Ch.329 Boston Birthday Trip

It was August 15th, Henry's 23rd birthday. Emma wakes up her son really early. "Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to you..."

Henry wakes up. "Hi, Mom."

"Hey, kid. Get ready."

"Where are we going?"

"You will see. Wear your favorite outfit." Henry changed quickly.

Emma went to the kitchen to drink some coffee; she sees her husband. "Where are you and Henry off to?"

"I am surprising Henry on a little trip out of town. He has been taking Leia's treatment hard."

"Aye, I have been noticing that too."

"I just want him to enjoy his birthday."

"He will."

Henry goes to Leia's bedroom. Leia was awake, talking to her Super Kitties dolls. "Hi, baby sis!"

"Happy birthday Henwy!" He holds his sister and hugs her. "I start school soon. I have my Super Kitties backpack!"

Henry knows she is too sick to be in school just yet next month. She has been having blood transfusions for her blood platelets and a new food diet since her first blood transfusion. "I can go with you to buy school supplies."

"Yes!"

He carried her downstairs. His parents were talking. "Baby sis, do you know what Mom is up to?"

"No. I know you have fun with Mommy." He hugged his sister. "I be home with Daddy, Hope, and Ian."

"We will have fun when I get back home."

"Yes!"

Emma approached her children. "Hi, baby girl." She kissed her daughter on her cheek.

Hope saw her big brother. "Happy birthday Henwy!!" She hugged her big brother.

Hope hugged her big brother. "Happy birthday Henry! This is for you from Leia and I!"

He opened his gift, which was new Yoda Funko Pop. Emma hugs Hope and kissed her on the head.

"Happy birthday, son!"

"Thank you, Dad!" Henry hugged his Dad.

Killian gave his son a gift which was a new sailing outfit. "Dad, this is cool."

Emma faced her daughters. "Henry and I are going on a drive, you two and Ian are going to have a fun morning with Dad!"

"Yes!" Leia went to her Daddy who scooped her up and gave her kisses on her cheek.

Hope goes to her brother and hugs him. "Henwy? H time later?"

"Yes, we will, little sis!" He spun her around making her laugh.

She gives her son his gift. Henry opened his birthday gift, which was a new Apple iPad. "A new iPad!"

"I knew you needed a new one for your digital drawings. I thought you needed an update."

"My other iPad was getting old to the point that I cannot update it anymore. I will use it. When I am not studying for my classes." He hugged his Mom. He was still in college for his teaching degree. He took less classes the last semester to help out with Leia. "Thank you, Mom."

Emma drove her yellow bug with her son over the town line. "Mom, where are we going?"

"It is a surprise, kid."

"You mean a road trip?"

"Yes!"

"Awesome!" Henry smiles, Emma smiles back at her son as she drove her son to his birthday surprise. They stopped at a gas stop for snacks. Henry went in to get snacks as his Mom checked her iPhone for any texts from her husband about the kids.
