    VIOLENCE

    Indirect violence 
    blood spills in the streets 
    just outside our windows 

    We're letting strangers take our bullets 
    so we can keep living comfortably 
    behind closed doors 

    We've all got blood on our hands 
    complicit in acts of terrorism by choice 
    but at least we're not the ones pulling the trigger, right?
