By me.

Annabeth stood with her arms crossed, staring at Percy with a mixture of disbelief and exasperation. The camp was in shambles—again.

Smoke curled lazily from the ruins of a once perfectly fine training pavilion, a tree was inexplicably singed, and two pegasi were still circling the sky like they'd just escaped some grand disaster.

"Percy," Annabeth began, eyes narrowing as she took in the destruction. "How could you possibly have gotten into this much trouble in one day?"

Percy, standing amidst the wreckage, gave her his signature sheepish grin, one hand rubbing the back of his neck. He looked around, taking in the scene as if seeing it for the first time.

"Not to brag," he replied, a mischievous twinkle in his sea-green eyes, "but it didn’t even take me the whole day!"

Annabeth groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose. "This isn't funny, Seaweed Brain. What happened?"

"Okay, so hear me out," Percy began, holding up his hands defensively. "It all started when I was practicing sword-fighting with the Stoll brothers. You know how they get when they make a bet? Well, Travis said he could take me down blindfolded. So naturally, I had to prove him wrong."

"Naturally," Annabeth echoed sarcastically, raising an eyebrow.

"So I might have accidentally knocked him into the new fountain. Which, by the way, should really have a guardrail or something. You can barely see where the water starts," Percy added as if it was a valid point.

"Percy…"

"Anyway, Connor thought it was hilarious and, you know, one thing led to another, and suddenly we're being chased by a herd of pegasi because I guess they thought it was a good idea to lasso one of them? For science, of course."

"For science," Annabeth repeated, the corner of her mouth twitching upward despite herself.

"Exactly! So then, we had to hide from Chiron, who was... less than thrilled with the whole 'pegasi wrangling ' thing." Percy paused. "Which, I will admit, might have gone smoother if the pegasi hadn’t stampeded through the pavilion."

Annabeth sighed, closing her eyes briefly. "And the singed tree?"

"That... That was Leo. He tried to help. You know how that goes." Percy shrugged, as if that explained everything.

Of course, it did. Annabeth shook her head, fighting the urge to laugh. Percy was staring at her, his grin hopeful, clearly waiting for some form of forgiveness.

"I swear," she muttered, "one day, you're going to break something we can't fix."

Percy grinned wider, stepping forward and wrapping his arms around her waist. "C'mon, Wise Girl, you know you love me. Besides, I'll fix everything. No problem. Well... except maybe the pegasi. They’re probably never going to trust me again."

Annabeth finally let out a reluctant laugh, leaning into him. "You're impossible, Percy Jackson."

She sighed dramatically, though her smile betrayed her. "Now, let's go explain this to Chiron before he bans you from the camp—again."

"After you," Percy said, grabbing her hand. "This time, it was only half my fault. Well, maybe three-quarters."

"Seaweed Brain."

"Love you too, Wise Girl."
