New York
Travis' POV
"Baby?" Taylor knocked on the doorframe at the end of the hallway to catch my attention, and I looked up from where I was working on the couch, my hands pausing on my computer.
"Hey pretty girl." I smiled, reaching for the remote to turn down the volume of the TV that was playing some old football replays. "You look nice."
"Oh you." Taylor laughed, playfully swatting my shoulder as she leaned over the back of the couch. "I'm not even wearing makeup."
"I know." I turned my head to kiss her cheek. Taylor rolled her eyes at me. "Where are you going?" I asked, realizing she had a tote bag over her shoulder.
"I have a photoshoot with Mert and Marcus, we're doing another edition today." She told me. "You busy? You can come along if you want."
I paused for a moment, thinking. Taylor had taken me along to a few of her work things before, but a photoshoot wasn't something I'd seen yet. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like watching her model, especially for the album she was deeply passionate about. Every part of me wanted to see her in action, so I nodded and closed my computer.
"I'd love to come." I told her, and Taylor smiled, a little twinkle lighting up her baby blue eyes.
My excitement levels rose as I grabbed my things and followed Taylor out of the house, having no idea what I was about to witness. I drove us to the studio they were shooting in with Taylor's directions, and we headed down a ramp off the main street into a carpark below ground. There were a few other cars there, and I recognized one as belonging to Taylor's security.
"So what's the mood of this shoot?" I asked Taylor as we walked through the carpark hand in hand, heading for the doors to get into the studio.
"We're doing a kind of..." Taylor gestured with her free hand, searching for words. "Diamond covered showgirl, kind of flaunting it but in an all powerful confident way. I don't really know. We kind of start with a basic idea and end up going way off that if something better comes to mind."
"I cannot wait to see that." I smiled, squeezing her hand. Taylor smiled back, practically glowing.
I was kind of stunned into silence when we entered the studio, because the whole place was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. There were racks of diamond studded outfits, props, sets, cameras, equipment I couldn't name if I tried. Taylor seemed right at home among it all, taking me over to meet two tall men who introduced themselves as Mert and Marcus. If I was going to be honest, I was a little starstruck, so I probably seemed like a complete idiot. But Taylor didn't seem to mind.
I stepped out of the way as the three experts began to brainstorm, fiddling around with some of the set props and talking over where to start. There was so much for me to look at around the room but my eyes were fixed on the woman who captivated attention like she was the strongest magnet in the world. Watching the love of my life engulfed in one of her greatest passions was mesmerising.
"Okay, yeah I like that." Taylor said, catching my attention as she gathered up a sparkly outfit into her arms. "I'll go figure out how the hell to get this on." All three of them laughed, and Taylor's opalite eyes turned to me as she came over. "Might need some help." She murmured, bumping her hip against mine.
"Sure." I put my things down, following Taylor as she led me out of the main studio, down a hallway, and into a dressing room. She dumped the outfit onto a small table as I closed and locked the door behind us.
"I have no idea how this thing works." Taylor murmured to herself, and I turned to see her trying to make sense of the shimmering stones that made up most of the outfit they'd chosen, attempting to arrange it on the table.
