I've played the hero
stood up to injustice
fought for what's right
threw myself in harm's way
to try and save the world
I've dabbled in villainy
had a tragic fall from grace
embarked on quests for vengeance
possessed by the apparition
of traumatic hurt
Now I'm just a man
neither good nor evil
neither hero nor villain
just trying to survive
one day at a time
