Family Vacation Fiasco

Percy and Annabeth decided to finally take a well-deserved vacation to Montauk with Percy's mom Sally, her fiancé Paul, and Percy's dad Poseidon. They thought it would be a fun family bonding experience, but little did they know the chaos that awaited them.

As they arrived at the beach house, Poseidon immediately challenged Paul to a surfing competition. Paul, being the sporty type, accepted the challenge with enthusiasm, despite Sally's worried expression.

Meanwhile, Annabeth tried to teach Percy how to build a sandcastle, but Percy's water manipulation powers kept messing up their construction. Finally, Annabeth gave up and let Percy make a "water castle" instead, which promptly collapsed and soaked them both.

Over at the surfing competition, Poseidon's majestic waves clashed with Paul's determined effort, resulting in a hilarious wipeout that sent them both tumbling into the water. They emerged laughing, with Pual admitting defeat with a good-natured grin.

As the day went on, Sally tried to organize a barbecue, but Poseidon kept accidentally soaking the grill with water whenever he got excited about a story from his underwater adventures. The food ended up a bit soggy, but everyone laughed it off.

In the evening, they gathered around a bonfire, sharing stories and jokes. Percy and Annabeth looked at their quirky, mismatched family and realized that despite the mishaps, they wouldn't have it any other way.

And so, their family vacation may not have gone as planned, but it was filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of wet surprises.
