Life is a cruel joke
being played on all of us
it never makes any sense
or amounts to anything
of any real significance
Good people die
before their time
bad things happen
for no rhyme or reason
justice is punished
and evil is rewarded
It's the longest running sick joke
a series of grotesque gags
an epic chronicle of wicked wisecracks
so I can't help but laugh
at the sheer insanity of it all
