(A/N) By me. The title is also a name of a song. I'll accept a prompt from the person who tells me the singer.

Annabeth Chase stood in the small bridal suite, her hands clasped tightly together. She was a vision in white, her dress perfectly tailored to her figure, yet her stormy grey eyes betrayed the nerves bubbling under her calm exterior.

"What if I mess up?" she blurted out, pacing the room in a flurry of ivory fabric.

Hazel Levesque, sitting gracefully by the vanity, raised her head and gave her a reassuring smile. "Annabeth, you won't mess up."

"But what if I forget my vows?" Annabeth continued, her tone rising. "What if I freeze? Or worse, what if I end up judo-flipping Percy?"

Hazel laughed, her golden eyes glinting as she held up a bag of ice. "That's what this is for." She handed the ice to Annabeth, then gently placed her hands on her friend's shoulders. "Relax. Deep breaths."

Across the room, Piper McLean was busy sorting through a collection of hairpins. She glanced at Annabeth, a teasing smirk on her face. "Hold still, your hair's coming undone."

Annabeth groaned but stood obediently as Piper worked her magic, weaving Annabeth's curls back into place. "There," Piper said finally, stepping back to admire her handiwork. "Perfect."

Annabeth stared at her reflection. The dress, the hair, the makeup—all flawless. Yet something still gnawed at her. "One more thing," she murmured.

Hazel tilted her head. "What?"

"Is the aisle spider-free?" Annabeth asked, dead serious.

For a moment, silence hung in the air. Then Hazel burst into laughter, nearly doubling over, while Piper clutched the vanity for support, her giggles echoing around the room.

"Of course you'd worry about that," Piper managed through her laughter. "Don't worry, Percy triple-checked. And knowing him, he probably scared away every spider within a ten-mile radius just for you."

Annabeth's lips twitched upward despite herself. She knew they were right. Percy would do anything to make today perfect.

Just then, the door creaked open, and Thalia Grace poked her head in, her punk aesthetic contrasting sharply with the soft décor of the room. "Hey, Annie, you ready? Kelp Head looks like he's about to explode out there."

Annabeth took a deep breath, her nerves slowly ebbing away. "Yeah, I'm ready."

As she walked out of the room with her friends by her side, she couldn't help but smile. Spiders or not, today was going to be perfect.
