Scornfully you stare from afar
always assuming the worst of me
accusing me of being some kind of monster
judging me like a sinner on trial
condemning me for keeping politely to myself
Yet the funny thing is
you've never even seen me up close
you've never even talked to me
and you've never even tried
to get to know me
