I Don't Want To Miss A Thing

(A/N) By me. The title is also a name of a song. I'll accept a prompt from the person who tells me the singer.

It started out innocently enough. Connor and Travis Stoll were known for their pranks and antics at Camp Half-Blood, always finding new ways to mess with their fellow campers. But this particular hobby wasn't about mischief, not really. It was something... a little more personal.

Over the years, the two brothers had developed an unspoken bond with Percy and Annabeth. They were, after all, one of the most famous couples at camp—if not the most famous.

Everyone loved watching their love story unfold, from the first time they sparred together to the countless adventures they shared. It was almost poetic, watching two of the camp's brightest heroes find their way to each other through every impossible trial.

But what Percy and Annabeth didn't know was that Connor and Travis had been secretly capturing every single moment of their relationship.

It started with a simple photo here and there—Percy pulling Annabeth away from a battle with a grin, Annabeth stealing a kiss from Percy as they stood on a cliff, their silhouettes framed by the sunset. It didn't seem like much at the time, but as the years went by, the collection grew.

A stolen glance. A quiet moment under the stars. Their first "I love you." And, of course, the moment they kissed for the first time in the dining pavilion.

The kiss was legendary, to say the least. Percy had been on cloud nine, and Annabeth, as always, had a look of both triumph and tenderness in her eyes. Time seemed to stand still, the world quieting around them as the camp erupted into cheers.

Of course, the Stolls had been there, sneaking behind, camouflaged by the chaos of the celebration. They had the perfect angle. They caught everything—every second. They didn't just photograph it; they'd even filmed the kiss, as cheesy as it was.

"This is going in the collection," Travis had whispered, his camera still rolling.

"Definitely," Connor had agreed, already imagining the future payoff.

Years later, after the couple had finally tied the knot, the Stolls had carefully pieced together their treasure trove of Percabeth moments. The photos, the videos, the moments that only they had witnessed—everything.

They created a CD with all the footage, a timeline of the couple's love story, from the early days of awkward tension and rivalry to the heartwarming, awe-inspiring conclusion of their wedding.

It was perfect.

The day of the wedding arrived, and, of course, the Stolls couldn't resist. They had arranged with Annabeth and Percy's approval, or more accurately, without their knowledge, for the CD to be played during the reception. The entire camp had gathered to celebrate, and, as the first slow song ended, the screen came to life.

At first, there was confusion as the camp attendees stared at a picture of Percy and Annabeth standing side by side, their eyes bright and hearts full.

The first image was a sweet candid shot, but before anyone could process it, the next image appeared—Percy awkwardly holding up a mug for a toast with Annabeth laughing beside him. And the next: their first battle together, back to back, facing the enemies with determination.

And then, there it was. The moment.

The first kiss. The camera zoomed in to show the light glinting off Percy's sea-green eyes, the way Annabeth's hand cupped his cheek as they leaned in. The crowd gasped, then burst into laughter and cheers.

Annabeth's face turned a deep shade of red, while Percy just looked embarrassed.

"Are you serious?" Annabeth muttered under her breath, nudging Percy in the ribs.

"Hey, I didn't know they were recording," Percy shot back, trying to hide his face in his hands, which only caused more laughter.

But the Stolls weren't done. Oh no, they weren't done at all.

The scene changed, and there, in a slideshow format, were every single Percabeth moment that Connor and Travis had ever taken—from quiet moments to wild adventures, from their first kiss to the proposal by the lake, and finally, the wedding day.

It was the story of a love that had bloomed against all odds. The entire camp watched in silence, a rare moment of emotion shared among the demigods.

"I can't believe they did this," Percy whispered to Annabeth, his arm around her waist, his head leaning against hers.

"I'm going to kill them," Annabeth muttered, though there was a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"Maybe not kill them," Percy said, grinning. "But we definitely need a prank in return."

The crowd erupted in applause, with loud cheers and whistles. Some campers even stood up and shouted their congratulations. As embarrassing as it was, Percy and Annabeth couldn't help but smile.

There was something beautiful in seeing their entire journey laid out like that, captured so lovingly by two of their most mischievous friends.
