Later that night everyone loaded up into the cars and headed to the carnival downtown. "This is gonna be so much fun!" Alex said smiling. "You're just excited for the corn dogs..." Kara teased. "Shut up Kara...you know you like them too.." Alex said. "I do...I admit it! They're delicious!" Kara said smiling. A few minutes later they pulled into the parking grounds of the carnival and all five of them got out of Eliza's car and began walking towards the entrance of the carnival.
Kara and Lena headed off to get tickets for rides, while Alex and Andrea headed to the food vendors, and Eliza headed to the craft vendors. "Ok...where to first?" Lena asked. "Hmm maybe the slides...we can race..." Kara suggested. "Works for me....your gonna loose love." Lena says smiling. "Sure about that?" Kara asked teasingly. "Yes...looser has to win the other a giant toy from one of the games." Lena said. "You're on!" Kara said as she passed the tickets to the man at he the slide ride before they climbed up to the top of the slides.
Kara and Lena readied themselves on their sacks as they prepared to race down the slides. "One! Two! Three! GO!" Lena called out as she quickly pushed off flying down the slide before Kara could even get started. "Lena!" Kara grumbled as she began down the slide. By the time Kara made it half way down the slide Lena was already at the bottom doing a little victory dance. "You cheated!" Kara grumbled as she got off the slide. "Me? Cheat? No..." Lena said smirking. "Ugh...fine..come on let's go find a game for me to win you a giant stuffed animal." Kara grumbled. Lena smiled triumphantly as she took Kara's hand dragging her to the nearest game.
