Taylor's POV

I was yanked from sleep by an awful, awful feeling and I gasped, my eyes flying open. My forehead was slick with sweat, my body aching, and I scrambled out of bed, running to the bathroom.

Falling to my knees by the toilet, I heaved and threw up, choking and coughing, still half asleep. My eyes blurred with tears as I emptied my stomach, and a few moments later cool fingers were on the back of my neck, pulling my hair out of the way.

"I got you baby girl, I got you." Travis soothed. "Don't fight it okay?" He rubbed my back until I'd finished being sick, and then he pulled me back against his chest and wrapped his arms around me. "I got you." He murmured.

"I'm sorry." I sniffed.

"Hey, for better or for worse remember?" Travis reminded me, and I nodded weakly. "Did you catch a bug?" He asked.

"I don't know." I sighed, resting my head back against his shoulder. Travis' breath caught.

"Baby girl?" He whispered.

"Mhm?"

"Could you be pregnant?"

I paused, stopped entirely still as I processed his words. I was very aware of my heartbeat, of my breathing, of the acid taste in my mouth. Travis was still aswell as I counted backwards in my head, calculating my last period.

"Oh shit." I breathed. "I...I've missed my period. Fuck." I looked up at him. "Travis, baby."

"Okay, don't panic." Travis soothed. "It's okay. You know we want kids."

"Yeah but not now!" I did panic. "Not with her!"

"Shh." Travis stroked my cheek. "I know, I know this is awful. But if this is happening we can't do anything about it. I think we have some tests in the cupboard, so why don't you take one and then we'll talk about it."

I nodded, and Travis helped me to my feet. I brushed my teeth as he found the pregnancy tests, and then I took one before placing it on the sink. Travis reached out for my hand as I perched on the edge of the bath next to him and we clutched each other's fingers tightly, sitting there in silence. After a few minutes, I turned to look at him.

"I'm scared." I admitted. "I want a baby, so, so much. But right now it's just so awful with her here."

"I know but she's carrying my baby, and I can't ignore that." Travis sighed. "We will figure this out."

I nodded, reaching up for the pregnancy test on the sink and flipping it over before I lost my nerve. Travis and I stared down into my palm at the positive result, both of us still and silent. I swallowed.

"Oh my god." Travis whispered.

"That says pregnant right?" I checked.

"Y-yeah."

I looked up at him and met his gaze, which was blurry with tears. And even though I felt so shit, an excited laugh burst through my lips. Travis smiled, and we leaned in at the same time to fit our lips together. The kiss we shared was so sweet, adoring, happy. It might be hard, but we were going to have a baby together.

And then, like always, the bathroom door crashing open interrupted our moment. We pulled apart to see Lila bursting in, obviously about to be sick as well. She didn't spare us a glance before gagging into the toilet, her body heaving a few times before falling still. Then she sighed and sat back on her knees, looking over at us. Her eyes dropped to the pregnancy test I held.

"He knock you up too huh?" She chuckled, and I pressed my lips together. "Well this is going to be fun. Our babies will be half siblings."

"At least mine was wanted." I snapped before I could stop myself, and as soon as I said it I knew I'd gone too far. Travis let go of my hand and I went ice cold, turning to him. "Travis, baby, I didn't mean it like that..."
