Thank you for reading this poetry anthology. A lot of them came from a deep, personal place and it was difficult to work up the nerve to share them with a public audience. I wrote them during some hard times in my life, over the course of almost two entire decades as a matter of fact. Some were written when I was an innocent child wrestling with feelings I didn't fully understand, some when I was an angsty teenager that hated myself as much as I hated the world, some when I was a young adult trying to figure things out and reflect on the past. No matter when or where, writing about them made me feel better.
I can only hope that you were able to get at least some sense of understanding, relatability or enjoyment from them. If you understand the pain and struggle behind the words, just know that you're not alone. I hope things get better for you as well.
