By me.

Percy Jackson was staring at himself in the mirror, trying to ignore the endless fidgeting of Leo Valdez behind him. Leo held a comb in one hand and a bottle of gel in the other, his face fixed in a look of intense concentration as he slicked Percy's unruly hair back.

"Hey!" Percy whined, squirming away. "I think that's enough gel, Leo."

"Just a little more," Leo insisted, reaching to tame another rogue curl.

"Leave the boy alone, Valdez," Jason Grace chuckled, stepping in to fasten Percy's bowtie. He clapped Percy on the back. "You're good, man. Just remember, when you say your vows, try not to stutter or—"

"Thanks for the confidence boost," Percy muttered sarcastically.

He took a step back, adjusting his suit nervously, then turned to his friends with a serious look. "Okay, listen up, guys. This is important. Can someone check the aisle for spiders? Like, really make sure. Annabeth's been freaked out by them since... well, forever."

Leo smirked, crossing his arms. "Spiders? Are you serious, fish boy?"

Percy narrowed his eyes. "Completely. Annabeth's faced monsters, Titans, and gods, but a spider could ruin her day faster than any of those. I don't want her to be scared walking down the aisle."

Jason nodded solemnly, putting a hand on Percy's shoulder. "Don't worry. I'll make sure it's spider-free. I'll even borrow the Hephaestus cabin's metal dragons if I have to."

Leo chuckled. "Knowing Annabeth, I'd check every corner. She'd notice if even one of them made it in there."

"Good call," Percy sighed in relief. He grinned. "At least I'll have some peace of mind when she's walking down the aisle."

Just then, Frank Zhang pushed the door open, looking mildly panicked. "Dude, you need to hurry up. Hazel told me Annabeth's almost ready"

Percy nodded, took a deep breath, and looked at himself again. "I'm good. I defeated Kronos. I'm the son of Poseidon. I escaped Tartarus," he reminded himself, his voice steady. Then he turned back to his friends, his face etched with nervousness. "And... I'm nervous."

Leo rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. "There's nothing to be nervous about, fish boy. Just pray to the gods she doesn't judo-flip you again."

Jason laughed, giving Percy an encouraging smile. "Relax, man. You've got this. She's crazy about you, and you're about to have the best day of your life."

Percy felt his friends' support wash over him like a calming wave, and he couldn't help but laugh. "Alright. Let's go before Annabeth finds me and drags me down the aisle herself."
