Jumping off a cliff

headfirst into the great unknown

inhaling the icy cold

like Lovecraft in the arctic

deep into my lungs

I'm lost in the dark waters

but I'm not missing

just holding my breath

swimming until I find a land

I have never traversed before

Surely there must be

an abstract concept

of an unusual place

somewhere out there

even for the likes of me
