By me.

“Attention, everyone!” Annabeth called, standing atop a rock in the clearing. The sun filtered through the trees, casting dappled light across the group gathered for their afternoon meeting. She straightened her posture, the typical Annabeth look of determination on her face.

Percy, sitting cross-legged on the grass, nudged Leo beside him. “Watch this,” he whispered with a conspiratorial grin.

“Okay, first of all,” Annabeth continued, oblivious to the scheming duo, “we need to discuss our strategy for the upcoming quest. It’s crucial that—”

“Hey, Annabeth,” Percy interrupted smoothly, leaning forward with a teasing glint in his eye, “are you a magician? Because every time I look at you, everyone else disappears.” He flashed a wink, and the group erupted in laughter.

Annabeth’s brow furrowed in annoyance. “Seriously, Percy? I’m trying to make an important announcement!”

“Important?” Percy raised an eyebrow. “Is it more important than how stunning you look today? Because that’s a tough one to beat.” He winked again, and Hazel, sitting nearby, gasped, her cheeks turning a bright shade of pink.

“Percy, this is not the time for your ridiculous lines!” Annabeth exclaimed, arms crossed.

“Not ridiculous,” Percy shot back with mock seriousness, “it’s called romance, Wise Girl. And I’m a professional.” He leaned back, feigning a dreamy expression. “What can I say? I’ve got a way with words.”

Annabeth tried to regain control. “Right. Anyway, as I was saying—”

“Annabeth, do you have a map? Because I just got lost in your eyes,” Leo joined in as he high-fived Percy, his tone dripping with exaggerated charm.

The laughter erupted again, and even Nico cracked a smile, which was a feat in itself. Annabeth buried her face in her hands, exasperated.

“Percy and Leo, please! This is serious! We need to focus on the quest! We’re going up against a Cyclops, not flirting at a dance.” She glared at them, but it was hard to maintain her seriousness with the way they were smirking.

“If snowflakes were kisses, I'd send you a blizzard” Percy said, and his grin only widened.

Hazel was nearly doubled over with laughter, her innocent demeanor betraying her as she clutched her stomach. “Percy, you’re terrible!” she squeaked out between giggles.

“I thought you liked me being terrible?” Percy said, feigning innocence.

“Not like this!” Annabeth interjected, but she couldn't help a small smile from breaking through her annoyance. “You’re impossible!”

“Impossible to resist?” Percy quipped, sending another wink her way, causing the laughter to swell again.

“Okay, enough!” Annabeth finally shouted, raising her hands in surrender. “I get it! You’re charming! But we really need to get serious here.”

“Serious?” Percy leaned in, whispering conspiratorially. “If you were a vegetable, you’d be a cute-cumber.”

“Ugh, you’re insufferable!” Annabeth exclaimed, rolling her eyes, but there was a tinge of amusement in her gaze.

“Insufferably charming, you mean,” he shot back, and even she had to stifle a laugh. "Annabeth, if beauty were time, you’d be eternity."

“Okay, everyone,” Annabeth said, trying to regain her composure, “let’s focus! The quest is important, and we need to—”

“Wait, wait!” Leo chimed in, raising a hand. “Can we at least appreciate how Annabeth is handling this like a pro? Annabeth, are you a parking ticket? Because you’ve got ‘FINE’ written all over you!”

“Okay, that’s it!” Annabeth said, bursting into laughter despite herself. “You all are impossible! If you can’t be serious for one moment—”

“Annabeth, are you tired?” Percy interrupted one last time. “Because you’ve been running through my mind all day!”

With that, the entire group burst into laughter again, and even Annabeth couldn't help but join in, shaking her head in defeat.
