of her easel "So this is it okay.. okay" she said catching her breath " We need to call Daddy.. if this is truly happening we need to go home" she said going to get her phone

   Adam was in the middle of his meeting across town, when he saw Sally calling
"Excuse me gentleman my wife is calling me" he said before answering "Hey Sally I'm almost done with the meeting then I'll be back with your lunch, do you think the baby can hold off a little longer" he playfully chuckled
"Adam..."she said in a tone that worried him
"Sally are you okay... what's wrong"
"I think we need to go home"she moaned from another contraction "I'm pretty sure... I'm labor"she said
"Woah okay ... I'm leaving now. I'll be there as soon as I can"
"Okay" she cried
"Sal baby what's wrong"
"It's too early.. it's not supposed to happen yet" she took a deep breath This feels different Adam.."she cried
"Everything will be fine.. I love you" he said softly before hanging up
"I'm so sorry to cut this meeting short ... my wife is in labor"he got up and raced out
He bumped into Elena in the process
"Woah Adam is everything okay"she noticed his frantic state
"Sally called she's in labor Elena"he told her
"Is she home alone"she asked
He shook his head "No she's at the office,30 minutes away... I need to get to her"he panicked
"Let me come with you , I can help until you guys get home"she offered
Adam nodded,then they both ran to the car

     Sally was pacing around trying to keep her mind off things calming herself down
"Okay Adam is on his way. We have time to go home. Then we can welcome you soon okay" she said looking down "You can hold off a few hours right Little one" she asked
She was hit with the biggest contraction she's ever had, she doubled over and bringing her onto the floor
"Ahhh" she cried out "I guess that's a no" she nervously laughed as she leaned against the couch as she sat on the ground
Sally stayed focus on her breathing, she was rubbing circles on her bump
"Was this your plan Little one, you give me the easiest pregnancy then give me hell during labor huh " she chuckled. She thought for a second "Okay I need to prepare just incase Daddy doesn't get here in time.." she said as she finally got up
  Sally began looking but couldn't find any blankets or towels in her office. She got frustrated
"Why didn't me and your father ever have sex in here"she said. She noticed the stack of material "I guess this will have to do"she grabbed it
Her phone went off again, she answered it
"Adam are you .. are you here" she asked a little out of breath
"Babe" he paused "There's an accident so I'm stuck in traffic. I'm trying to get there .. but you might need to call Coco or an ambulance" he told her
"No .. I'm not having this baby at the hospital" she said
"Sally I know this isn't what we planned but I don't want you alone"he said
"No Adam you don't understand "she gasped "I mean I won't make it to the hospital" she said all frantic
"What are you sure.. how long have you been in labor Sally" he asked
"I don't know Adam .. but this baby is coming fast"she gasped when her water broke "Adam .. my water just broke"she panicked

"Okay" he said reassuring "I'm not far from the office I'll run to you okay"he looked at Elena
She nodded
They got out of the car and began to run
"Sir, you can't leave your car here"a man said
"My wife is having a baby NOW.. I have to get to her"
The man looked at Elena confused
"I'm not his wife... she's alone at work" she told him as she pushed Adam to continue to run

   Sally was in the middle of another contraction leaning on the arm rest of the couch
"This is going to be som.. some story to tell"she said. "I might be doing this myself"she said coming to the realization "You are strong Sally. You can do this" she sat on the couch
Sally felt another contraction coming "Mmmmm"she moaned "I can do this"she said laying her head back against the couch
The contraction passed, there was more  pressure from the baby
"Mommy can feel you coming"she adjusted herself "It's you and me little one"she said breathing heavily
She was hit with intense pain and cried in agony.. bringing her back into the floor.She had enough strength the hit Adam's contact

  Adam immediately answered the phone as he and Elena continued to run
"Baby we are almost at the office"she said
"You aren't gon..ma make it..THE BABY IS COMING NOW"she screamed during a contraction
Adam stopped dead in his tracks "Wait are you sure"he asked
"Yes.. I can feel them.. Oh God" she cried
Adam began running faster "Okay focus on my voice..can you do that baby"
"Hmm"she said breathing heavily
"I'm right here with you .. I see the office okay I'm on my way"he ran faster
"Adam .. I feel like I need to push" she cried.She leaned against the table as she was adjusting herself to deliver the baby
"I believe in you Babe. You got this you're so strong and in control" he told her
She began pushing, it broke Adam to hear her in pain
"That's my girl" he said

   Sally began crying for Adam as she was pushing
"Adam it hurts"she cried
"I know Sally focus on this baby. Focus on holding them you are so close"he said softly
"I need you ..he.re"she moaned
"I'm walking into the office now .. I'll be there in a second" he said
"Don't hang up"she screamed
"Never" he said
           ************
   Adam and Elena raced up the stairs they could hear Sally screaming
"Sally we are here.."he said and then saw the sight and rushed over next to her "I'm here .. I got you"
Elena went in front of her
"Elena it happened so fast" Sally said crying
"I know it's okay..you are doing it, you got this" she encouraged her
Once Sally felt Adam behind her she leaned against him for support as she continued to deliver the baby. Adam was moving her hair out of her face
"Sally, you are doing so good.. this baby is almost out I'm sure you can feel it"Elena smiled up at her "Breathe in and out" she told her
Sally was focused as she continued to push, the next thing Sally knew the baby landed in her hands. She froze
"Oh God"she was in shock
"You did it Sally, your baby is here"Elena said  as she was  cleaning the baby off a little
"Oh Sal, you did it. You actually delivered our baby"
Sally was still in shock, Adam brought her into him so she could lay against him. Elena laid the baby against Sally
"It's here.. the ba.by is here" she said catching her breath
"Yes they are"Elena said smiling
Sally looked down and kissed the baby's head
"I told you it was you and me little one" she said softly
The baby let out a loud cry
"Well hello"Adam smiled,rubbing circles on their back
Elena called for the ambulance.As Adam and Sally admired the baby
Sally looked up at Adam "You're so sweaty"she said
"Same to you,but we have a good reason" he chuckled "Look what you brought into the world. Sal, it's our rainbow baby"he kissed her head "I'm so proud of you, you did this all on your own" he said as his lips were still on her head
It suddenly hit Sally "Why did this happen so fast. One minute labor started and the next their here" she was  freaking out
"Sally .. Sally look at me"Elena said softly "This happens for some  woman who have had babies before. Their bodies just know what to do"she said trying calm her
Adam wrapped his arms around her making her feel secure
"Everything happened so fast .."Sally said as her voice was breaking "We don't ...even know what we had"
"May I"Adam asked
Sally nodded
"A little boy,a little girl which one will you be" he said all excited before looking
Adam peeked at the baby and got a big smile on his face "Sally.. it's a.."

    Before Adam could finish everything started to get blurry and echo for Sally
"Ad.. Adam"she said all shaky
Adam looked at her and saw how pale she was "Sally what's wrong. Elena what is happening"he got worried
"Adam take the baby" Elena instructed
"Sally .. Sally stay with me"he said
Sally began to lose consciousness
"Don't close your eyes Sal, look at me focus on me, focus on my voice "he said while  trying to stay calm
"Elena what is happening" he looked at her
Elena was examining Sally "I don't want you to freak out but she's losing blood"she grabbed her phone "I need an ETA on that ambulance" she yelled
"Oh God"his heart stopped and his focus went back to Sally "Baby .. Baby you are strong okay.. you have to fight to stay awake. Look how strong you are,you delivered our rainbow baby" he cried
"I'm .. so.. tired" she said softly
"I know you are..you can't sleep okay.. not yet . Look at this miracle focus on them"he said holding the baby close to her
Sally looked over and gave a small smile. She slowly placed her hand on the baby
"You and me little one"she whispered before losing consciousness
"No Sally stay with me .. stay with us" Adam cried
