for abby <3 cus you've been rallying for this one shot for a LONG time
Travis' POV
Summer afternoons were my favorite. Doors open, light breezes, warm light cascading in throughout the whole day. Making things picturesque, but nothing more beautiful than my pretty girl.
Taylor sat at the kitchen counter, perched on a stool as I made lunch. She was trying to pick what to do next for her nails since she had an appointment in an hour, and she wasn't happy with any of the options on Pinterest she'd saved. Secretly, I found it hilarious, but she didn't, so I tried to hide my laughter. I just didn't get the whole nail dilemma.
"I can see you smirking." Taylor grumbled at me without looking up, sucking on her bottom lip in thought as she scrolled mindlessly through her hone. "It's not funny."
"I'm not!" I insisted, though I was, and I quickly wiped the smile off my face when her eyes flicked to meet mine. She'd probably try to throw something at me since she was so irritated by her lack of inspiration. That, I understood, just not with nails.
"Men will never understand this struggle." Taylor told me, scrolling through the little board she kept all her nail photos on. I swore she'd looked at the same photos a million times, but I was smarter than to tell her she should stop.
"Why don't I pick one for you?" I offered.
"The last time I let you pick my nails, you did bright red and yellow."
"Yeah?" I saw no problem with that. "Chiefs colors." I'd thought they looked good, but Taylor had got them redone sooner than her usual gap between appointments.
"Bright." Taylor repeated. "It wasn't cute baby, I'm sorry."
"Fine, I see how it is." I said in a fake hurt voice. Taylor rolled her eyes at me, reaching up to pat my cheek as she switched to TikTok and started searching for nail ideas on there.
I went back to making lunch, assembling sandwiches as Taylor sat there. A minute later, I heard a little huff escape from her lips and I looked up in time to see her turning her phone off and sliding off her stool. She skipped around the counter and flung her arms around my neck, kissing me enthusiastically.
"Hey there." I chuckled, amused by her advance but already ready and willing.
"Hi." Taylor breathed as I slipped my hands around her waist onto her back, down over her ass. She smiled as I picked her up and placed her on the kitchen counter, never able to complain when she was in the mood.
I was dating Taylor damn Swift. Of course I was always in the mood for her too. Any sane man would be.
"No lunch huh?" I mumbled.
"You can be my lunch." She whispered back, reaching down to undo my pants. I chuckled at her, stroking kisses against her lips, my hands sinking into her hair as we moved in perfect sync.
I sank into the taste of her lips, kissing Taylor with all I had. She edged her fingers inside my boxers, tugging them down, and then I felt her pause. Pulling back in case she'd suddenly decided she didn't feel like this, I looked at her. Taylor was staring down where her fingers were wrapped around me, a thoughtful expression on her face.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"Hold on." Taylor reached over, grabbing her phone. I raised my eyebrows at her as she opened an app, and then I raised them further when she pointed the camera between my hips. Hey, this wasn't a first time thing, but this certain moment was a little random.
