You wear your self-inflicted scars
like some kind of trophy
parading your misery around
as if it grants you
the moral high ground
free from any accountability
always playing the victim
always competing
to be the biggest
stick in the mud
You're constantly using the past
to justify
being a piece of trash
in the present
lashing out at strangers
blaming everyone else
for every problem
every insecurity
every minor inconvenience
in your sad life
desperate to win the award for
Biggest Loser of the Year
Every conversation
is a battlefield
where you never lose
because surrendering
to responsibility
and accepting any meaningful
advice or criticism
was never an option
you twist every offense
into an excuse
to avoid self-reflection
accusing everyone but yourself
for the disasters you orchestrate
I can't feel sorry for you anymore
because you're the person I used to be
and your pity party
has lost its audience
I'm done playing your stupid games
I'm fed up with tiptoeing around your fragile ego
at some point
you'll have to get over yourself
and when you do
maybe you'll finally realize
that no one's been holding you back
but you
